A success, the bosses are great and funny. Everything is perfect.
Comfortable small hotel. Could be improved by simple upgrades. There was a kettle in the room but no cups and no coffee/tea. Our room was on the top floor. There's no lift but that wasn't a problem for us.

We like to support traditional Logis hotels but are sometimes disappointed. This hotel has improved since the last time we stayed, quite a few years ago. We chose to stay here because we know the restaurant is good. However it was closed, Tuesday night! My fault, I should have checked before booking.
General areas are tired. No lift, uneven floors, small bathroom area; but it has a certain quirky charm.
The bed was comfortable. Good to have a kettle (especially as restaurant closed), but nothing else. Lady who checked us in gave us 2 cups; she was very pleasant and helpful.
We parked in large car park nearby, free between end-September and beginning-May.
Didn’t have breakfast.
Sadly will probably not use again.
after a long day travelling, we were happy to get to our hotel for the night.
