The Giraudière manor is a very beautiful place in a green setting. This place is very peaceful to recharge your batteries, it's perfect. The welcome is very pleasant with good advice on discoveries and restaurants. We had the opportunity to rent bikes for free and for the whole day. With roads accessible only by bike and on foot on the edge of the manor. Really perfect! The only downside was the iron bed frame that kept creaking with every movement.

DEFINITELY TO AVOID. Hotel located in a countryside lost in the middle of a village in decay. Upon your arrival, the hotel and its surroundings are in a lamentable and sinister state. We do not understand the current classification in 3 stars? It is indeed an old "manor" but which has never been brought up to date. The managers or owners do their utmost to hide this situation.

We spent two nights, our room smelled of humidity and a smell of dust in the bed, two nights having difficulty breathing, being already fragile it was even worse.
A little gem in a magnificent setting! Everything was perfect: the welcome, the room, the bedding, and a very special mention for breakfast!! A selection of quality products (take a few minutes to chat with the people who welcome you), local for what can be, to offer a substantial choice of savory and sweet. For making many business trips to Logis Hotels, I guarantee you that the quality is there compared to other places!

The manor is a superb building but unfortunately very poorly maintained. A little gardening and cleaning would make the place magnificent. We noticed a smell mixing humidity and old age of the place in the common areas and corridors. However we had a very decent room.

Manoir de la Giraudière is an exceptionally charming hotel, picturesquely located on the Vienne. The welcome is warm and the staff is very helpful. The hotel is a 10-minute drive from historic Chinon and the hotel is great for cycling.

We only spent one night in this place steeped in history. Good welcome, quiet night, very good bedding, generous breakfast! We recommend.
Room which deserves a little renovation and soundproofing because there is incessant whirring all night long....(on the ground floor laundry...?) Parking for electric vehicles monopolized by thermal vehicles...so it is impossible to charge our vehicle... The manager did not wish to disturb the customers, however gave us the possibility of recharging our vehicle on the hotel terrace...(around 11 p.m., after an 8 hour drive....):-( It would be good if the manager enforces parking instructions within his property in order to avoid this type of inconvenience....!!!!

I loved the beauty of the place, and the helpfulness of the staff as well as their cordiality What could be improved: -Checking that the TV is working before customers arrive (especially when 'canal +' is announced at the entrance) -do not spray essential oils on their sheets without customers' consent -vacuum the rooms every day -modernize the breakfast (different pastries, varieties of cakes, fresh orange juice, etc.) - enlarge the bathtubs/showers In general, being a regular customer of 3-star hotels for my business trips, I have not found that the service and comfort are up to the average of 3-star establishments

Very warm and friendly welcome. The mansion has a lot of charm, but we feel that it has aged. A few small repairs wouldn't be amiss! We spent three excellent nights in peace, far from an urban atmosphere, and woke up to the chirping of birds! A restaurant would be an added luxury!

When we arrived, no one to welcome us. Received by papers stuck on the doors to guide us to our room. A real treasure hunt. Had to call several times to be sure of the reservation and the Friday before our arrival for Sunday, there was only one night reserved instead of two. Problem solved but we see that there is a lack of organization.

We spent one night in the hotel, the value for money is correct. However, the establishment is aging, which is a shame given the setting, but I imagine that the investment would be significant. It would be great to think about turning on the heating before the arrival of users. Very complicated to regulate the hot water in the bathtub, so a lot of water wasted. We have been coming to La Giraudière for years and each time we have a very pleasant time. The manor is very well maintained, the bedding is perfect and the place is superb as well as its surroundings near and far. As for the managers and staff of the establishment, they are very friendly and very efficient. We highly recommend this hotel. However, we regret that there is no longer a restaurant but perhaps it will come back.
We stayed for 14 nights and enjoyed the accommodations, the breakfast and the beauty of the hotel garden and the surrounding area.
The hotel is a remarkable historic building, in beautiful white stones typical of Touraine, it has a pretty wooded park not far from the Cher in a really very quiet location, well located for visiting the region and its castles. We feel timeless. The rooms are large and have been renovated, the breakfast is varied and excellent, animals accepted, the atmosphere is very relaxed, the price very attractive.

Nice mansion (a bit lost requiring a GPS to find). On the bike path. 20 minutes from Chinon by bike, Large lockable bicycle garage. Comfortable bedding and bathroom. Poor sound insulation like in old houses!!. Good Wifi reception during the day but sluggish in the evening when it is shared with other residents.
