Warm welcome, good service
The hotel is lovely but we had no hot water in our room. We told reception who moved us which was good but when we came down for dinner a member of staff, the hotel manager I think, was very rude telling us there was hot water and suggesting that we had made it up to get an upgrade. This was very insulting so we left the restaurant and ordered delivery pizza instead. Very disappointing as the restaurant looked lovely and we were looking forward to a nice evening after a long drive. The rest of the staff were charming.
Great place. Very comfortable and excellent restaurant. This was our second stay - perfect for the channel tunnel and it's in the countryside so very quiet. Highly recommend
