This is an excellent hotel just 5 mins from the A71 just south of Orleans. Comfortable, clean, large rooms and an excellent restaurant.

Arrived very late and still had warm food. Nice people and a good stay. Close by (800m) a charging station for our electric car. Shower in the bathroom could be a bit better. Made for French height. Not for tall Dutch guests

The evening meal was exceptional, and I will remember it for many years, this is French cuisine at its finest, no house wine though.
Everything was very professional and efficient, we had driven passed this hotel for many years and this was the first time we stayed there. The town was just a short walk away, with a Carrefour shop and filling station just down the road.

Very nice room , well laid out. It has usb plugs and several sockets to plug in our electrics. There were nice walks around the town too.

Rooms are well equipped, ample parking.
Restaurant is fabulous, any allergies or intolerances they can work round.

Our second stay on the way in the south. A larger space with balcony. Very good dinner and a good breakfast.

There is no air conditioning in the rooms

Comfortable rooms - love the new decoration and improvements. Dinner and breakfast good. On the route south avoiding motorways. Near to Orleans. Will continue to stay here on our journey through France!

The hotel is very nice and very clean. The park is also very pleasant. I recommend room 8, spacious and bright with a nice bathroom. However, it would be necessary to add a blackout curtain because the only metal shutters currently let in the daylight very early.

Excellent stopover both in terms of friendliness and accommodation in a pretty park, and the quality of the dinner and breakfast.

Very nice hotel, super convenient for the motorway and close to a busy road yet this hotel is very tranquil and quiet overnight.

We thought the welcome, the comfort, the cleanliness, the room and to food were all excellent. It was also easy to exercise our dog locally. We will be very happy to recommend your hotel.

Well situated in beautiful park setting. Handy for stop off from A71. The room looked recently renovated to a high standard. Food in the restaurant for both evening meal and breakfast was very good. Having stayed at the hotel on three occasions I have always been well satisfied.

Great location, friendly welcome and the decor and furnishing in the room was of a high standard. A kettle in the room was very welcome, with just milk missing. Also, there were no complimentary bathroom products but apart from that I couldn't fault it. The restuarant food was delicious and we will definitely return.

The rooms are very nicely decorated, the bed is comfortable. The hotel is located in a beautiful garden. Everything is very well maintained. The kitchen has very good and high-quality products, but is a bit too classically presented for this time.

Lovely hotel

The hotel is well located for a stopover between the Channel Ports and the Dordogne. The rooms are comfortable and the cleanness is excellent.
We particularly enjoyed the meal in the restaurant and the breakfast .
There is plenty of space to park.

A good two-evening stopover stay. However two remarks, unique choice for dinners and not a single electrical outlet available in the room, nor at the desk, nor at the bedsides…

An easy to find and convenient location only five minutes off the autoroute. The building has retained some of its original 1930s? features and of special note is the wall panelling. There was a marble fireplace in our bedroom. It looked like the hotel has recently been redecorated but the carpets are yet to be replaced. The bedroom had plain decor, was large and comfortable but was cool rather than cold. On a wet and grey day a warm room would have been better. The wifi was just good enough.

The restaurant was good. We sat by the huge fireplace and roaring fire. The menu was interesting and the food well cooked and presented. The service was excellent. And all good value too, both room and food.

One improvement that must be made - the reception area and stairwell smelt strongly of cigarette smoke. Oh, and the hotel cat shot into our room when we opened the door to come down for dinner. Some may like this, we didn’t.

Lovely Hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Lovely lounge to sit in with a drink before diner. Restaurant food and wine was excellent and great service with advice on which wine with the appropriate course. Food quality and surroundings really wonder, comfortable rooms with large bathrooms. Proper nespresso coffee machine in the room, free parking and pet friendly.
This hotel is a real gem, could not ask for more.

Very pleasant welcome and staff, the hotel is a little dated in the common areas but the maintenance and meticulous cleaning make us forget the worn carpet in the corridors and the paint chips. On the other hand, the comfort of the rooms and the bedding is impeccable.

Excellent evening stopover. Warm place, friendly welcome and service, comfortable room with quality service but above all an excellent table for dinner and a good quality and copious breakfast. Remarkable cuisine (butternut soup with poached egg, truffade and Catalan cream). Very well cooked!

Second stay and everything was perfect as during our first stay The only fault, it is often full and you have to book in advance :-)

We had a 15 hour drive to get there. We were going to be to late to eat in the restaurant. We contacted the hotel and told them. They were insistent that we would be able to get a meal even though the restaurant would have finished serving. All the staff were absolutely wonderful.

Very welcoming. Genuine and friendly (also towards our dog). We had booked halfboard and were able to choose from the very varied menu. Excellent chef and very well presented. There is no air conditioning in the rooms but the celings are high and the room was well ventilated. We will certainly stay here again.

Easily accessible from the A71. Within 10 minutes at the hotel in Salbris via the exit of the same name. Beautiful appearance on the outside. Nice terrace. Interior could use a makeover. Old worn carpeting in the hallways and rooms. Rooms fine, tidy, dated bathroom clean and everything works. Biggest pluses are the location and the restaurant. Delicious menu, excellent preparation, enjoy! Half board formula for 2 persons in standard room approx. €200.

This was our third stay and was as lovely as the former two. It is a lovely hotel with pleasant park and a very convenient location if travelling by road. The staff are delightful and the atmosphere relaxed with a real family-run feel - exactly what we prefer when doing road trips around the world. It is now on our list of regular stopovers but I suspect it would also be a great base for exploring the Sologne.

The staff is very welcoming and available The large, spacious and well soundproofed room equipped with all amenities. Excellent catering despite a menu that is not very varied but which is a guarantee of quality products. A small appetizer accompanying the aperitif would be welcome The breakfast, just correct, deserves, given the price, to be improved. Overall worth a visit if this establishment is on your way.
