The room for 3 people with 3 separate beds, which we reserved, has been occupied. We are offered the room with 2 beds!!!
The hotel itself is pretty OK, but the staff was very unfriendly and only speaks French. At check-out we received a hand-written bill of €818,- although we had booked via Booking.com for a total price of €406,-. Fortunately the Booking.com customer service was able to correct this relatively quick. In the area there is no way to get a taxi or Uber, so all traveling has to be done by foot or your own car.

Hotel very well located in Longwy. Quiet, good soundproofing, good bedding, well-appointed bedroom and bathroom. Progress needs to be made on technical maintenance (faulty bulbs, foamer to replace on the sink faucet, capricious TV remote control). The wifi coverage in the room was weak.
Good experience
Filthy dirty room and bed. Staff didn’t speak the languages they advertised that they did, making it impossible to complain. Lightbulbs missing in the room. Only 1 towel. Didn’t stay for breakfast as everything was so disgusting we could only imagine what the kitchen would be like.
Hotel was closed on arrival and took 10-15 minutes before anyone appeared. Contrary to listing no English spoken and communication was challenging.
We did like the character and location of the hotel and the traditional french breakfast was good but there were limited gluten free options for coeliac.
Very satisfied with this stay at the Hotel du Nord in Longwy-haut.
No reception person, even being before the said departure time of the staff. Bathroom full of mold and paint on the wall that was falling apart. Bed frame with signs of wear. No response to the phone number given in the email to complain. Leaving the hotel after not even 1 hour after arrival. Hotel not recommended.
One night stay. Impeccable welcome and attentive staff. Spacious, clean and quiet room.
