Lovely hotel, a really warm and friendly welcome
Dirty establishment, unmaintained outdoor areas, and the worst part!!!!! No water. Just a message to give me the entry code and room number, in short, non-existent reception

Nobody to receive us when we arrived. Had to phone somebody for code to open door. Restaurant was not available. Had to eat in city. We had asked for enclosed parking, but since nobody was there we had to park along the street. We were charged with a higher price than agreed on, probably due to a new owner who changed the tariffs.
No one to welcome us, at 7 p.m., so right in the time slot. I call the hotel number: no answer. Someone sends me a text, I call back. After getting the entry code, I am sent to a room with supposedly the key on the door. No key. After having toured the hotel, two rooms have a key on the door: one is not made and the other must accommodate a group. The person on the line asks me to come: she lives 20 minutes away. Finally, we are accommodated in a sauna room, after crossing a courtyard mined with dog droppings. A commercial gesture will be made for the inconvenience. The next morning, the dog greets us in the yard by barking at us. We take our luggage into the car and, as we return to the hotel, the mastiff barks at us and begins to growl. Perfect !

Unfortunately the Museum Matisse (reason for our booking) was closed, which was not mentioned on the hotel's website. OK my fault, I should have checked that at the museums website.
Bigger problem: since my son in law joined me, I upgraded the booked room to a suite with double bed and convertible bench. The convertible bench was not made. The owner replied that they didn't have any room with 2 separate beds! So we slept in one bed, but paid for a suite with 2 beds, no refund!
Spacious room, relatively comfortable, beautiful view, excellent restaurant, pleasant staff.
a few points need to be improved or even modified: the management of opening the windows or closing the curtains before the arrival of customers, it was hot in the room as soon as we arrived; the curtains are poorly hung and no shutters so the window is not light-tight the water was not drained correctly from the shower through the shower drain and ended up in the room the sink faucet n There is no written awareness written in order to save water but no technical means put in place although we have been aware of the exceptional nature of the presence of the dog in the restaurant, I find this very delicate, moreover that 'he could have stayed on the terrace for breakfast, the orange juice was not tasted, preferred pastries and fresh bread from bakeries rather than reheated, ensuring that breakfast was ready before our theoretical arrival as we must be announced at the time of booking (unknown time during weekends or holidays) point which was asked of us twice (at the time of booking and upon our arrival, ensure that there is transmission of information) in writing or computerized

Very good service and food.
130€/night during the festival. Leaky shower. No suitable shelf above the sink. I was told that we had to vacate at 11am. 9:30 a.m., the cleaning lady comes into the room while I am sleeping soundly. Rebelotte at 10:30 a.m. At 11 a.m., upon departure, she was in front of my door... very unpleasant.

I stayed for the second time at the Hostellerie du Marché and was delighted. The hotel is charming, the restaurant very neat and good with fresh, homemade products. The welcome is simply perfect and the room comfortable. A big thank you to the whole team and especially to the manager!

While I was asked what time I wanted my breakfast (around 7:30), I was really surprised to find the door closed like other customers. All this because the written instruction given by the manager to the person in charge of breakfast was to come for 8:00!!!! It's incomprehensible and silly. What hotelier hosting a professional clientele during the week can ignore the constraints of clients? In short, I will no longer come even if it means taking the Ibis from Cambrai or the Akena from Caudry.

Pleasant discovery that this hotel !!!! The room was spacious with the necessary comfort (good bedding, good cushions...) and the eco-responsible policy of the establishment is a plus for me!!!! The young girl who welcomed me was really friendly, for the catering (I was in the evening stopover) again it's super well thought out with a dish + dessert formula where several choices are offered to you (4 different dishes for me ) and having to say that I was not disappointed. For breakfast, unfortunately, I couldn't take advantage of it since I had to leave very early... really early... In short, a friendly address combining comfort, ecology and unbeatable value for money.
Cleanliness of the room to review: cut nails on the carpet and other small waste. Sheet with a yellowish halo...wasting of water to reach temperature. No bottle of water in the room, no hair dryer...Fortunately smiling and helpful staff, excellent breakfast!
I don t' understand whey I could not get a £76 euros room given that we were only 2 customers in the hotel .To be honest I am very unhappy as well to know your services charge £ 10 for this service.It is impossible to get hold of the hotel without using your service and I find that very upsetting.I will try to avoid Booking.com next time because in the end I was charges "0 euros extra and this has nothing to do with the hotel service.

Very pleasant staff, very good breakfast, large room but too little heated I had to ask for a second duvet and bathroom without heating; impossible to shower there Energy savings yes but not to the total detriment of basic comfort especially when it is freezing outside

I love SPAs, I only go to hotels with these services, once a week for my work everywhere in France and Belgium: here Jacuzzi not in service due to water change, and Sauna which heats up at full 40 45°C, lions of the usual 85°C.
We were upgraded for my husband's 50th birthday and a small gift was waiting for us in the room! The welcome by Elodie was charming throughout the stay and our requirements were met. In short, a pleasant stay from the SPA, through dinner, at night and until breakfast! We recommend this hotel and its services for events! A big thank you to Elodie and the whole team!!!

Home more than pleasant, whether from the arrival of the evening to breakfast. Room well renovated, well heated and well equipped, just missing a hair dryer and a towel rack in the bathroom. Meal a bit simple in the evening stopover. Private parking is not reassuring, but there are free places in the street in front of the hotel.
For a first try, it is successful and we will surely come back to it.
