Ok rooms but worth it for the exceptional food. Real, old fashined, genuine French cuisine.

Hospitality of the highest quality and absolutely wonderful supper. Please note the opening hours for the auberge, as we assumed check in would be mid afternoon and had to interrupt the hostess’ afternoon rest.

Lovely characterful building, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are small but adequate, perhaps a tad expensive compared to other similar hotels. What sets this hotel apart is the food. Excellent breakfast and stunning dinner.

I no longer look for where to stay when I'm on a business trip to the region. I have never been disappointed during my stays: the welcome is always friendly, the hotel is quiet, the rooms are comfortable and the catering is always top notch. Regarding the restaurant, my daughter, who accompanied me for the week, told me that it was the one she preferred out of the 8 where we had our meals... And it was good! :-)

Quality evening stopover. The dinner, even in the evening, is excellent and very well presented. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and in a pleasant and above all quiet room. Room and bathroom very good. Small downside on the bedding which to my taste needs to be reviewed. However, I slept very well there.

We returned to Cheval Blanc because we always had a great time there and this was the case again!
Room was ideal for us on the ground floor as we had our dog with us. There's also a large municipal park very close for dog exercising. The food was excellent and the restaurant service was great. Definitely consider staying again.

Booked as an evening stopover for a business trip, I enjoyed a good welcome, very high quality catering, a comfortable and very clean room. The breakfast is impeccable and the staff very attentive. So why hesitate? Go there you will be like me: you will not regret the experience of the white horse 😉
It would have been helpful had the booking confirmation indicated that the hotel re-opens at 6pm, we would have delayed our arrival until then. Unfortunately we had to disturb Patricia from her afternoon siesta!
Secondly, there are inadequacies with the water system, all guests arriving at the same time, meant we could not get a hot shower before dinner. Also the toilet cistern was extremely slow to fill!! WI-FI in the room was non-existent, however I can live without that , but not a hot shower! Otherwise this stay would have received a 5 star review.

We spent a pleasant WE in this place in the heart of Sologne. Everything is perfect, at excellent value for money, a restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, well laid tables, delicious cuisine delivered by the Chef who owns the place. A friendly service provided by the hostess and attentive staff. The hotel on a human scale with Solognote decoration with exposed beams and perfectly maintained, the rooms are comfortable and the breakfast more than adequate. Brief ! A highly recommended address.

If you want to combine a delicious, upscale dinner/menu with a rather simple overnight stay in this family hotel in a sleepy place, this is the place for you. The menu is prepared like in a star restaurant, but so is the price. The breakfast is sufficient and tasty - if you don't have the right to a warm breakfast. The rooms are simple and can be reached via the backyard. Parking lot around the corner.
We had a very pleasant time. The accommodation is cozy and above all, the cuisine is just a delight for the taste buds!!! For lovers of very good cuisine, no doubt about it! Not to mention that there is something to walk right next to it, around the pond. The place is really charming.
We had a great stay at the Auberge du Cheval Blanc. The food is excellent, the rooms comfortable and very clean. The breakfast is varied and the welcome is very friendly. I highly recommend this establishment and we will return with great pleasure.
Inn with flowers and typical red brick, on a human scale located at the very beginning of Sologne West, in the middle of forests and renowned properties. Warm contacts with very considerate hosts who take precedence over everything with, in addition, a high quality chef. The very friendly rooms are tastefully decorated and the bedding is of high quality. In short, rest in a surrounding silence where only the birds of the neighboring park sing, for more or less long stays, given an environment steeped in the history of France... 2 electrical terminals on the forecourt of the charming church nearby for electric or hybrid vehicles complete the bucolic picture of this charming village where there is a renowned beekeeper. Highly recommended but very confidentially!
