We are returning to your establishment for the second time and everything went very well. The staff is very nice, whether it is the reception or the restaurant staff, nothing to say. We had dinner at the restaurant and the staff were really lovely, helpful and cheerful. The breakfast lady also, very nice. The rooms were also very comfortable.

Very comfortable bedding, clean and pleasant room. Only the air conditioning is not great, we were hot but we turned off the air conditioning and opened the windows which brought us more freshness. Otherwise everything was very good.
Magnificent hotel, in an exceptional location
Excellent welcome both in the evening and the morning of departure. On the other hand, I am disappointed to have found the restaurant closed on a Tuesday evening even though the stopover evening is announced on the Logis app. In general, the usual closing day for hotel restaurants is Monday. This is a very good hotel and we are visiting this hotel for the third time and will return this year and also next year.
Poorly secured bathroom, poorly placed handles, slippery floor and bathtub. Rather cheap toiletries. No Kleenex. Low water pressure. Low shower column where the hand shower does not tilt. No overhead shower head. Restaurant closed Saturday and Sunday. Parking remains open to all at night. Mini bottle of water offered (thank you) not renewed.
Pleasant stay
We discovered this peaceful and charming place during my spa treatments a few years ago. It was with great nostalgic pleasure that my son and I made a stop there that was unfortunately too short. TB everywhere without further comment. Sincere congratulations and encouragement to the people who bring this endearing hotel-restaurant to life.

Very good restaurant
We have stayed several times in this hotel, each time the welcome was very pleasant. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped. Breakfast is simple but complete with good products (sweet and savory). The restaurant is excellent. The service is perfect with very pleasant staff and good advice. We will return and recommend this lovely place.
Very good hotel. Heartwarming welcome. The room was spacious with all amenities. We were disappointed by the breakfast, the value for money of breakfast compared to the restaurant and the hotel is different. We found a lack of quantity and quality of the products.
La Roche Posay, old-fashioned charm of a spa resort. Comfortable hotel and pleasantly large room. However, we had not been informed that the restaurant was closed that evening, a Wednesday, and it was difficult to find a restaurant that was not full at 7:00 p.m. Fortunately the receptionist found us a very good one in the next town 6 km away.

The hotel is very quiet, charming, the welcome was very pleasant, the people were very kind.
The restaurant offers a high-level gastronomic menu. However, for spa guests, a lighter, even more copious and less expensive menu would be desirable. The welcome is remarkable, as is the service at the bar or at the table. The dishes offered are delicious. Only the breakfast is a little expensive for what is offered and the presentation, worthy of a 2 star......

A suggestion: install a changing table in the ground floor toilets and microwave access.
I find it very disappointing for a 4 star not to have toiletries. Having to change rooms for the first time because the heating doesn't work and then having to fight all night with wood bugs and not just one but several. The bathroom joints are yellow and the bedroom wallpaper is all frayed.

A pleasant and pleasant stay. We stayed in the beautiful hotel both on our outward and return journey. The welcome was very warm and we were given the Caravan suite at our request. The furnishings and comfort of the room were excellent and positively special. We thought the dinner was excellent. a beautiful ambiance and together with the recommended wines, we enjoyed it twice. The price-performance ratio was excellent and we hope to stay here often in the future

Still, I prefer the smaller lodging hotels. Just a little more personal. The hotel is beautifully located in the middle of a nice village.
Very good experience with your host including at your table. The only small inconvenience is that the soundproofing of the room is not very annoying, perhaps our neighbors above were from the pachyderm family!! I will come back with pleasure.

The restaurant experience.
The dinner menu was complex and only in French, so as English travelers with limited French we struggled to understand it. I asked if we might have a menu in English, but was told no and the waiter just walked off, so no offer of assistance. We had to use Google to translate. I was not happy.
Then when we ordered we were asked to provide the dessert choice same time. I thought that surprising and wasn't ready. Is it a French thing?
In conclusion, this was meant to be a fine dining experience but was spoiled from the outset. The waiter's behaviour was brusque throughout; not at all welcoming.
very small room, no shelf next to the bed, tiny bathroom (approx. 1.5 square meters, shower 60x60(!)cm), the worst breakfast in a hotel that we have ever experienced. Overall very poor price-performance ratio. However, friendly, professional staff, good bar offerings.
Oh gosh, must be my 6th visit here. The rooms are excellent, the staff lovely and the pool most welcome in this hot weather.

We loved our room. We had such a wonderful evening last time but sadly this time was not quite so good. The food is very nice but a little pricey. We didn't mind but it was the waiter who spoiled our evening. He was sullen, unfriendly and left quire an unpleasant atmosphere. We didn't feel welcome at all. The lady assistant was very nice and so was the waiter during our last visit.

We haven't slept all night. Bedding hard as rock and room at 25° because air conditioning has broken down. When we reported it, we were told "ah. That will be so much". Definitely too many customers so we will never go back and spread the word.
Our family room was actually a small 2 bedroom apartment! Large swimming pool (frankly cold). Very good quality restaurant.
We expected more for the price. The location of the hotel is very good. Nevertheless, the photos on the site announced a more idyllic setting than what we had. The room was very basic and dated with a very small bathroom. The breakfast is also more than basic and at 9:30 am the jam is finished, it is already gone, the same for the fruit (I specify it was Sunday so 9:30 am is very early to remove the food)

Nice hotel with swimming pool. We had a standard room, but very spacious, on the top floor, with a beautiful view of the park. There are very bad comments here and there, I expected to be disappointed… but in the end I was pleasantly surprised! The bedding is standard but not as bad as you can read on some reviews.
where are the 4 stars: dilapidated bedroom windows, tiled bathroom that is all crooked, simple bathroom, no tissues, very narrow shower, air conditioning out, wifi almost non-existent. the staff is very nice, breakfast side very little choice of teas, industrial products. it is on that for the price which is more than reasonable it is almost normal.
Lovely room in a beautiful old hotel. We were unlucky with the weather this time so glad of the sauna and heat lamps on the fitness centre. My only minor complaint would be the Aircon isn't very cool.
For a 4 star the level is very low level of service or level of equipment, after for one night at less than 100€ I put it into perspective. We spent the afternoon at the very beautiful swimming pool, where we didn't see the staff once, the pool had a lot of insects, but it's not surprising since nobody goes there! It's a shame, it would not be complex to offer a bar service. Also no swimming pool towel offered, you have to take those from the room which are in mini format. We could not have lunch when we arrived because full, as well as all the restaurants in the city, it would be good, because it is obviously always the ace in La Roche Posay, to warn when we book of this "tension" reservations, so as not to end up like us taking a dish from the caterer to eat on a bench! The nugget is the fitness area Sauna hammam which is in a catastrophic state, with a broken hamman, a sauna without light and a red UV lamp area above the white plastic deckchair, it's quite disconcerting! The bedding is top, but the bathroom outdated and with a tiny shower. In short it is an old hotel which needs good renovations, I do not understand how it can have 4 stars as displayed at the entrance!
We have been in this hotel also in 2022 (under the name of hotellerie la Roche Posay and didn’t like the service then so we searched for another hotel in the same region for an overnight stay during our trip home from the south of Spain to Holland. We found the hotel at booking.com and chose it for its large pool. But the photos on booking.com are misleading and so we discovered that it was the same hotel as last year when we arrived. The lady on the reception didn’t want to give us a room at 13.00h (exactly the same as last yearr) and we had to wait for 2 hours while we just wanted to sleep. The hotel wasn’t even fully booked because it was still able to book rooms on booking.com for the same day.

We are a family of 5 and booked for 3 nights. After the 1st I went to the reception to express our disappointment given the poor sound insulation of the windows overlooking the square and the icy welcome at breakfast, the quality of which is not up to par. price. No apologies, no proposed solutions were made. I was offered to leave the hotel quite simply: at 5, a 14/07 and 7 months pregnant, it was the height of the service expected from a home in France. This experience was catastrophic for the image of your channel.

Lovely old hotel. We were lucky to get two suites at the front of the hotel. My only complaint would be that the Aircon is very poor and it was a bit hot in the room. The swimming pool is great...but unheated!
