Nice and well located hotel, very comfortable room on the 3rd floor with a view of the Lot. However, it would be necessary to refresh the paint and carpet which are showing signs of "fatigue".

Hello, 1) Expansion noises on the heating pipes. 2) Room 6, above the restaurant, incessant noises until the end of service and tidying up (11:45 p.m.). 3) Noisy room, waiting for the neighbors. 4) Forced to put on noise-canceling headphones to try to fall asleep. 5) Surprise in the bathroom at 1:30 a.m. on the way to the toilet, I met a cockroach on the floor. At the restaurant: 1) I ordered a duck confit with porcini mushroom sauce. - The confit was too dry - The porcini mushroom sauce with canned porcini mushrooms. - There were not only porcini mushrooms as mushrooms. I thank the chef for listening to my comments, I was given a gift (Veal with forest sauce) I would like to point out that the crème brûlée was delicious, as the always smiling waitress had told me.

A good town hotel

The Chartreuse occupies an enviable position on the riverside, away from the main road.
The staff are excellent.
Our room had a balcony with a beautiful river view.
The room itself was comfortable, although somewhat dated.
We enjoyed a superb meal in the deservedly busy restaurant.

I took the precaution of calling to have a room with a shower, on arrival! Bath so my being a PRM person I had to wash it in front of the sink.

Overall good + A little surprised to see the heating on, it was very hot in the room. Note that we were able to lower the temperature with the thermostatic taps, it's good. Beautiful view of the Lot. A revision of the cupboard doors and especially the bathroom would be useful (CH 5) They rub a lot. We also had dinner at the restaurant, very good value for money. Finally, the bicycle garage is very practical. Overall, a good experience. Thank you.

The restaurant is delicious and welcoming. The breakfast is great and plentiful. I enjoyed the vegetable yogurts and soy milk as well as the gluten-free bread that I had requested when I booked. Dirty room. Dirty floor, dusty lights and window frames. Moldy bathroom. Everything needs redecoration. Lights falling off walls or not working in public areas.

We have visited several times, we like the location and the restaurant. The motorway access is convenient and the town pleasant.

We are second time in this Hotel and a bit disappointed. The room and hotel itself was a bit dirty.
Quality of food in the restaurant also went down. Stuff (young ladies) in the restaurant a bit agressive and show that to you. Moreover, they also make mistakes in bringing the dishes and drinks. When I asked a glass of white wine, she brought beer to me. After, when I explained that I need just a glass of white wine, she brought sweet dessert wine instead of Sec.
Confit and wegetables on the table were not baked as had to be, but just heated up in the Microgolf. We are Owners of Reestaurant for 15 years and know that in the oven temerature is much less than from microgolf. People at other tables had the same problem as we are. Delivery of the dishes were also too fast. No interval between starters and main dish. So, - disappointed. We planned to stay a night with dinner on the way back in 2 weeks, but now thinking to find other place....

A few steps from the medieval city (5-7 minutes), reachable on foot, and ample free parking. Quiet and truly suggestive location. Even though I did not choose the room with a view of the river, I was able to enjoy the beauty of the panorama from a long terrace on the river where breakfast is served. The carpet is a negative note, but the room, recently renovated with a bathroom, is clean and has a very comfortable bed. The pool is little more than a tub, but that was not the reason for the stay. Very helpful and professional staff. Good value for money. I suggest trying the restaurant, excellent traditional dishes enjoyed on the panoramic terrace.

Outdated hotel, outdated hallway carpet, basic quality linen. You are in an establishment where everything is average. The quality of a well-known chain hotel on the edge of the highway, first class type... for double the price. And the restaurant... A disaster.

The location of the hotel is perfect and the terrace of the restaurant on the water's edge is fantastic, the catering is of quality, the swimming pool is also very appreciable. The rooms although a little old are comfortable. a very good quality/price ratio.

A lovely, very clean hotel and an excellent restaurant on the banks of the Lot with great kindness from all the people who work there. In more detail, before coming, I had read, among many positive reviews, negative comments about the rooms (there are always people who are never happy!). Trying to be factual, it is true that you can see a few black marks above the shower, a little humidity over time no doubt. We imagine that the rooms have been redone, the bar and restaurant area too, but not yet the corridors and bathrooms. OK, it would be good for the hotel to think about these few works (maybe it is already in the budget?). But frankly, I had a great evening on the banks of the Lot, I ate well, I slept well, the breakfast was very good and everyone very nice for a fair price. No hesitation, you can go there with your eyes closed! And a private joke for the restaurant server who might recognize himself if he reads these lines: a starter in English is called "starter" and not "entry" ;-)

we are more than delighted with our stay in this establishment, we had booked a room with a view of the Lot, with a very pleasant balcony, the kindness of the staff, whether at reception, the maintenance staff, that of the restaurant, frankly super pleasant, smiling. and the restaurant, we dined three evenings, a very good table, we feasted on fresh and regional products. Little plus the swimming pool open until 9 p.m. small problem with the wifi connection, which does not work in the room, only reception, terrace and restaurant.

This is located in a pricey environment and the restaurant is located in the Lot River. The food of the fantastic card, the desayuno very complete with these areas of the zone, which hace that it is original. The comfortable accommodation, the bedroom very clean and very comfortable, with ergonomic cushioning. The personal is very correct, the way to live a job that has my language and my language is very comfortable 🙂

Very good hotel restaurant on the banks of the Lot

This is the second time we have used this hotel. It is an easy hotel to access when travelling through. Parking across the road. Good value with perfectly adequate accommodation on side of hotel facing away from the river. Enjoy being able to sit outside by the river for breakfast and dinner. Can walk across the bridge to access the old town of Cahors.

Disappointing! We had booked a twin room with a view of the river and we had seen that these rooms had a small terrace, but it was a not very big room with a simple window quite small and without a view (trees) that was assigned to us, without the possibility of changing to what was planned... The rest was ok, swimming pool and terrace for breakfast pleasant.

The hotel is quiet and well located. The swimming pool is pleasant after a day of sightseeing.

Terrasse ist schön, die Lage ist gut, das Frühstück lecker. Enttäuschend war das Zimmer. You will see it in the current time, you will see it again and again in the atmosphere. Es war uns nicht wohl da. Die 2 Einzelbetten waren extrem schmal und weich, wir haben kaum geschlafen. Die WC- Spülung war laut.

Very welcoming and pleasant hotel

I already knew the city of CAHORS so was aware of its beauty but also was the leery of driving in the old city. This hotel gave me the best of both worlds being within easy walking distance of the city but providing excellent parking. The hotel was basic but very comfortable and the staff were wonderful. We already knew the "Logis de France" system (now renamed) so we expected a superior restaurant service but our expectations were easily exceeded. The setting of the hotel with the terrace over the river Lot was a real bonus The quality of the staff was underlined by the one exception, the young table waitress who patently had had some personal problem and just didn't want to be there. The other restaurant and reception staff more than compensated and we had a great stay.

The hotel is very good overall with modern equipment. It is clean and very welcoming. The only downside is the soundproofing between the rooms which is very light. The passage of the pipes in the only bath which are visible also generates a loud crash of falling water. Furthermore, it's a shame that there is only one type of bread at breakfast. A seeded or Nordic bread would have been welcome. Other than that it was very good.

The terrace on the lot, the bar, the reception open all the time are good assets as well as the swimming pool. On the other hand, the room is not very pleasant (view of the turbines) and the bathroom is very dated (black shower joints). But the hotel is well located, it has advantages but the rooms remain the downside.

The rooms overlooking the Lot are nice. The whole thing deserves a little renovation (if only to prevent the air conditioning from blowing on the bed at night unless you turn it off...) but despite everything we appreciated the welcome, the size of the room, and especially the restaurant. Top staff (including a lovely manager) and the dishes are plentiful and excellent. We are only 5-10 minutes from the historic center. (Personally I don't like spiders and there are many webs on the chairs and under the tables on the restaurant terrace)

Very old hotel except for the catering part. Unrenovated rooms, cracked ceiling, average carpet, damaged furniture on the sides, not soundproofed, you can hear the neighbor in his toilet...!! In short, very disappointed by the well-being announced! Not worth the price and the stars

VERY PLEASANT STAY PERFECT WELCOME HEAVY BREAKFAST SUCCULENT DINNER COMFORTABLE ROOM BRAVO FOR THE WHOLE TEAM

When I arrived, for 5 nights, I immediately asked to change rooms, response "full" until Sunday, asked again the next day, "answer we will try". Totally nothing was done. Double bed, therefore room for 2 people - Impossible to open the wardrobe door because the bedside table prevents it, wardrobe with 5/6 hangers no shelf that can accommodate underwear, socks or folded shirts. Desk with chair impossible to sit down because the bed legs interfere with sitting. Impossible to leave the suitcase open because the suitcase support is very narrow. Bathroom - no shelf above the sink just a cupboard under the sink, so for each use you have to bend to collect foam - tube of toothpaste - toothbrush - perfume - On the invoice it mentions "room with a view of the city" I would rather say "view of the parking lot" - The last day of my stay, I noticed that on the plan my room was the smallest on the entire floor and I think that with 5 nights - the service could have provided us with a different quality of stay - I'm trying to imagine this room occupied by two people!!!!! - I have at your disposal the photos which confirm my statements. As for catering, nothing to say.

For the evening dinner: impeccable! And thanks to the good advice of the waitress (Aurore) But bad rating for the PDJ at 12€; At this price I was expecting a hot/cold buffet. But nothing hot is offered, not even a boiled egg.

Friendly staff

This is a superbly located hotel on the banks of the Lot with views across to the old town. The public areas have been nicely renovated but the bedrooms are small and feel like they haven't been touched since the 1980s. This hospitality is compensated for by the quality and friendliness of all the staff but in particular the maitre 'D and the ever-smiling reception staff.

Despite its pretty name, the hotel is a standard establishment which fulfills its role well. Nothing extraordinary but very reasonable for the price.

Very good restaurant. Pleasant terrace on the Lot. The view from the room at 88€ overlooking the parking lot and the roof terrace with the air conditioners is ugly. Perhaps the roof terrace and the parking lot should be greened. The furniture in the room has needs to be renovated. The bed on the other hand was very comfortable.

Very happy with our stay. Hotel truly pet friendly. Room good size and bathroom well laid out (shame still has a bath rather than a shower). A room where the noise of the kitchens reached us very late as well as that of very early travelers (6:15 a.m.) in the corridor. Ask for a quiet room. Otherwise good breakfast, variety of choices. Clean, pleasant staff.

I paid 83 euros with a view of a courtyard and the air conditioner units, a clean shower but whose joints deserve cleaning. mosquito bodies stuck to the ceiling, the room was large, the beds comfortable and access to canal plus.

The location next to the river was lovely as was the view from our room. The restaurant in the warmer weather will be perfect eating alongside the river. We ate indoors which was fine with excellent, and very reasonably priced, food and very good service.

The welcome is very good, pleasant and attentive, caring staff. The rooms are a little dated although large and good bedding, bad smell in the bathroom and water leak on the floor in a closet in the room, travel bag found soaked! Soggy carpet on the floor! inevitably causes the odors observed why we in 48 hours I detect it and report it, odors which set in are not immediate, clearly a lack of follow-up. That said, we are satisfied with the place, I am warning more out of kindness to avoid other travelers making a fuss and complaints, which would be a shame given the pleasant side of the people who work there.

Great staff and great restaurant! Our room with a view of the river was just right and the bed was probably the most comfortable hotel bed we have slept on. Just one improvement would be that the management ensured a far better WiFi connection as we were unable to access. When needing to work online, this is an essential these days.

Some rooms look out onto the river. Clean, comfortable beds. No kettle in rooms for hot drinks. Fridge and good heating. Basically all the hotel side could do with a renovation to same standard as restaurant. Good parking. WiFi worked well

Everything went well until the settlement. The hotel did not take the voucher purchased from our CE. We had to settle differently despite our insistence.

Disappointed with the room for 4 people, we didn't expect a sofa bed in the second bed. No bedside table, no lamp for this second bed or sockets. Neither

All was excellent though just a few irritants - the Wi-Fi connection didn't work in our room and was slow in the foyer, the towels were small and the shower head needed decalcification to ensure better spread of water flow.

Very poor stay! Dirty room, cramped bathroom without VMC so mold shower tray from another time and dirty. No sound insulation. You might as well book a B&B… more quality. To flee.

The valintine meal was not up to last years, in fact one of the courses was part not edable it was like it contained a plastic ball, the rest was alright. I booked for an evening meal on the 14th and 15th. 14th OK but shoved out of the way, 15th no booking listed and your staff had to rearrange a table for us, but halfway through our meal a bunch of 8 rouwdy men sat at the next table, so we did not bother with a desert or coffee and left. A shame as last year was great but we will not be back next year! You also refused to give us the ETIC discount as we had NEVER been supplied with a card, I gave you my number but was still refused. Not the way to get return customers or good tripadviser report. Your head office were not of any use in fact insulting reply.

Basic hotel, welcome was brie and direct. However the receipt man never requested a card for payment on check in and I had presumed as I usually pay for all hotels before I travel, but not in this case which caused an embarrassing departure on my part. Parking on site - superb.

It's simple. The customer does not exist. No worries about him. You arrive for breakfast in a room where no one welcomes you. There is a pretty table overlooking the river, completely free but with trays not cleared. The person is busy in the dining room for lunch. This is much more important than taking care of customers. The relationship at reception is cold, indifferent. You are not a person, you are a credit card. I pass the work at 10 o'clock in front of the bedroom door. In short, don't even go there for free.

Great discovery, hotel reception and impeccable restaurant service, the staff is very friendly and attentive. The room and bathroom are aging but the main thing is that they are very clean. Just a shame for the planet and the profitability of the night that our wish not to change the towels was not respected. We will come back with pleasure.

We arrived on December 17 and received a very friendly welcome. the person immediately showed us our room which had been prepared to perfection. and upon our request this person told us how to reach the city center by providing us with a map that she had annotated. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant. We found the dishes we chose delicious and very well prepared. The people who were at the service advised us perfectly in our choices with great kindness. Moreover, generally speaking, the staff showed a lot of availability and kindness. I totally recommend this establishment.

Room of good size and clean, but catastrophic soundproofing: located above the restaurant room, the noise of the tables and chairs which are constantly moved until midnight or from 7:30 a.m. in the morning, the doors slamming in the corridors.... and the various noises from the neighbors in your room will liven up your nights. catastrophic... Bathroom correct, nothing more. Impossible to sit on the toilet without having your feet in the radiator. Very average breakfast. Undrinkable coffee and dry industrial pastries. Too bad, because the staff is friendly, the location is very good and nothing to say about the cleanliness. OK restaurant, the dishes are good, but the side dishes are not hot enough...

Very well located, the breakfast room is very pleasant with a view of the River, the room also has a balcony, the restaurant is very good, the welcome is very friendly, the only fault is the bathroom corridor facilities need to be redone, a little outdated…. It lacks a touch of new, but the bed is comfortable and the rooms are very quiet.

It's been 4 times since we stayed in this hotel and we are always satisfied with the quality of the bed; the view of the lot with balcony; close to the city center on foot or by free shuttle and finally very good quality catering.

A sweet stopover for my husband and I who were coming from the Landes: we enjoyed the succulent dishes, the remarkable Cahors wine and the fast and friendly service then we immersed ourselves in the white cloud of impeccable bedding; we recommend !

Correct rooms. Staff: smile forbidden? Table reservation not communicated. Half-empty restaurant, full of service people, but no more words than what is strictly necessary. Food served with speed. Put down your table for a moment and immediately: are you finished? The food was still excellent! But the attention of the staff really spoiled our evening. Cherry on the cake: no WiFi connection, receptionist's comment: must be a connection fault, I'll look later.

I had requested a shower as a priority, not for the disabled? Shower head too low at the maximum, sink too low and rusty drain it looks dirty. A little noisy. Was expecting better for a 3 ***. Good bedding.

too long to write but disappointed not to have a room on the river side. There were some available. All they had to do was tell me the price. It was up to me to choose the price I wanted to pay. The fridge was broken in my room. arrogant receptionist, breakfast employee who absolutely wanted me to take a table where she wanted, despite the fact that I repeated to her that I had seen the tables but that I preferred the one where I was seated. Young girls who served dinner, very helpful and available despite being overwhelmed

From the outside of the hotel you can't imagine the great amenities inside! Bravo for the welcome, decoration and especially the restaurant by the river. Perfect location for visiting the city. Breakfast remains a little expensive.

Our room was modern and well equipped. A fridge is welcome when you're on a long trip. The little balcony with a view of the river was lovely. The exterior is downright ugly, but the rest made up for it.

Perfect location to explore Cahors. Good information provided by reception. Parking is free and very safe. Excellent evening meals - menu and presentation very good - clearly a good chef here! Room clean and comfortable but rather small yet manageable even though air con not functioning. Bar Terrace overlooks the river.

The hotel is showing signs of wear and tear. Big flu was we were on the 3rd floor and could not receive the internet. Ok in the lobby but disappeared by the room. The fridge was turned to 7, so our drinks froze. Should have a guest safe for the room.

Renovated hotel. Beautiful view of the Lot. The restaurant is quality, but uneven. The first evening, great, but the second, much smaller portions, overcooked meat (both for the duck and for the veal) and yet the cooking request had been made. No follow-up of customers with inexperienced and not open waitresses. When I spoke about it at reception they told me that I would have to check with the restaurant…. In short, it's average for this point!

Nice hotel once inside - we had room overlooking the river. Quiet night in the hotel, although it was busy, and got a good nights sleep. We had pleasant walk via the medieval bridge into town and found a good restaurant. All in all - a good stay for a night on a road trip

At first sight, hotel well placed on the banks of the Lot, easy to access, beautiful terrace on the Lot for breakfast. But very average dated room, and bathroom cramped and not clean. At the beginning of the night, 10 minutes of noise (probably end of restaurant service, and tidying up of the room just below). We will not return to this address.

Start of a walk along the Tarn from the hotel, perfect for walking the dogs.

The hotel is located at the river close to the city center. The hotel has a good restaurant, breakfast buffet and terrace. The rooms are spacious with excellent beds. The swimming pool is nice.

Impeccable room and bedding, but the bathroom left something to be desired with cracked toilet tile and seat and the VMC not on top some odors. Catering service and quality of food good, but too many extras on the menu which make the bill soar.

Room a bit dated, but ok. This small "inconvenience" is very largely compensated by the quality of the reception and the services. The meal in the hotel restaurant is a must, we were extremely surprised by the quality of the meals for the relatively democratic price.

Friendliness of all the staff from reception through to the waiting staff. Some of which spoke very good English. Aircon was great even though the weather was raining during our stay the heat was there trapped under the clouds. Pool area was lovely. Dinner on the terrace was good quality we are twice in the restaurant and it was always busy with locals and staying guests. It's wise to book a table if considering this. The Local wines in the restaurant which were recommended to us were not cheap however they were lovely. We didn't take breakfast. There was a fridge in room was unexpected but very welcome. The walk into town takes around 10 mins. We walked everyday. It's worth going over the historic bridge it takes longer but views over the river LOT are stunning.

VERY PLEASANT

We were hoping for a little "more" for this hotel classified as "Elegance". The small refrigerator is the only equipment in the room: no kettle, no box of tissues. And no small bottle of water offered... fortunately, tap water being undrinkable because of storms, the municipality had made bottles available... which had to be demanded insistently: 1 liter and half a day per room. When we asked where we could recharge the battery of our bike, the hostess replied that there were power outlets in the street... This is the first time in several years that we traveling by bicycle, that a hotel cannot find a technical room, a room, etc., equipped with a power outlet and able to accommodate a bicycle. We are far from your slogan: "...an invitation to a world of harmony and refinement, where your hosts will shower you with attention." We couldn't leave our €4000 bike unattended in front of the hotel so had to stand by while the battery charged. Fortunately, an understanding employee finally understood the problem and kindly made a room available. Otherwise, pleasant hotel, quiet, well located, with a terrace allowing meals on the banks of the Lot, the breakfast is complete and hearty. The bedding is comfortable, the bathroom decent. The staff is pleasant, smiling, some are more helpful. A closed garage but without power outlet allows you to put your bikes in the shelter.

Very nice home. Clean hotel, friendly staff. Two downsides: view of the hill is rather view of the parking lot and the air conditioning of the room which is a bit noisy. Perfect buffet breakfast.

I'm not sure that I would recommend this establishment, difficulty for me to answer between "correct and good" because of the bathroom which needs a makeover, mold ++++ on the ventilation plate at the bottom of the shower, cracks in the paint still in the bathroom. I think some people could have fled... Sober room, even good, even if the view of the terrace with lots of air conditioning pipes top but good ... for only one night ... The staircase and hallway carpet has also lived well.

The stay was perfect, the location, the cleanliness, the staff. Impeccable, I would recommend to those around me.

This is my favorite hotel in the region that I particularly like. We have been here four times and everything is perfect! The rooms are clean and comfortable. And if you have the possibility, take a room on the river side, it's just magnificent both in the morning and in the evening with the reflection of the lights in the water. A big crush on the restaurant!! The dishes offered are delicious 🤤 with quality ingredients. Congratulations to the chef it must be said!! Thank you to the patient young women who serve us at the table! You are adorable 🥰 Thank you very much to the young woman at the reception who changed our room following a little flush problem in the bathroom. So we stayed in room 38 which is great! We will be back very soon for sure!! I recommend this hotel and its catering 100% PS: do not hesitate to ask for soy milk at breakfast for lactose intolerant people like me).

Our air conditioning didn't work and we were on the first floor with a baby, so it was impossible to leave the window open at night. We had to change rooms at 11 p.m. on the second floor, an equivalent room, but again the air conditioning did not work .... So we had to sleep with the window open (possible on the second floor because the intrusion through the window was less rsuquée only on the first floor) but it is a pity given the price of the room not to have been able to benefit from this comfort. However, we thank the gentleman who took care of us at this late hour and tried as best he could to solve the problem. Apart from that, with an 18 month old baby we were able to have all the necessary equipment: changing mat, bottle warmer, and umbrella place on request. It is convenient.

Hotel was overbooked. First we got a room of about 9 square meters. Air conditioning was broken. Unbearable. There was literally no air to breathe. After our complaint we togen to a larger room, were even willing to pay the extra, and ended up in a junk room. Cheapest plastic chairs, a folded emergency bed, a mattress that was rented out, a grubby closet with a thick sewage pipe running through it. As an apology they then waived the extra charge and didn't charge for breakfast. But that didn't help us. It's not about money. Our time in Cahor was pretty much uncomfortable. It's not nice to come into a room after an activity that makes you shudder. By the way, we came to this 'hotel' by no means unexpectedly, we had already booked at the end of 2022

The hotel is well located and parking is available for guests. The view of the lot is nice. However, the rooms need updating, especially the bathroom.

The setting is green and very pleasant. Perfect location 2 steps from the center on foot while being quiet. I also appreciated the free parking. Excellent bedding. I also liked the small terrace in the room. The breakfast is very varied, excellent and the dining room offers a calm and soothing atmosphere. Everything was perfect.
