welcoming staff, pleasant room

Having known this establishment for several years, I am forced to note a deterioration in the service, the maintenance of the rooms and especially the catering which must make a big effort to reassure its customers. For me, we are no longer in the Logis de France ethic

Very nice hotel, very very comfortable bedding, impeccable cleanliness, however we were disappointed by the sauna, not by its cleanliness but by its operation, it worked for no more than 10 minutes and the breakfast was average for the price, not enough choice and quality products, too bad, otherwise the rest is very very good, very welcoming staff

For me the price is not worth the quality of the stay. It is still a bit expensive especially if the jacuzzi breaks down the day before our arrival. It could have changed the situation with a jacuzzi 😉

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Le Comté d'Hornon in Gradignan during my business trip, and I can only recommend this establishment. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the staff, who made my stay most enjoyable. The room was not only clean, but also beautifully decorated, providing the perfect setting to relax after a busy day. Every detail has been thought of to ensure the comfort of the guests. Breakfast was also a highlight of my stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and always available, ready to answer all my requests with a smile. The variety of choices offered was appreciable and started my days well. In summary, my experience at Le Comté d'Hornon was exceptional. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice and welcoming place to stay in Gradignan. I will not hesitate to return there on my future trips.

Good stay in a room with balcony. The room is clean and the staff is smiling. We have 2 remarks on our stay: - If you thought you would enjoy the restaurant and the bar, be careful they are closed on weekends even during the summer holidays, really a shame to have to take your car when you are settled for 2 days. - If you enjoy the spa, small downside there is nothing in the room to dry the swimsuit.

The booking system for this hotel leaves a lot to be desired. Despite entering the correct date for a stay, after a further question the website reverted our reservation to the NEXT night - wrong date wrong da.
Despite providing NOTHING and having plenty of empty rooms the hotel chose to charge us the full amount excl taxes.
French law says that that should not charge anything for giving nothing.
In extremis they might argue that if someone or two had been turned away . . . . then they might consider charging only for the PROFIT lost.
The Hotel was completely intransigent in their insistence that they charge the full amount.
The person who said they were the owner, declined to discuss the situation, even though her staff had stated that she spoke good English !

Hotel very well soundproofed in the rooms, rooms equipped with air conditioning. Very nice hotel inside. Small detail that was not announced to me via booking. Reservations on the site are a simple bank imprint, and not a final payment. Be careful, no kettle in the rooms, only a Krups machine for coffee, very welcoming staff. I recommend the establishment 200%.

A good experience but a little disappointing by the quality of the bed which had horses under the sheets and by the very precarious separation between the room and the bathroom/WC and on the fact of the reservation with access to the Spa was not not been possible lack of early reservation

The breakfast is not sufficiently provided when you see the price at €12.00, this price is too high.

It is the second year we have been going, the hotel is great, the girl who greeted us in the afternoon, upon our arrival, was super friendly and made an effort to make sure we could understand each other. The bed was very comfortable and the terrace was also great. Thank you!!!

I had made two reservations for 2 consecutive days, the 1st stage evening and the 2nd only overnight stay + breakfast. I had noted comments on my two reservations informing of my 2 consecutive days, therefore even for the 2 nights. I said this again when I arrived. The next morning I asked if OK for my nights in the same room, nothing happened. The 2nd evening, I wanted to close the window in my room when I arrived and surprise, the mechanism was defective. no troubleshooting solution, in the evening, I was invited outside the hotel, so I left with my PC and spent the night with a defective window. I would have liked a commercial gesture following this inconvenience. Since last year, when I come to Bordeaux, I always book at this hotel because it suited me. Disappointed with my last experience

It's a shame not to be able to enjoy the spa after 8 p.m. in order to be relaxed before going to bed. You no longer have to put 2 mattresses to make a bed for 2 people.

Hello, We were disappointed, by the catering 58€ the dishes were very disappointing. The southwest salad. Very light. Apart from the enormous quantity of bacon and little gizzard. The unripe tomatoes.. We come from the Landes and we were far from the southwest salad. Some taots of foie gras or even cheese with a few pine nuts would have been nice. My partner's burger was dry and much too simple for the price. The asparagus soup was excellent. The welcome was OK. The girls were very friendly. On the other hand, for 180€ we expected to have at least breakfast included. The spa was good quality and clean. The room and bathrooms were very clean.

Very pleasant accommodation with very friendly and accommodating staff, the fabulous buffet breakfast and the SPA perfectly completes the stay!

The staff is young but concerned about the well-being of its customers. The rooms are clean, with quality products (coffee, tea, water, sewing kit, nail care and cotton/cotton buds.) The spa is a plus and opens during extended hours. The jacuzzi was very hot but seems to have been a little worn out with jets that are not homogeneous and bubbles that are a little weak. The restaurant is practical, efficient and the price-quality ratio is very good. The breakfast is perfect.

I really like this accommodation. The staff is very pleasant. Quality catering. the rooms are clean. Small note: chocolate too sweet and coffee beans a little disappointing. I come back with pleasure when I travel to Bordeaux.

Very poor service as the restaurant was closed in the evening because there were "not enough" guests. Had to go to Intermarche to buy food to eat in our room!
Next morning at breakfast we counted 15 guests and 14 cars in the car park?

We came to have a good time with the SPA as a service! But we couldn't even take advantage of it because you have to make a reservation to go there and the lady didn't accept our reservation the day before for the morning supposedly saying "we don't take reservations for the next day to avoid forgetting last night." minutes” except that her colleague in the morning told us that she should have taken our reservation for the jacuzzi especially since we were there at night! A very disappointing stay and above all value for money not at all good! We do not recommend this hotel at all!

Beautiful hotel despite being positioned in an activity zone! The welcome is very professional, considerate and caring. The restaurant offers a menu and tasty dishes. The restaurant room is the same as the breakfast room and is a little austere. The hotel offers a spa/sauna service for a very modest fee for 1 hour. This is very useful for relaxing after a day of work. The room is comfortable and offers a courtesy tray (with only coffee - tea or infusion would be welcome). Every day a bottle of water is made available in the room.

We spent two nights at the hotel and shared a dinner. Very pleasant welcome, comfortable room even if the size is modest. Clean and functional bathroom. To consider passing the curtain to the dry cleaners soon... Too bad. The dinner was hearty and beautifully presented, a little more chocolate with the cannelés would have satisfied my sweet tooth! Sunday morning we witnessed an altercation with customers who were not very understanding and were rude to the young person at reception. Very uncomfortable for her who was obviously doing her best.

Family type hotel, very friendly welcome, decent room with a very tasteful design like the whole. Why a mixed review? The double bed is very comfortable but a little narrow and the overall cleanliness leaves something to be desired. In room 5 the bathroom ceiling is brownish, stained with moisture, the shower floor is slippery and the carpet is not always spotless, like in the corridors. These faults compensate for the pleasant garden and the calm environment!

The room was good but a problem with the shower which did not flow and which flooded the entire bathroom and part of the bedroom. We just had towels to mop up. Wake up around 9:30 a.m. by the maid. For young parents who were happy with their lie-in, not great. But that means we still sleep very well there.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise. Das Hotel liegt nah an der Autobahn. Das Check In schnell, unkompliziert und sehr freundlich. Wir haben Superior Zimmer mit Terrasse gebucht und waren sehr zufrieden. Abendessen im Restaurant war sehr gut. Genug Auswahl. Wir hatten das komplette Menü und es war sehr gut. Wir waren mit Hund im Hotel. Das Hotel ist sehr tierfreundlich. Very large and very comfortable room, however the bathroom has no shelf or piece of furniture to put your things on. There is only one type of lighting (not practical at night), the window that delimits the shower is too narrow and the bathroom is flooded with each shower (floor and door seal). Very good breakfast!

Room was a bit small but fine for an overnight stay whilst travelling. Staff very friendly and spoke good English. Shame the restaurant is closed at weekends but the cheese board was a good substitute.

Nice hotel, modern, very cocooning! Friendly welcome. Small point to improve: breakfast too expensive compared to what is offered and fresh bread would be a plus. We had taken 1 hour of SPA the sauna did not work but hey we did 1 hour of jacuzzi! A bottle of water would have been appreciated in this moment of relaxation.

The hotel is well located, accessible, modern. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The only thing that bothers me is for the stopover evening at €125, the menu is not complete either starter / main course or main course / dessert if you want starter / main course / dessert it is an extra €7 and supplements between €5 and €7 on fish for starters and main courses. I do not count the drinks it is normal that they are in supplements.

Rather tired rooms. No lifts or trolleys so luggage was an issue.
We’ve been touring for several weeks in France and found this hotel less value for money than others. Location is bland and the restaurant was also.
