outstanding hotel with an outstanding restaurant!
We were able to book the ´´business stopover´´ rate as we were travelling as 2 singles so were very happy !
The accommodation is very good, the location is unique. The food served at the restaurant is
Outstanding. The breakfast is excellent.
Always a pleasure to come to this establishment
Superb quiet hotel. Very friendly staff. Very pleasant stay.
Unbeatable value for money Very spacious, clean and well decorated room Friendly and welcoming staff Hearty and refined meal with a view of the coast (+ winter lounge with side view upstairs) Incredible setting
I had a good 5 night stay at this hotel. Slept very well in peace and quiet. Fortunately it was March with fairly long nights because the curtains let the light through. Numerous usable power outlets, the desk well placed and of good size, large bedroom. The sea visible from the armchair, the bed or the desk, Very good. The ecological dimension is somewhat undermined by the quantity of water wasted to have hot water. And why replace the water bottle when it has barely been used. I ate all 5 days in the evening at the Bistro Le Rivage. The menu is varied and with the daily menu always off the menu, I was able to eat something different every evening. Thank you very much for the welcome. For certain dishes, the piece of beef or fish, I had the impression of having received the quantity from the children's menu. The breakfast lacks a little variety. No sweetener available, very fatty salty part (the ham only arrived on the fourth day). For this price, there is a little effort to be made. 10 meals with the same pieces of music, in the same order, you can't switch to a slightly more extensive playlist because it gets boring in the long run.
This review concerns the hotel only (not the restaurant)
Very well maintained, well received and very quiet
Everything perfect, even magnificent!!!! The TV screen is a little small on the other hand. Excellent menu. Very warm and welcoming staff.
Very welcoming staff with a smile upon our arrival. Very nice establishment with a small lounge with a fireplace to have a drink or sit down to plan your day and lounge upstairs to admire the sea view. A spa and treatments for those who want them. Very good breakfast with lots of choice and regional products as well as a very good bistronomic restaurant. Very well located facing the sea, beautiful walks nearby. Great discovery, we will come back.
Good meal and breakfast. Nice touch Champagne in room.
quiet hotel and positive welcome. Pleasant and friendly staff. excellent location. meal at the shore to improve: not in the quality of the meal which. It's very good but having several choices for the simplicity menu.
The WiFi quality is fair. The TV screen must have been standard in the 2010s...in the room I occupied. Everything else is perfect, the location, the welcome, the rooms... thank you for everything.
Location, view of the dunes and the exceptional sea.
Very pleasant
The hotel is very quiet. The staff was very friendly. Our sea view room with balcony was very nice. Clean and well furnished. Breakfast buffet was excellent.
The restoration is not up to par.
Excellent hotel for a stopover! Not far from Brest, quiet and direct access to the sea! As a traveling salesman, I appreciated this accommodation! A little more choice on the menu at no extra charge for stopover evenings would be a plus! Thank you to all the staff for the welcome and professionalism! Philip
This is a magnificent hotel. Our room was beautiful, modern, spacious and well-equipped. The reception was special, and remained special no matter who was on duty. The attention to detail in all looks fantastic. The views, the beaches, and the horses in the seaside pastures gave us great pleasure. We look forward very much to when we get to stay here again.
very nice establishment, in keeping with the location. Two restaurants, Le Rivage excellent and La Dune exceptional (a chef and a team to follow)
The hotel is very well located facing the dune and the sea, we had chosen an attic room on the 2nd floor, very spacious and benefiting from a beautiful terrace with a view of the dunes and the sea. The bedding is very comfortable. A kettle with soluble coffee and tea/herbal tea is at our disposal. The bathroom is not very big but functional, the toilets are separated. Only points to improve: the rather vintage curtains which do not allow complete darkness, and the position of the switches located too high, above the headboard. We had dinner at Le Rivage restaurant (the other starred restaurant that is closed on Sunday evenings), the decoration and the setting are also very pleasant. The service is pleasant but not 100% efficient, we had to ask for the presentation of the daily specials and our carafe of water. The dishes are either original or too classic, and sometimes a bit expensive like the strawberries like at grandma's; a cup of barely ripe strawberries, a cup of sugar, a cup of whipped cream for 10€. That's a shame. This restaurant room is also used for breakfast, there is a varied choice of sweet, savory and pastries.
Everything is perfect...from the welcome, to the service, to the rooms and in the kitchen...and what about the place...magical at sunset.
