a nice hotel for hikers, not only, but especially, although there are other exciting destinations in the area, WW1 (Hartmannsweilerkopf) and the Textile Museum Castle with a fantastic park. Absolutely recommended (I don't hike). You should also mention it in the hotel... But the internet helps....

Inn in the quiet of the mountains, ideal for a moment of rest before hiking after enjoying the shows at the Bussang theater located less than half an hour away. I would come back with great pleasure, there are still many activities to do in the region!

Very well received, we had a very pleasant and very relaxing stay in this "hotel-inn-farm" located on the heights of Saint Amarin with a breathtaking view of the valley. The three dinners and breakfasts enjoyed on site were very generous and tasty. These meals made from excellent local produce (some from the farm) delighted our taste buds. Thank you to all the staff for this stay.

Absolutely lovely family run Auberge in a wonderful Vosges setting. Great walking routes from Auberge. You can sit outside with a drink taking in the views. Great room with all amenities expected from this kind of Logis. Food all local, much from the farm and excellent.

Very good hotel, friendly and helpful staff, very good restaurant, nice clean room with excellent bathroom (fortunately only a shower). There was also an outdoor terrace with excellent (friendly and prompt) service. All that can be said about the restaurant is that they offer a wide choice, the portions are large, and here too, friendly and prompt service that thinks along with you without any problems (e.g. different sauce for the meat, or other combination of dishes). The breakfast also had a wide choice of bread, sausage, cheeses, drinks, puddings, yoghurts, fruit, etc.

We felt comfortable in the hotel in every respect. We really liked the room with the balcony. The dinner was delicious and highly recommended.

Only small downside: bed which made noise on one side

Goed eten, vriendelijk personeel....dachten dat we een moderne kamer hadden zoals foto liet zien..was helaas een ouderwets interieur met zeer gedateerde badkamer...wel alles schoon en netjes

The staff is very friendly. A cuisine of high quality and above all local products! The establishment is ideally located on the heights of StAmarin, close to the hiking trails which access the Hautes Vosges. Alsace as we like it!

Apart from the fact that there was no coffee or herbal tea in the room, this hotel is simply perfect.

This establishment should be a reference establishment as the welcome, the service, the friendliness, the rooms and the quality of the meals are exceptional. I stayed there on a professional basis but I will return with great pleasure on a private basis. The only small downside is the quality of the telephone reception or that of the Wifi but in the mountains can you hope for better.

Heerlijke plek, aardig peroneel, prima kamer met goed bed, sauna was een hele fijne verrassing! Alles super schoon.. en als klapper super goed eten , lunch , diner en ontbijt, neem ze allemaal! Ze hebben zelf een boerderij dus vlees, melk en kaas van eigen bodem.

Warm atmosphere in a preserved environment

A very quiet location. Staff is passionate about making everything right. Good and reasonably priced restaurant, where quality and service are clearly at the top of the staff's to-do list. A room that was renovated some time ago, but where everything functions, it is extremely clean and all details are correct. Example: where can you find sturdy cups for brushing teeth and a real washcloth?

Beautiful auberge in a secluded location with a view of the valley. Very relaxing. No noise, just cowbells ringing. Slept well and ate very well in the restaurant. We were given an explanation of the menu in German. Everyone is super friendly. After the sumptuous dinner we didn't want breakfast but just coffee. No problem. We recommend.

yMy son and I booked the house for an overnight stay on a motorcycle tour. The hotel is very nice and absolutely quiet. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The room and bathroom are in the style of the 80s and could use some modernization. The good cuisine and the extensive breakfast buffet deserve our express praise.

Very good experience shared during our stay. Very good quality/price/environment ratio. We had a lot of precise information on the surrounding farm inns and for ideas for walks. The Chef cooks with his products from their farm. His dishes are excellent.

Overall the hostel is fine. The managers and their teams are doing what is necessary. The 4-star rating reflects the general experience, weighted by an experience that I think is important to share for future professionals traveling during a stopover. The hostel is lively, well located, the room is spacious and clean. The view must be beautiful for those who have a room on the downstream side. The bedding is comfortable, but a single duvet on a double bed, it clashes at first. The cuisine is gourmet, local and made to order. Therefore, don't be in a hurry, there will be a long wait if the restaurant is full. I definitely recommend this place. However, having made a stopover evening stay, the limited choice of the starter offered (a soup because the other starter was out of stock) made me take an à la carte dish (much wider choice). And there, the bill the next day seemed to me disproportionate to the supplement taken. Indeed, by switching to the menu, I left the stopover evening, and from 85€ for the whole, I went to 75€ for the night, 12€ for breakfast, 22€ for the dish and 14€ the entrance. That is almost €50 overrun on the initial budget. I naively thought of paying only the supplements linked to the meal without being ousted from the evening stopover. It would be good to specify when ordering the financial consequences of the à la carte choice, because at a €50 difference, if someone had told me, I would have declined the soup for the stopover evening and switched to the dish immediately. . The majority of Logis hotels offer their entire menu during stopovers. It's easier. For the rest, recommended.

What a marvellous find! Couldn't fault any of my stay- the staff,the rooms and the food were superb!

Very pleasant uncomplicated stay, staff very friendly, dinner fantastic. Our room was very nice, modern and comfortable with a balcony. You could have a drink on the terrace before or after dinner. Good starting point for hiking. Breakfast was also rich and good with local products. All in all a wonderful stay!

Very friendly. Family. Sehr freundlich. Sehr guter Service. Relaxing in nature. Half of the house very modern and half of the house the style as it used to be. New Sauna included. Very delicious Alsace food - also for vegetarians like me. A la carte. Try the munster plate in a puff pastry with salads, veggie soup, Königin Pastete, beed filet mignon, yummy desserts. They produce their own cheese, pork sausage, eggs, yoghurt, jelly, syrups, etc. They have a local shop/Hofladen. Organic bio wine - try Corbiere. quality local ingredients/products - herbs from the garden I loved their dogs who are working at the farm. Lots of cows, goats, donkeys, 3 pigs, chickens. I liked the rossberg room with a small balcony overlooking the woods and the farm. Next time I will book No 21 overlooking the mountains. Behind the house you can start hiking to Geisberg, next village or to a chapel. No dogs allowed to bring. Have fun there 😊

A beautiful hotel in the middle of nature with excellent cuisine!

The staff was very friendly, the cat Phil was very cute. The ringing of the bells of the cows and the view of the countryside were great. The dinner was very tasty and the nice lady of the house translated the French of the menu for me, where I couldn't get any further. We especially recommend the breakfast with great products from the farm. I slept great and will definitely come back sometime.

We had a great weekend in this hotel, we will come back during our next stay in this region. We highly recommend this establishment... The quality of the food served, genuine local cuisine and the comfort of the rooms.

Highly recommendable hotel!

Magnificent place to stay where everything is thought out for the customer: the rooms are superb, the bedding quality, the soundproofing too. The hotel restaurant is really worth the detour: Alsatian specialties with local and organic farm produce. The breakfast is very generous and at will. The staff can't do enough for us and are always available. Thank you for everything. We can't wait to come back to see you and we miss the mountain already!
