LOGIS HOTELS GROUP" CONFIDENTIALITY AND PRIVACY CHARTER
1 PREAMBLE
The Logis Hôtels Group comprises 2,200 independent restaurant-hotels in Europe.
The Logis Hôtels Group provides its customers (individuals and professionals) with specific services (website, loyalty programme, newsletters, etc.) and in particular an online reservation centre on the www.logishotels.com website and via the mobile application available on IOS and Android. This centre is managed by Logis International Services (LIS), a subsidiary of the Fédération Internationale des Logis (FIL).
In this context, FIL and LIS (Logis Hotels Group) wished to draw up this Charter in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/79) in force since 25 May 2018 and the amended Data Protection Act.
The purpose of this Charter is to specify the Logis Hôtels Group's customer personal data protection policy and forms an integral part of the general terms and conditions governing the Group's services. Therefore, by accepting our general terms and conditions, you expressly accept the provisions of this Charter.
LOGIS HOTELS GROUP COMMITMENT TO PRIVACY
Your privacy is important to us.
By using Logis Hotels Group services, you are placing your trust in us, and we want to protect it. That is why we do our utmost to protect and secure all the personal data you share with us. We act in the interests of our customers.
This document explains, clearly and transparently, how we use and process your personal data, so that you can easily understand our approach.
It also tells you how to contact us if you have any questions about your personal data, and we would be happy to help.
By "personal data" we mean any information that directly or indirectly identifies a customer.
This may be nominative data (surname, first name, address, email address, date of birth, etc.) or data that can be used to determine customer profiles (hobbies, etc.) and to send you personalised offers.
The Logis Hôtels Group undertakes to comply with 6 fundamental principles of the European Regulation, which constitute the main rules applicable to our processing of personal data:
1. Transparency: when we collect and process your personal data, we will inform you of the purpose and recipients of your data.
2. Legitimacy: we will only collect and process your personal data for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
3. Relevance and accuracy: we only collect the personal data necessary for data processing. We take all reasonable steps to ensure that the personal data we hold is accurate and up to date.
4. Retention: we retain your personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes of data processing in accordance with legal requirements.
5. Access, rectification, objection, limitation, deletion, portability, consent: you have the right to withdraw your consent, to object to or limit the processing of your personal data and to access, modify, correct or delete your personal data. The management of your rights is proposed in paragraph 8 "Exercise your Rights".
2. What is your data used for?
The Logis Hôtels Group only collects and uses your personal data for specific purposes that are limited to what is necessary for you, namely:
Customer relationship management (in the context of holiday bookings via the logishotels.com website and in particular the management of any complaints following a holiday).
2. Commercial relationship management (newsletters, competitions, promotions, surveys, prospects, contacts, online advertising, etc.);
3. Management of the "ETIK" loyalty programme,
4. Implementing statistics on customer visits to Logis Hôtels Group establishments as a whole;
5. Improving our services by carrying out studies following the sending of satisfaction questionnaires and managing customer reviews;
Managing any requests you may make to exercise your rights.
In the case of reservations, this processing is necessary for the performance of a contract.
The other aspects of the management of the commercial relationship relate to the legitimacy of developing a commercial activity, offering promotional and personalised advantages to our customers, providing solutions in response to customer requests or evaluating the quality and satisfaction of the services offered.
Certain processing operations are carried out at your request or with your consent. In particular, this involves entering your email address in the field provided for this purpose in order to subscribe to our newsletter, or when you make a request for commercial information.
3 What data is used?
We collect and use the personal data necessary for our activities, in particular in order to offer you personalised, high-quality products or services.
We may need to collect different types of personal data about you, in particular :
contact details (e.g. surname, first name, telephone number, email address, etc.) ;
personal information (e.g. day and month of birth (not obligatory, can be used for personalised offers such as birthdays), nationality (enables us to send you emails in your language of communication and to send you personalised offers, etc.);
information about your children (e.g. age, etc.); your credit card number (essential data intended solely for transaction and reservation purposes);
your preferences and centres of interest in order to send you personalised offers
offers;
your questions/comments following your stay.

We do not wish to collect "sensitive" information. For this reason, we would ask you not to communicate any such information when dealing with our services (information such as health data, racial or ethnic origins, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, sexual orientation, etc.).
4.WHEN IS YOUR PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED?
Personal data may be collected on various occasions, both via our online tools and during your contacts with our services (letters, e-mails), in particular:
1. Booking stays in Logis Hôtels Group establishments via the logishotels.com website or Logis Hôtels applications:
Booking a room;
Requests, complaints and/or disputes following a stay.
2. Participation in Logis Hôtels Group marketing programmes or events:
Registration in the "Logis Hôtels customer" database of the "ETIK" loyalty programme;
Contribution to satisfaction questionnaires following stays in Logis Hôtels Group establishments;
Competitions organised by the Logis Hôtels Group;
Subscription to newsletters, in order to receive offers and promotions by email.
3. Technical information :
Your IP address;
Information provided by the browser on the operating system and browser used;

5.HOW LONG WILL YOUR DATA BE KEPT?
Data is only kept for the time strictly necessary:
Fulfilment of orders;
Legal and regulatory constraints, particularly in relation to the management of disputes;
To offer personalised services.
Our general data retention policy for the website is as follows:
Identification data: 3 years from the last date of visit to the site or connection to the customer service;
Order data: 3 years from the date of the order;
Bank details, in the event of a reservation, transmitted to the hotel and stored in the PCI system for a period of 7 days after the check-out date.
Prospective customer data: 3 years after the last indication of interest (such as a click on a newsletter link);
Cookies: a maximum of 13 months from the date they are deposited on your computer or terminal (We invite you to read the rules relating to cookies in the "Cookie Policy" accessible from our cookie advice banner);
6.WHAT MEASURES ARE TAKEN TO ENSURE THE SECURITY OF YOUR DATA
It is our responsibility to define and implement physical or logical technical security measures, in accordance with applicable legal provisions, to protect your personal data against unlawful or accidental destruction, accidental loss or alteration, or unauthorised disclosure or access.
To this end, we have put in place technical measures (such as firewalls) and organisational measures (such as a login/password system, physical protection, etc.).
When you send us information concerning your credit card when you make your reservation, SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption technology is used to secure your transactions and a PCI-type information system is set up, with the data being entered only into this system.
DATA BREACH :
In the event of a personal data breach, we undertake to notify the CNIL in accordance with the conditions laid down by the European Regulation.
If the said breach poses a high risk to customers and contacts and the data has not been protected:
- We will notify the customers and contacts concerned without delay;
- We will provide the customers and contacts concerned with the necessary information and recommendations.
7.TRANSFER OF DATA
We do not transfer any data to third-party companies for any reason other than one of the following:
Provision of services ordered: in order to be able to provide you with the services you have booked, the data is passed on to the companies concerned, i.e. :
The establishments offering their services on the logishotels.com website, in particular for quality control purposes;
Partners: cancellation insurance, gift cards and any other related product sold on the logishotels.com website, either directly or as a white label.
Subcontracting: The Logis Hôtels Group uses service providers to operate its website and provide you with the services and products offered, in particular
IT subcontracting;
Marketing services: marketing follow-up, sending newsletters;
Collection of customer reviews
For all of these data transfers, the Logis Hôtels Group takes care to work only with reputable companies and to secure its relations with these companies (contracts, etc.).
Specific case for transfers outside the EU
The Logis Hôtels Group's policy is not to transfer data outside the European Union, except in the following cases:
Microsoft Office 365 for office automation tools;
Salesforce Cloud marketing for the newsletter tool;
Google solution for marketing and advertising tracking and site optimisation.
8.exercise your rights
In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 as amended and European Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, you have the right to access and rectify information concerning you, as well as the right to withdraw your consent, the right to limit processing, portability and erasure within the framework permitted by the European Regulation and depending on the context of the legal basis for processing. In accordance with article 85 of the French Data Protection Act, you may also define directives concerning the fate of your personal data after your death.
Please note that the exercise of these rights is not absolute, and may be restricted for reasons of legitimate interest (customer disputes) or legal reasons.

8.2 In the course of its business, Groupe Logis Hôtels collects telephone data. Pursuant to the provisions of Article L.223-2 of the French Consumer Code, Logis Hôtels Group informs you that you may register on the telephone canvassing opposition list, accessible at www.bloctel.gouv.fr, in order to stop receiving unsolicited commercial telephone calls.
9 Manage your cookies
