A pleasant surprise during my business trip. This beautiful home is full of charm, cleanliness, a beautiful bathroom, and a comfortable bed. The meal tray offered by the owner is not just any meal, but a truly good, complete, high-quality, homemade meal. I'll be back on my next visit, well done.

This is a lovely place to stay. Despite being very close to Le Mans it is in a tranquil setting and the accommodation very comfortable, in a historic building. The breakfast is wonderful, with a plentiful range of choices.

Atypical charming residence. Very good bedding. The meal tray as well as the breakfast were of very good quality and plentiful. I highly recommend.

Great environment but difficult to find

This is a wonderful small family hotel set in its own grounds in an ideal position for the North/ South ~Traveller, especially with Pets. It is run by a Mother and son team who welcomed us and looked after us incredibly well. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a wide variety of themes and bed arrangements. The breakfast was lovely with a wide range of foods on offer.
The only small downside to the hotel is that it doesn't cater for an evening meal. However the owners booked us a table at a local restaurant, 10 minutes drive away which was fine.
We would thoroughly recommend this hotel to all travellers.

Domaine du Chatenay is fast becoming a home from home for me and my dog Juniper. It is our preferred stopover en route from the UK to the Pyrenees and back and never disappoints. Beautiful tranquil environment, friendly welcome, delightful room and wonderful walks for Juniper. She is so excited when she arrives as she recognises where she is. Thank you for making our stopover something to look forward to. And thank you for a superb breakfast this morning. I can’t recommend highly enough.

Beautiful historic hotel family run and owned since 1914. Lovely grounds and artworks. Rooms very comfortable and stylish.

Lost in lush nature, this beautiful residence is a nest of happiness. A warm welcome awaits you there and you will only be disturbed by the singing of birds and the croaking of frogs 🐸.

Hello The problem is that from now on because of ecology the more you pay the less services you have (liquid soap, shampoo, bottled water)

The hotel is in a quiet and pastoral area. The team is superb.

Pleasant welcome, magnificent setting, hearty breakfast "like at home". A small flat however on the size of the rooms, a little small and on the bedding which is not very comfortable. A good memory and an address to remember however.

I love this hotel! It's a quaint, peaceful and welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of life. I have stayed twice now, en route to the UK. The first time with my husband and most recently just me and my dog. We were made to feel so welcome. The room was elegant, airy, clean and fresh. The bed comfortable and the silence calming. The hotel decor is a delight throughout and breakfast was taken in a beautiful room filled with quirky art and antiques. The grounds are expansive and perfect for dog walking. Thank you to Domaine de Chatenay for a lovely rest within the charms of your residence.

A perfect place to stay in a quiet, green setting, in a very beautiful 18th century residence. The rooms are large and very clean, the beds comfortable and you feel like you've traveled back in time. If we are lovers of castles, we are satisfied! The welcome was warm. By the owner and by the lady who now assists her, very kind. Very good breakfast buffet. I highly recommend.

Quiet, pleasant area very close to Le Mans. We appreciated the calm of the estate, very close to the city of Le Mans. Hosts available and kind, who ensure your comfort. I highly recommend.
