Perfect stay.
Blown away by the renovation of this listed historic building!! An upgrade allowed me to discover the superior rooms. Simply superb with these windows overlooking the Cantal Planèze. The wood at the head of the bed, excellent bedding, a bathroom with a white and refined bathtub and shower, a lovely little lounge, and this majestic staircase to go down. Everything was a source of discovery and surprise. Just improve the customer experience by better signposting the routes to the dining rooms, by putting on a little background music to break the austerity of the place which can be quite chilling for a meal for two or for business, and by improving the lighting because it is a little basic in the staircase. And then, do not hesitate to remind your suppliers that it is the customer, because he pays, who creates business. Being stuck as a truck delivering when it could have parked 10 meters further in the parking lot was very unpleasant and somewhat spoiled our enthusiasm and departure.
The hotel is in the process of upgrading: the dinner was excellent as was the dining hall. The service all round could be improved: it wasn't bad it just could have been more friendly in the hotel and restaurant. The breakfast was ok but there should have been a staff member to welcome us and ensure we had what we wanted
Great experience in a historic building. Nice stay.
Extraordinary place and building
Couple's trip. Atypical accommodation, in an exceptional historic building.
The lady in charge was excellent and very helpful.
Original accommodation but a shame that the restaurant was closed the evening we visited
We have stayed twice before. Sadly the restaurant was closed this time. The food there is superb.
We did not get the room we booked. We got an apartment that was certainly very large and new but did not have the charm of the rooms in the photo. Good restaurant, friendly staff Comfortable bedding but small bed.
Very warm welcome, spacious and quiet room. Well soundproofed, the only downside for us is that the mattresses are hard and the hotel should offer either twin beds or large beds 160 x 200
A very pleasant evening and night in this hotel full of history. Very beautiful and large modern room and a quality restaurant
Nice hotel but being upgraded I find that the bed is really too small, no air conditioning when it's 30 outside, not easy
A lovely place to stay with stunning views from the room. Accommodation is simple but spacious and comfortable. Everything you need for an overnight stop. And the restaurant some of the best French food I've had in decades. The fresh perch was delicious and the whole meal a pleasure. Also recommended is the local white wine.
Beautiful, newly renovated room. Hearty breakfast. Perfect for a stopover.
The room I stayed in (renovated) was spacious and comfortable.
We arrived on a Sunday evening; the floors were dirty: especially in the bathroom: lots of hair and other things. Breakfast was served in the room; no good reason for this: the trays were not identical. We had coffee even though we had been asked by phone what we were having for breakfast: a coffee and a black tea; after going down to ask for black tea we were given a bag of black tea with red fruits (without a teapot or cup) after going down a second time I had a bag of black tea (still without a teapot or cup) we had to make do with the courtesy tray in the room). Even if the restaurant is closed, breakfasts must be served properly
Very nice place but the rooms at 98 euros are not recommended
Great atypical experience in this former seminary. Absolutely to discover. The service lives up to the very high quality of the dishes.
Perfect, very beautiful setting and very pleasant welcome. Very good breakfast.
Nice and conveniently located hotel near the autoroute with a (very!) spacious family room. Also close to the town center and we did like the atmosphere and authenticity of the building. Worthwhile staying here. Only hint; make the reception a bit more visible. For the rest, would definitely stay here again.
Exceptional friendly reception team, very comfortable renovated rooms with views of the mountains, atypical location, and hearty breakfast. Very good lunch! We recommend without reservation! Really recommended
A beautiful room in a stylish building, quiet and yet close to the heart of Saint-Flour. We enjoyed our dinner with excellent value for money.
The room was OK, there was scaffolding up outside the window, luckily it was a Saturday night so no workmen. The common parts in the hotel are very tired and the dining experience was disappointing, a set menu of a poor quality and breakfast !! There were coffee machines and capsules but one was out of order and all the others were out of order. We asked for the water to be re-filled from 2 different people and it was not. Finally we were to,d to drink the disgusting coffee from the urn. Finally I used the water from the other table (meant for drinking) into the machine, which will have inconvenienced others wanting water, and managed to get 2 coffees, but the unhelpful staff ( the most senior just left and didn’t come back) was a pity.
The bath was excellent and the water hot. As always the shower was hard to work out, but it worked well.
But people need decent breakfasts with reasonable coffee.
In a lovely location, but needs more attention to detail. Restaurant staff at dinner excellent, as was the food. Breakfsst a totally different experience with poor choice and lack of replacing food. Room nicely refurbished, but needs a fridge.
Tiring of filling out this form with ridiculous details like "bathroom equipment" Should we get ecstatic and put "very good" because there is a shower? Although this is NORMAL.
Hello There is deception when we see the photos of rooms on the website. In fact there are only the beautiful renovated rooms. Which must be the prestige I imagine. I booked a comfort room telling myself that it should already be good, big surprise when I opened the room door. Dated decoration without any taste. The worst being the bathroom worthy of an EHPAD from the 1980s. The year is 2024. It was gloomy, the floor (faded linoleum), the walls, the unworthy lighting, the outdated furniture. I wonder if the hotel didn't collect the shelves from the street during the bulky items. It’s unworthy and damages the image of Logis. The room is worth 2 stars no more and the bathroom is only worth 1 star. It's not worth the €90 asked for. So, after dinner at 11:30 p.m., we changed rooms at an additional cost to pay €125. And there it is day and night. Very nice room, well decorated, designer, brand new, easily worth 3 stars, or even 4 stars. This results in too much disparity between the 2 rooms. We have the impression of having completely changed hotels.
When booking, photos of the prestige rooms are shown when in fact upon arrival we discover that the so-called comfort rooms are absolutely disappointing, not even worthy of a 2-star hotel, for example, dilapidated linoleum up to the ceiling, persistent anti-bug or cockroach odor, 1cm foam mattress, recovery bed, and chest of drawers in poor condition. For example, bedside lamp on both sides but one side without socket. In short, very very disappointing, no comfort, basic room, dilapidated and old station hotel style.
Single room (too simple) Excellent meal, very good and beautiful in its presentation, Spring Menus excellent value for money. THANKS
This place is surprising but very beautiful.
We chose this hotel based on the information given in its advertising. First surprise: no one to welcome us; only information giving a code for opening the gate (useless, the gate having always remained open) an access code to enter the building and the room number (110) where the key awaits us. Restaurant closed; a person we met, by chance, explained to us that the restaurant having operated on the weekend it was closed on Tuesday contrary to what had been indicated to us when booking; this person tells us how to dine in town but unfortunately the only restaurant worthy of the name was full. Obviously the hotel was empty (2 rooms occupied. It would have been more correct to only open this establishment once the fittings were completed;
The hotel was closed on the day of our stay. I only found out the day before when I called them. We were still able to recover the key - no code access service - breakfast delivered the evening before and not great... very disappointed by the value for money, we had taken a superior room however. Renovation carried out with average services. In short, not recommended!
Very good stay, comfortable room and pleasant restaurant with attentive service. I recommend staying in St Flour and discovering the region. Small details need to be corrected for the future
The place is amazing and the food excellent, add a smile and it will be perfect... Thanks
A timeless establishment with all the comfort. A magnificent view of the surrounding countryside. Excellent cuisine. Both hotel and restaurant staff, very commercial, accommodating. Top value for money. Highly recommended.
Very beautiful old building with an ideal location in Saint Flour. The view from the rooms over the countryside is very pleasant. There is parking and the restaurant is very satisfactory. In short, we are very delighted with our stay. The room we booked for one night was one of the simplest.
We expected a unique hotel from the description and it definitely was. We would stay here again.
Excellent situation in a charming town. However the hotel requires considerable sums of money to be spent on it to bring it upto standard let alone a comfortable and welcoming experience. At present it is more seminary than hotel.
To come back
disappointing for a three star, no air conditioning and not even a fan in this heat. Lack of staff.
Hotel very well located in Saint Flour, renovated with taste, hearty breakfast and great welcome!
Perfect
The bathroom without a door, so if you take a shower the room is completely humid
No false note. The place is magical, full of stories. The welcome and the staff are very pleasant. Icing on the cake: the market of St Flour le Haut, on Saturday morning.
On
Very pleasant discovery. We liked everything: the building, the bright, clean and spacious room, the staff, the location, the excellent dinner, of course, and the quality/price ratio.
Very quiet hotel ideally located in the center of Saint Flour. Many parking spaces.
Superb building and top restaurant We stayed in an apartment It is very nice to have a living area with kitchenette well separated from the rest of the room. Equipment of the kitchenette to be modernized (missing a microwave) and refrigerator to change.
Gorgeous family room. Pleasant and welcoming environment. We totally recommend
Room very well renovated, modern and comfortable. Almost perfect walk-in shower. Lacks a small holder for soap, shampoo and/or washcloth.
Great hotel. So much character and history. Staff where very good, helped us countless times
Beautiful location with a view Friendly and welcoming staff Atypical accommodation, charming, beautiful garden
Team at the top! Service nickel nothing to say for a last minute stay (reservation the morning of arrival). In addition we had the choice of rooms!
A very beautiful place, a building steeped in history, a tastefully renovated room....a place that I highly recommend for spending 1 or more nights in St Flour!!!
