A hotel ideally located for a stopover on the way to the Loire Valley. The welcome is warm, the rooms very comfortable and the restaurant of high quality.

Booked for our last evening in France following a week of touring. Selected on the basis of the Gourmand restaurant. We are informed, 12 hours before arrival, that the restaurant is closed for the holidays and that reception will be unattended. At this time, it is too late to cancel without losing the total cost of the stay. At no stage during the booking process were we informed that the restaurant was closed. A bad end to our delightful holiday saved only by the superb couscous at the nearby hotel Au Coin!

Special mention on the restoration after the flood of October 11: congratulations for the work, if I had not been told, I would not have noticed. I liked the dinner, "bistro" type. Honestly, I will come back. Good luck!

My rating reflects 2 things: - a non-confit duck confit (so not soft at all) that I should have sent back, and, that day a large wedding table in the next room that gave a really loud ambient noise. I was far from the quiet hotel that I had hoped for... On the positive side, very good welcome and service.

A clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Booked on the fact that it had an impressive in-house restaurant. After booking were asked if we wanted breakfast and dinner to which we replied yes to both. The hotel’s response was that the restaurant was closed for our (already confirmed) date. Why ask then? Had we been advised when booking that an evening meal would not be possible, we would not have booked this hotel.

A lovely hotel situated in the centre of Cloyes-sur-loir. Ideal centre for water sports, walking and cycling.

It was a memorable stay with excellent restaurant food, dinner and breakfast, a very quiet location and lovely room. Staff were friendly and helpful.
We will definitely visit again.

Room 19 very dark and humid (rubson dehumidifier placed on the floor full of water). No wifi. This room should not be offered.

The hotel has plenty of character. Many of the original features of the old building remain, but the interior is modern, spotless and nicely decorated. The garden stretching down to the river Loir is delightful with several wonderful mature trees.
The bedroom was clean and comfortable with a comfortable bed and separate toilet and bathroom. The shower was good, but had to be hand held. No kettle provided, so English guest should bring their own travel kettle!
The restaurant and evening meal were outstanding. One of the best restaurant meals we have had in France

The entire hotel the evening I arrived was very quiet. The setting is pleasant, the staff friendly and the room spotless. The dinner included in the price was very good and I didn't expect to have so much choice. The only negative point: it was up to me to turn on the heating in the bathroom and turn it up in the bedroom, it was better in the hallway!

We were in a period when the hotel was partially closed so for example no access to the bar for the rest everything was perfect

Jean Pierre was outstanding in his helpfulness. With our lack of language skills he absolutely took care of us in arranging our next stop. Went above and beyond. Room and meal slap were perfect.

Good hotel and restaurant but areas for improvement need to be implemented: cleanliness of the room (black mark on the wall and spider web, too hot in the room, 2nd floor) bathroom (toilet not clean and bathtub not practical) Team tense and lack of joviality.

Only points -: restaurant (excellent by the way) closed Sunday and Monday evening; no tsto open in the village and around; we were there in a heatwave and sleeping at ~26°C was difficult.

I am delighted with my stay for 1 night. Very comfortable bedding, well-equipped room served by lift. Only downside an air conditioning or a fan would have been useful for the hot weather. Impeccable bathroom giving confidence.

Very nice hotel with quality services. Only negative points: No air conditioning in the rooms although the pictogram is on the Logis guide. In the bathroom, there is no towel rack, just a hook on the door. The restaurant is perfect.

The hotel is in a great location in the centre of town and has convenient parking at the rear. It has a pleasant garden and is a short walk from a lovely park. Check in was simple. The rooms were clean, bright and well presented. We found the room to be too warm, though it was August. Air conditioning would be a welcome addition. Breakfast was plentiful and well presented. Overall we were very satisfied and would stay again.

Good -
The hotel has been nicely refurbished. We really liked our room and the en-suite bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty and had a good selection of foods. The female waiting staff was very friendly and forthcoming. On-site parking for motorcycles was a big bonus.

Not so good -
On Booking.com the hotel was advertised with a restaurant. After we had placed the reservation (non-refundable!) we were initially asked by the management if we want also breakfast and a table reservation for dinner. However, in a follow up message they made us aware that the restaurant was actually closed this week due to holidays. We then enquired if there was another restaurant within walking distance. We were made aware, that the closest restaurant was about a 10 minute drive. This was very disappointing to hear as we did not indent to go on the road again after an 8 hours bike ride.
Furthermore, the management did not inform us that the main access road to the hotel was barricaded due to a market/festival in town. Rather strangely already at our check-in, we were asked to settle the bill for the room & breakfast straightaway. Very odd and not like any other Logis hotels we stayed over during our travels.
In the end we found a Pizza takeaway to avoid a hungry night. Not a great experience despite the good pizza!

No one on site after 6.30pm. room had odd smell and the window opposite a green emergency exit that flashed every 3 secs all through the night so we had no sleep. We chose the hotel because of the restaurant facility. When we booked we were asked if we require a table, we confirmed we did but the morning of your arrival were messaged to say the restaurant was closed for the holiday.
We only stayed one night because of the poor facilities and room location.

Very nice property with free parking. Very nice dining room with a unique menu for dinner with good value for money Spacious room well equipped and well decorated, very clean, comfortable bedding. (Just a 2nd pillow would have been welcome and a 2nd small towel) Perfectly soundproofed room, very quiet. Very pleasant welcome and good breakfast with quality products.

Reception: the manager asks far too many questions, "to get to know each other": where we come from, if we are going away for the weekend... At the level of the room: I had asked for a blanket instead of the duvet . The blanket was on the bed, but no sheet! At 9 o'clock in the evening we had to look for a sheet at the reception and make our bed ourselves. For 107 Euros and a 3 star it's a bit much!!! We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past, and without encountering this kind of problem, but this may be the last time.
