For me personally, it is extremely difficult to avoid the “Halo Effect “😇😇 to describe my experience of staying at the Hotel le Relais de Franche Comte.
I was particularly impressed with Martine Frelin and her team’s welcoming professionalism, and their delightfully infectious smiles !

Very good establishment for a stay in Haut-Doubs. Nothing to complain about for the welcome, the cleanliness of the rooms and the catering. Everything suited me and I will return with pleasure. I encourage this establishment to continue in this direction.
An easily accessible hotel for our first night in France

Staff were very good and we had an excellent evening dinner...all good
Perfect accommodation. Very good breakfast. Too bad we had to go out to eat on Saturday evening because the restaurant was closed due to lack of staff.

An excellent address! A first time in this hotel (in the evening stopover) and quite honestly everything was perfect, whether it was table service (with a smile), the quality of the dinner (kudos to the chef), the bedding (I slept like a baby) until breakfast everything was there to come out in great shape and ready for a new day!
We found this an ideal hotel to spend our fist night in France. The room was comfortable, the food was good and the staff were efficient and welcoming.

Overall disappointing, building alarm ringing 3 to 4 times in the night, no apologies from the staff when paying and no goodwill gesture either. Older building and even older decor.
