It is definitely an ideal setting for the Chef’s seasonal cuisine, which you can enjoy in the summer dining room which opens onto the park, or in the stylish winter lounge with its beams and impressive fireplace. The neo-classical, refined take on cuisine makes the most of local produce and noble fare (lobster, foie gras etc.). It is crafted by a true enthusiast who goes out of his way to prepare each of his creations to the same exacting standards. Here, everything is home-made, including the bread. I regularly come to Gue de Selle. This hotel is comfortable, well located next to a developed natural area (possibility of walking, running, cycling or water sports in favorable periods). The welcome is very friendly, the staff very kind, the cuisine superb. Moreover, it is a pleasure to see the cook in the hotel garden collecting plants for his dishes. In short, I recommend this hotel.
The hotel is well located. The setting is beautiful and peaceful. On the other hand, the cleaning in the room is very limited. The bathroom needs a refresh and some light. The small fridge did not work. We were on half-board for 6 days. Same menu for 6 meals! We had to ask for other suggestions. A piece of bread per person and no more!! For a menu at €35, not having bread to eat your cheese is beyond belief. The swimming pool is out of service. Too bad!! We had chosen this hotel also and especially for its swimming pool!! We do not recommend this establishment for a vacation.
The accommodation and the restaurant were perfect, the menus offered are high-end, we had a great time. A few small drawbacks without much importance, my electric car charging did not work, my Ariya was perhaps incompatible with the 2 Tesla 22kw terminals, yet it is the same power that I have at home. Finally it was not serious, just like the swimming pool a little cold for my taste

Dinner very good. The problem is the cleaning not done in the room: apparently no vacuum cleaner on the carpet, many hairs on the floor of the bathroom and toilet, used cotton swab on the floor, flush not flushed in the toilet. We had this noted by the person at reception

Very clearly, the experience is not up to the standard displayed by the establishment, with the exception of the accommodation which is rather pleasant thanks to the magnificent setting and the very satisfactory hotel services. For the rest, many things are to be deplored: - the owner seems more concerned with getting rid of customers than initiating a real exchange, whether on arrival or departure, - on an experience of 3 dinners, in discovery menu, the meals are very unequal, the dishes going from very delicious and refined (almost veal) to very banal or even tasteless, with sometimes even a big difference on the same dish (velouté of zucchini with goat cheese !!!!!! !), the portions are also small, especially on the desserts. On 3 dinners, the appetizer was 3 times the same, and moreover not very interesting in terms of taste: it was changed on the 3rd evening at our request. - The breakfasts are worthy of a low-end hotel chain: very salty industrial charcuterie and cheese, pastries drop by drop (you have to order it the night before and there is only one), coffee, tea, etc. ... made by a machine, no local or local product in all this. - The tablecloths are not changed for breakfast, so that, despite the addition of advertising paper placemats on top, you eat at best on your tasks from the night before, at worst on tasks customers who dined the day before at this table. Not sure that in COVID times, this system is very suitable, and certainly not worthy of such an establishment. - The menus are not displayed anywhere and on 3 evenings, only the last evening we were presented with a menu with the 3 menus offered. We are not used to such malfunctions at Logis de France (see our last stay in Clécy) hence our immense disappointment, fortunately a little understated by the beauty of the place.
Excellent restaurant! We had dinner with five adults and we all loved the presentation and quality of the food. We selected this place to stay because it differs from other hotels. We were traveling back to Holland after a week Holiday in France.

The hotel is located in an enchanting setting, along a lake. Warm welcome by a smiling and diligent staff. Although the room could use a little updating, it was functional and comfortable. All this for a reasonable price. Also note the delicious dinner.
We stayed in the hotel as an overnight stay on our way to and from our holiday accommodation. We enjoyed our first stay so much we changed our booking for the way home to stay here again.
The welcome was very good and all the staff are attentive and helpful. It is spacious and light with good drounds to walk around. Our room was good were all facilities.

Friendly welcome, tasty and sought-after cuisine. The pond is immaculate for a walk, a fishing or a jog! Plus the outlets for recharging EVs (when they work!) Only the rooms could use a little sprucing up but are still very comfortable.
A small room near the road (you can hear the traffic of the departmental road...) at the start without TV. I had to ask the reception to get one... The evening meal taken indoors as we are in June and I would have enjoyed dining on the terrace. The meal was good but I found the breakfast this morning a little simple on what was offered. In short, a mixed stay and which does not leave me with an exceptional memory....
We enjoyed our stay at this delightful hotel. It was a one night stop on our way to our main destination. There are enough local activities to stay for longer.
