Our third stay here now on our way north. This hotel is ideal as everything about it is excellent. It is less than 5 mins to the town centre, secure parking, good dog walking nearby, the welcome, the room, the breakfast and the dinner. It is great value and service delivered with a smile.

A conveniently located hotel in the centre of Salbris and just a short drive from the main motorway. The host is very welcoming and helpful and the car park, although small is very secure. Rooms at the front of the hotel are a bit noisy due to the busy road. The hotel itself is rather dated and could do we a refresh, especially the brown carpets that run through the place and which have clearly seen better days. The food in the restaurant is what makes this place and is really delicious but again, the brown decor and floor coverings could do with updating to make the place look and feel lighter and fresher.

This is now our regular stop on our way to Dieppe from SW France. The hotel has everything we need, excellent restaurant, bar, secure parking, excellent position opposite supermarket, petrol station, local bar in walking distance. Just what we need after a long drive.
Rooms are clean and comfortable, host friendly and helpful.

This is a beautiful personal hotel serving top quality local French produce in a quiet rural village.

A small hotel, close to the main roads but not right on them, a spacious room with a nice bathroom (you just need a shower curtain), it may just be missing air conditioning, but the small fan was enough for us for the night not very hot, very clean place, excellent breakfast and above all, an extremely professional hostess, smiling and bright, what a pleasure!!

Every year, for 17 years, we have hosted at the Hôtel du Dauphin for a week. We have always been made to feel very welcome. The meals are very delicious and very well presented, the chef is excellent. Depending on the weather, we eat inside or outside. Everything is super clean. Staff is friendly and smiling. Access to the hotel is convenient since it is on the N20. Possibility of parking your car in the courtyard behind the hotel. I highly recommend.

We selected this hotel because of its location and price point. This was a stopover on our trip on the way to Normandie (from Arles). Although our room was small, it provided all of the amenities and was clean, neat and well decorated. In fact, we were lucky and got the last room in the hotel. Our overall experience was excellent - small and charming hotel, excellent service, Celine was pleasant, attentive and helpful and provided us with lots of advice about the area. The restaurant was phenomenal and the cuisine was exquisite. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back next time we come through the area.

Last minute booking on the way to vacation. So we inherited the smallest room (but were notified in advance by the owner and confirmed our reservation). Small, simple hotel. Decent dinner (served on the pleasant covered terrace in the garden). Nice presentation of the dishes but the fish were a little bland. Pretty spartan breakfast. Overall, a good address for a one-night stopover.

A lovely hotel, made all the better by Celine's very friendly welcome. A homely, comfortable & friendly hotel, convenient for motorway access yet in a quiet location. Our room was clean & more than adequate for our over night stay.
The evening meal was a delight, being great value for money & cooked to a high standard, delicious....just what you need after 6+hours on the road. Will happily stay here again if we pass by Salbris.

Satisfactory stage, very clean and well appointed room and toilets. Careful restoration. However, it is better to avoid rooms on the 1st floor due to the noise from the parquet flooring on the upper floor.

I so pleased I stayed in this quiet hotel, service was excellent, food was superb and the wine very good value. Just a short hope to the A20 so ideal for a stop on the journey or for that matter spend a few day's. The food was excellent I chose the epicurean menu and a bottle of Brouilly. Highly recommended

Very good communication with the hotel owner from the start of the reservation by email. Secure parking space, excellent welcome, choice of breakfast on arrival as there is no buffet (personally I find it very good). We were in room 2 with its bathroom. Correct decoration (shame about the carpet on the floor), very good bedding, the entire bedroom and bathroom very clean). We loved the dinner (we took the superior menu, or +11 euros/person) without any regrets! It was excellent. The next morning, very decent and good breakfast. In short, for a hotel 50 minutes from Chambord (impeccable road between the two places), don't hesitate.

If the Logis Hôtel "le DAUPHIN", an establishment representing an excellent compromise thanks to its geographical location, perfectly maintained inside and out, offering an inventive table, the Hostess of the house, of impeccable politeness, is on the defensive when questions are asked! Having contacted the Dauphin by email, question relating to private parking. Written in bold font, to better target the purpose of my email, my question thus presented, apparently offended and shocked Madame, who pointed it out to me as soon as we arrived. This Lady would benefit from being more humble, less strict in her way of being, of expressing herself. That’s a shame!

A nice address that we discovered during a motorcycle trip (which can be parked in the parking lot at the back of the hotel) We had dinner under the covered terrace and it was the "between two" menu that gave us delighted. A beautiful place where we will return with pleasure because the welcome is really excellent.
