Following a last-minute cancellation beyond our control, the owner refused to listen and made no commercial gesture (discount, credit note, etc.) and charged us 100% of the price of the two rooms, i.e. €188 thrown in the trash.

We spent two pleasant evenings and visited the castle 🏰 whose entrance is opposite. Parking accessible even with a 6-meter long van

Ideally located opposite the entrance to the castle, private parking is very useful in this very touristy place.

Excellent welcome, we were helped to carry our suitcases to the room. Very close to the Château. Room with a view of the Loire. Private parking nearby. We had a very good dinner and the quality of the breakfast is to be underlined.

Extraordinary in all

We have visited the hotel around 7 or more occasions and have found it always to be very comfortable and welcoming.The owners are extremely helpful and take great care of their customers. We have on each occasion been en-route usually to southern France and only stayed one night but on two occasions we have needed three double rooms/family rooms and they have obliged Parking there is excellent and very safe. Also the swimming pool is really great!

In the room, in the absence of air conditioning, a quiet fan would be necessary. Otherwise beautiful decor, professional and attentive welcome. The service is what we expect. The formula of a breakfast at 3 price levels is an appreciable solution with a quality breakfast. Airy restaurant atmosphere, spaced tables, elegant decoration with a very pleasant view of the garden and the Loire.

If you are staying during periods of extreme heat, note the absence of air conditioning in the restaurant. In the bedrooms (second floor under the roof) the device does not provide sufficient cooling.

very pretty and pleasant hotel, well placed for visits to the most popular castles and Beauval zoo, beautiful view of the Loire, for the rooms on the garden/pool side, very pleasant staff, communicative and attentive to customers, pretty room, bedding super comfortable, large, very clean swimming pool (a big plus especially with the current temperatures!), hearty lunch even for the traditional one at 9€ and tasty dinner in the evening for 29.50€, a quality/price ratio rarely seen or even at all. everything in the surrounding 3-star hotels. the only small downside: no air conditioning! but fans and bottled water are available (and the current temperature is quite exceptional all the same). very happy with our stay, we will come back without problem.

The Hotel was excellent - good rooms, General ambiance was excellent. Quality of our dinner was superb and breakfast very satisfying. This is probably our 6 or 7th visit to the Hotel and we would be very happy to go again next year.

Good welcome and good stay in this very well located hotel opposite the Chateau. Just one street to cross! Hearty breakfast available in three versions at different costs (traditional or complete or continental) which must be specified in advance. There is therefore no all-you-can-eat buffet. We get served. The very comfortable and very large bed is in a room where we regretted a faulty VMC oppressing us during the night and forcing us to open a window overlooking the very noisy street (presence of a traffic light). I say VMC and not air conditioning since the room only has a fan. The outside temperature was completely bearable and did not require air conditioning. I reported this inconvenience of VMC to reception. There is private parking quite close to the hotel in a side street.

Old-fashioned hotel with warm decor. Excellent location, 2 steps from the Loire and opposite the entrance to the castle. We appreciated the large double bedroom and the pretty garden. We were traveling by bike with two small children and the hosts were very accommodating (especially for meals for the little ones). We got this room at the last minute. the welcome was warm! Very nice information and a secure parking space. For people with disabilities: there is no lift. But the stairs are not too steep. There is no walk in shower. It is a bathtub.
