A fantastic and unique experience, offering history, great hospitality, excellent food, and clean, comfortable rooms. I would definitely consider staying there again and would recommend it to others.
A very friendly hotel in a historic building with an excellent restaurant.
Everything was great! Especially the restaurant
Perfect. One small downside is the bread, which isn't great, otherwise nothing to complain about.
This is a family run hotel and provide a friendly welcoming atmosphere as soon as you arrive. The hotel rooms are typically French but are comfortable and the beds are provided with white cotton bed linen to give a superb nights sleep. Whilst some of the rooms face a road into the village the amount of traffic is light particularly at night and didn’t bother us. The breakfast is good and of a continental style. The restaurant meals are excellent with a good choice as is the wine list. It would be very difficult not to enjoy a stay at this hotel as all the staff go out of their way to make available whatever you may need. Not to worry if your French isn’t too good as good English is spoken and with good humour. The hotel is ideally placed if WW2 beaches, museums and cemeteries are of interest. We look forward to our next visit.
