The site of Pointe St Mathieu is superb and our stay allowed us to enjoy it in all weathers. The hotel is very close to the site and close to places to eat (Le Conquet and Plougonvelin). The rooms are spacious and the staff very pleasant.

The hotel is quiet and well located. You can hear the sea. The room is very clean and very pleasant. The staff is friendly. I recommend.

Very good despite a few small details: we would appreciate coat racks in the entrance; a curtain or a door to separate the bathroom (especially if you are not a couple: no privacy). Otherwise perfect service, pleasant decor, exceptional location, gourmet restaurant and bistro right next door.

Great location to wake up to for the real Brittany experience and the room had a view. The hotel room was very clean and modern, perfect for a short stay. Arriving after 8pm was slightly confusing as I had to collect the keys from a different reception area, effectively belonging to a different hotel. The only thing I did not enjoy so much was returning to my room from the restaurant at night in the wind and rain alone, as the room was not in the main area. Well lit, it is still slightly off the beaten path.

Very good overall. Be careful though because there was a slight smell of cat urine probably due to previous customers, too bad.

Very satisfactory hotel overall, however it lacks a shelter for smokers outside in case of bad weather, and the breakfast was not up to the 12€ (lack of salty, I would have liked to eat apple compote, the pastry is "sticky" ...) The rest of the service is up to our expectations with a very pleasant room with a superb sea view. The bedding is very good. The separate toilets are also a plus ...

Thank you to all the people at the hotel who welcomed us and accompanied us during this stay. We will come back.

Satisfied with our stay. Quality breakfasts. Room a little small for two for three days (storage of clothes). Bathroom without door. The room furniture and carpet is a bit outdated/old but other than that, the stay was great.

Correct but disappointed compared to the reviews read about the hotel.

Room with strong smell of humidity with many difficulties in sleeping. Reported to the staff who did nothing to solve our problem. So they were two difficult nights. If there had not been a two year old child with us I would have left. Too bad because the hotel, given its strategic position, would have great potential.

The only acceptable thing is the 2 people at the reception. for the rest no I specify They show up at 5:30 p.m. to make the room. traces of mold (black) on the curtains several stains on the carpet. for the first breakfast, we do not find the milk, we ask, the waitress signals us in the cupboard further, unfortunately empty bottle as well as the orange juice made the remark, response (without any apology) have busy sense (5 minutes) but especially a waitress without I liked to smile or to live well. You understand that we cannot recommend your accommodation.

Very very disappointing, moldy bathroom, at the windows bird nests, birds shits everywhere. We've had option to breathe mold from bathroom or bird shits. No sea touch as presented, sea is far away, down the reef. Very poor breakfast. Frozen pastries, what a joke. Weak Wifi. Overpriced. Never again.

A hotel on a human scale, with calm and a magnificent setting, the staff are charming and the services are of good quality! A great discovery

The Ouessant room (for 5 people) is better than in the photos! All white with touches of blue and above all a sea view from each window and also the St Mathieu lighthouse from a skylight. A balcony is also included in this large attic room. A cocoon by the ocean.

We loved our stay as a whole, but we were disappointed by the attitude of the lady at the reception. We did not feel welcome. We arrived quite early (4pm), but our confirmation said that it was possible to check in from that time. The lady at the reception said that it was not possible to check in yet because the rooms were not ready. This is of course fine - we were happy that we could leave the car in the car park and explore the sights before coming back. However, the way the lady said this was quite unfriendly. When we came back later in the evening to check in, the welcome was not friendlier either. It was not a warm welcome and we didn't even get a single smile. We think that if you work at a reception of a hotel that mainly hosts tourists, you should be warm and friendly to the guests. The room and the facilities were very nice, and the view from the terrace was great. We loved it, it felt so luxurious. However, the small things matter to us and because we didn't feel so welcome, we would choose to stay somewhere else if we came back to that area.

Perfect shame we would have liked 2 more nights, but we will definitely come back👍🏻

Nuestra habitaclón olia muy mal, lo comente en recepción y me dijeron que era problema de desagues y que ya lo sabían.Pedi que nos dieran otra habitación y dijeron que estaba todo lleno .
Teníamos la reservq con Booking desde el mes de enero.
El sitio es precioso ,pero tuvimos mala suerte con la habitación.

One drawback: the hotel parking lot is too small, we had to park further away and our car was hit. The rest very good, staff, bedding, room, etc.

The first room given to us did not correspond at all to our reservation (small room or spacious room 26m2 with sea view) and we had to negotiate a lot with the people at reception to get a room that almost conformed to our reservation, otherwise for the rest nothing to say.

A very beautiful hotel, relaxing, soberly decorated, combining both Breton architecture and modernity, flooded with light thanks to its large windows, and with a great view of the sea. Perfect shower, aging but pleasant carpet... Everything perfect. Bravo for the breakfast: local products, an extra prune fare, excellent pancakes and a first-rate tomme cheese. A very small downside: the music in the breakfast room. Why are we everywhere invaded by this low-end international variety? In such a beautiful setting, one would have hoped for a background of classical or Celtic music, a few harp notes or, better yet... silence! Special mention for the swallows' nest in the corner of our bedroom window: it's great to have left it, despite the little dirt it causes: what a pleasure to see this beautiful couple feeding their young! This is truly ecology in action, well done and thank you, for that alone, we will come back!

We had a more expensive room than usual and we were disappointed with the quality. €50 more for a room with a balcony, but the floor is not too clean and the box spring and chairs are stained. Next time if we are unable to get a cheaper room we will postpone our stay. Otherwise staff as usual very smiling and welcoming and breakfast at the top

Nauseous smell in room 102, it smelled like sewers, impossible to stay there. We asked to change rooms but the hotel was full. We were therefore offered a room at L'hostellerie St Mathieu, which is 4 stars so we had a superb room.

Kindness of the person at reception and availability of the staff to offer us a transfer solution to the Conquet pier.

There was no one at reception when we arrived (in the time slot indicated by Booking) so we went to the other Hotel. The breakfast location wasn't very specific... maybe here, maybe at the other hotel. Room meets our expectations (this is the 3rd time I have come to this hotel). Decent breakfast.

Shabby, partially defective, unkempt and, above all, NOT clean - and that for an unbelievable 142 euros

Only complaint: empty shower product dispenser.

We arrived around 6:30 p.m. Once in the room I noticed a very strong smell (resembling cat pee) and noticed that we had almost no toilet paper. I went to reception to ask for some but I had to notice that there was no one there (at 7 p.m.!), everything was closed. At the price of the room I waited longer. The strong smell kept me from sleeping, so no pleasant stay.

Excellent value for money for a large renovated room, very comfortable bedding, sea view, quiet and very clean. The staff very friendly and helpful. The only thing missing is Italian coffee for breakfast! A pleasant surprise, we will come back.

Be careful, the photos have nothing to do with reality. The hotel is behind a large hotel and hidden by the latter. We had asked for a sea view room and we got a room with a small window overlooking a piece of lawn. Very small room. Parking as big as a pocket handkerchief. No wifi connection.

A quiet establishment, very well located! We stayed a week in this hotel interspersed with a night in Ouessant! Two different bedrooms, one on the ground floor and one on the 1st. Both equally nice and comfortable. A good quality breakfast. It should be noted the professionalism of Armelle the receptionist, smiling, caring. A Pet-friendly establishment. Nearby, the lighthouse house for a snack after returning from a hike, a creperie or bistro 54, not forgetting the restaurant at the Saint-Mathieu hostelry. The GR 34 passes nearby.

Hotel unworthy of a 3 star. The room assigned to me (201) was filthy: stained carpet, chair and curtains, bird droppings on the windowsills and panes, vmc clogged with dirt, unpleasant smell! Expensive breakfast, we even charge 6€ for babies! Ashamed. Nonchalant and unhelpful staff. I stayed in this hotel 10 years ago it was perfect, but the lack of maintenance is very noticeable. It even lacks the L of hotel on the facade. At the entrance of the hotel a planter serves as an ashtray, it's disgusting. Finally, the private car park has 7 spaces, you have to park in the small public car park where you need a lot of luck to find a space in the area in summer. No WiFi in the room. Stay unworthy, overpriced given the state of the hotel. It almost feels like Formula 1. Shameful.

Staff attentive to customer needs, helpful and concerned with constantly improving the reputation of the establishment. Small hotel car park convenient for unloading luggage on arrival and departure. Too bad that a very large SUV vehicle was oriented to park there, making maneuvers difficult. Good comfort of the room as of the bedding. However a switch on the headboard did not work and the carpet in the room was stained in the entrance. Hotel, with the sea view room, in a quiet area. Very good breakfast. Hotel worth knowing.

Hotel very well located, superb landscape. Correct room with large wardrobe and desk, large shower. Friendly and welcoming staff. Good and decent breakfast. The only problem is the car park in front of the hotel, which only has 6 spaces (this is one of our criteria) but there is a large free public car park a little further away.

Hotel booked through booking. Difficult to understand when booking that the Vent d'Iroise hotel is not directly facing the sea, we have the impression on the internet of booking the hostelry of Pointe Saint Mathieu, which is not the case: the price of 142€ without breakfast seems too high for a correct but not luxurious service: clean but small room. We didn't have breakfast because the whole thing would have cost €166, frankly expensive for the service.
