This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel, and I would happily return. Very warm welcome and a remarkably good stay in a peaceful location.

I knew the hotel from the time of the previous owner, I learned that work was going to be undertaken, an elevator would be welcome.
Kamer erg gedateerd en rook muffig en naar rook.
Toilet was niet in orde en bleef doorspoelen.
Toen we s’ochtends wilde uitchecken was er niemand.
Het hotel en restaurant zag er verlaten uit.
Na wachten en bellen kwam eindelijk de eigenaar.
Het bedrag wat afgerekend moest worden was opeens 3x hoger dan het bedrag waarvoor we het bij booking.com hadden gereserveerd.
Een belachelijk hoog bedrag voor de staat van de kamer.
Gelukkig bewijs in mijn mail van het echte bedrag en dat betaald.
Maar alsnog vond ik de prijs hoog voor de kwaliteit van de kamer.
Ik zou dit hotel niet aanraden.
Fabulous stay in Lisieux. Staff are so helpful and friendly. The restaurant serves excellent food in the evening and the breakfast is equally as good.

Disappointed by the room except the bedding Room needs urgent updating: No ventilation in the room, musty smell Broken bedside lamp stuck with silicone (which doesn't hold) Carpet on the floor, not very hygienic, parquet or linoleum is better. No curtains on the windows even though there is a significant view Not enough power outlets The shower tray was installed over the old one Fixing holes in the tiles and poorly filled around the sink: risk of water ingress and rotting of the wall Wobbled and poorly fixed toilet

The hotel area was fine. The quality of the cuisine (gourmand) fell short of expectations. The service was catastrophic. We arrived late (8:20 p.m.) and were told that the kitchen would only take orders until 8:30 p.m. We left our luggage in the car and went straight to the restaurant. Despite repeated requests, our request to bring us a menu and wine list was only heard 20 minutes later. We had to wait another quarter of an hour until our order was taken. The beer we ordered - longed for after a long drive - arrived after a good 10 minutes.

Hotel and restaurant. No network connection in the room located on the 2nd floor. No information from the o'logis site or the hotelier before trying to connect. When you book an evening stopover, 2 nights, and it is not possible to connect to the hotel, it is a shame. Either this difficulty is quickly resolved, or you will unfortunately have to change hotels.
Difficult access due to works in the city
A major refresh of the room is necessary (too rococo). Not at all modern (furniture - wallpaper - color of curtains - lamps - etc...). The decoration needs to be reviewed in its entirety. Humid atmosphere in the room. Carpeting (bacteria nest) should be avoided completely. Hand towels were missing when we arrived and the shower gel/shampoo bottle was 1/3 full. Best to pay on arrival or have reception staff ask for departure time. It is indicated at reception to pay the day before, if departure is before 8:00 a.m. What to do when the day before is a Sunday, when there is no one at reception? and you leave on Monday at 6:30 a.m. to catch a flight? There should be one person at all times. Fortunately a couple of friends were leaving on Monday morning, late in the morning, to pay my bill. I was offered remote payment. In short, not at all practical; not very professional. Likewise, no one between meal time until 4:00 p.m. (time at which arrival formalities are carried out). Visiting the surrounding areas with luggage is not super practical. Fortunately, I was able to leave my suitcase in the luggage room, after contacting the hotel by telephone. It's already that ! Nevertheless, friendly and smiling staff. I won't come back. Is this hotel a 3 star? Absolutely not worth them!

We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the room, dirty carpet, we were reluctant to walk barefoot, unpleasant smells in the bathroom, when we opened the bed we had the feeling that the sheets had not been changed .

Very good stay in this hotel. I particularly recommend the half-board package, which allows you to benefit from a very advantageous rate for the evening meal (with a limited menu, of course, but with a choice which remains sufficient despite everything, fast and pleasant service and dishes quality). The rooms are simple but clean and functional (and, this is rare enough to be underlined, they are equipped with shutters!). I will most likely return to this hotel during a future pilgrimage to Lisieux.
Welcoming and attentive staff. Comfortable hotel in the center, with a very good breakfast. We really enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant: refined and inventive cuisine, local products, hearty dishes, natural and impeccable service, in a lovely setting.

Very warm welcome but aging hotel with inconclusive renovation attempts: outdated furniture, moldy shower seals, very worn toilet bowl and broken lid, worn carpet and above all noisy street at night ('no possibility of sleeping window closed because not air conditioning). Work on nearby inaccessible car parks +++ Note: new and very comfortable mattresses!

Quality hotel, with a very professional welcome and attentive staff at the service of its guests. The hotel is located in the center of Lisieux, a few steps from the town center which is being renovated (pedestrian street in the making). In the evening, from 9:30 p.m., calm sets in despite the beautiful spring days when people want to go out.
The hotel staff are really good and make a difference. But the soundproofing is VERY bad! It's limited if you can't hear the "sigh" given by your roommate. Above all, don't forget your "Earplugs"! The shower is also really VERY narrow and the The water drains very badly. Not at all pleasant. The breakfast is not worthy of a three star.
