I had only taken a room but the next morning I was charged for a breakfast of 13 euros that they did not want to reimburse me so I had a coffee and a small cake. In short, this was not what I wanted. The night before I had dinner there. I had a plate of seafood. The plate was beautiful but totally tasteless. Frankly there is much better and cheaper around Villedieu les Poêles. Very disappointed by the quality of the catering for a Logis de France.

Hello This is the 3rd time we have come to this hotel and we still love it as much. The privilege room with its king size bed in peace and quiet we slept like marmots. The excellent buffet breakfast, too bad there are not 2 coffee machines because there is a queue. The restaurant menu is always so delicious Very pleasant team. We can't wait to come back

Very good hotel and restaurant.
Occasional deaf, since the closure of the inimitable Hôtel Du LOUVRE in 1965, my family (grandparents, parents, and ourselves) came to the St Pierre, but since it existed we prefer the Fruitier. This establishment has never disappointed us, it has enjoyed over time a good reputation, deserved. However... This time, we spent 5 nights there for All Saints' Day and had several meals. The hotel seemed full and the catering staff "overbooked". A single waiter at breakfast was, despite his good will, insufficient to clear and prepare the tables for the new arrivals. A single coffee machine and other hot drinks, caused queues annoying the guests who "josted". At least one more machine is needed! The catering can and has done better. Given the crowds (probably linked to All Saints' Day), the always friendly and helpful staff were understaffed, in the dining room and probably in the kitchen. The limited menu always ensures the freshness of the products, but for the same dish ordered 3 times, its preparation in the kitchen was uneven in quality and especially in quantity... The suggestions on the slate are renewed too rarely... That's our feeling. This time we were a little disappointed but that won't stop us from coming back.
Big black mark: the room... peeling wallpaper, stained carpet, peeling paint in the bathroom, decoration, quality of the bedding, creaky bed... in short, €130 per night... much too expensive considering the maintenance and quality of the room! On the other hand, beautiful ceiling and a rather good welcome. In addition, we were able to enjoy the spa... too bad because the pool liner is poorly maintained, the sanitation level is not great either because as soon as we arrived (at 9:30 am) the changing rooms and the pool chutes were dirty (hair, dirt, etc.). For a hotel with stars, it's very average...

We came with my wife to spend a short weekend, hotel in a small village very nice to visit The welcome very cordial, nothing to say about it The only downside is the supplement of the wellness area ... 500 meters from the hotel in a guest house, I recommend going there by car. We remained hungry by staying 45min out of the 3 hours maximum authorized, the swimming pool was cold, the hammam and the sauna good, a lot of people at the time we went there, we preferred to go back and sit quietly in the room ... however we had a problem with the lockers which was resolved by calling the service which solved the problem in 30 seconds! We were in a standard room, well furnished, functional bathroom, quality bedding The hotel restaurant recommended ++ And the all-you-can-eat breakfast of quality also In the end only disappointed with the wellness area that we do not recommend

The view from my room, on the garden side, on the church and the old roofs is quite charming. On the other hand, the menu on the tablet is not at all practical, we lack an overview of the restaurant's offers. On the other hand, the pricing of the restaurant is an incomprehensible gas factory, even for the mathematician that I am ... I ended up paying 5€ more the next day than what I had calculated ... Please go back to a menu pricing with the possibility of taking à la carte. It's a shame because the dishes are excellent, special mention to the vegetable blinis with salmon, fresh cheese mousse with herbs.
We came as a couple from Seine et Marne and we were not disappointed. The team is great and the room is very well laid out and spacious. I particularly appreciated the small corridor leading to the bed and the modern equipment (LED mirror, silent blinds). We opted for the half-board option with breakfast. The meal at the restaurant was excellent and the breakfast plentiful. We can only recommend this establishment which is only 30 minutes from Mont St Michel.

Lovely hotel, really comfortable and clean. Very nice staff. Good range of products for breakfast but the stuff from the coffee machine is vile they really should try a different brand of coffee. Food in the restaurant is ok but not great. I had a burger which was supposed to be the chef’s signature dish, it was a uniform grey colour all the way through, no hint of it being grilled. The taste was ok but the chef really needs to loose the carrot slices which really don’t belong on a burger imho.
As a regular customer at the Le Fruitier hotel for an evening stopover, I can only advise you to stay there. All the services offered by the hotel and the restaurant deserve 5 stars. In addition, the staff is really nice and attentive.

Room 215 "called PMR" which had just been renovated has major PMR accessibility issues = no seat in the shower, presence of a stop between the bathroom and the bedroom, no bar to hold on to near the sink which is not very solid, the toilets placed in the wrong direction not allowing the transfer of the roller to the bowl, too little distance between the bed and the fixed desk. For maintenance, staying 4 full days, I liked the floors to be swept or vacuumed.

All the staff are lovely from reception to the room staff. The negatives are the lack of parking and especially the cleanliness of my room hair on the toilet and bathroom floors with dust bunnies. The dusty furniture the windows and mirrors in the bathroom...
About the meals, accept the cook's suggestions, he will be delighted and so will you! while respecting allergies and others. In addition, he provided us with varied and very generous picnics, we had chosen the filled baguettes formula. We also had fresh fruit (bananas, mandarins, apples and pears), as for desserts, homemade rice, a muffin, a lemon tart and ........ ? a real treat, never seen before, especially for a group of 30 people.
This was our second visit & will not be our last. The food was excellent & staff very accommodating.

Welcome upon our arrival courteous and efficient. The big advantage of this hotel is the bar and restaurant on site and the possibility of parking nearby.
We had chosen the half-board option to benefit from dinner in the evening and breakfast in the morning. The restaurant did not live up to our expectations. Tasteless dishes and the burger meat was not good (frozen steak?). Same for the fries. The room was a decent size. But the bedding was not particularly comfortable, the cleaning had been partially done and there were big bleach stains on the carpet. Is it worthy of a 3-star hotel? A little freshening up of the rooms would not go amiss. Regarding breakfast, only one person to manage the entire service on a Sunday morning. It's a bit presumptuous. This person was overwhelmed. We went down at 9:30 am and there was no more room in the breakfast room and nothing left on the buffet. When the pastries arrived, they were not cooked enough... However, the staff is very friendly. Apart from a lady from the hotel that we met twice and who did not greet us and who the day before had spoken rather curtly to one of her colleagues in front of all the customers in the restaurant. To conclude, generally disappointing services. It does not make you want to return to this hotel despite the location which is ideal.

Staying at the Knights of Malta estate for one night in a junior suite, we appreciated both the welcome and the calm of this site. The whole is simply magnificent……. We benefited from the wellness area which is simply remarkable. This place (the estate) cannot suffer from any criticism and it is a real chance to have been able to benefit from this extraordinary accommodation. The meal at the Le Fruitier restaurant was very good and well prepared. Finally, the breakfast is up to the site: very good quality. An address to highly recommend. A group of 9 cyclists; we were accommodated very well for bikes and people. Our visit to the boundary was made easy by the central location and we enjoyed our drinks on the terrace and tea provided in our rooms with a kettle. Many thanks to Kate the receptionist.

Impeccable hotel, very pleasant stay. Comfortable room, only problem, if you have allergies, don't forget my medication carpet on the floor. Small but functional bathroom, a shower would be more appropriate in this small space. Still in the bathroom, shower column not very practical at the mixer in the bathtub. Apart from these small details, I recommend this very well located establishment with staff who take great care of customers.

The hotel is well located. For the rest I find that it is not worth the price. We booked two rooms and when we arrived they were not clean. Cake paper under the bed, used tea bags from previous guests. No air conditioning in the rooms so it is hot. The staff at breakfast are not at all friendly. Personally I do not recommend it.
The room is not up to the price paid (paint peeling, carpet in very poor condition, the bottom of the shower bar falling on our feet if we lower the shower head too much, support for sanitary protection bags which also falls if we want to use them, general cleanliness correct but average finish for cleaning.
We like Logis Hotels but this time we were disappointed by the cleaning. Our room seemed not to have been cleaned at the level of the floors of the room and the toilets (very dirty under the beds on the ground floor). There was no more shower product in the shower. The room is dark on the other hand, it lacks light. We ate on the terrace and the floor was really very dirty. It's a shame!

Hello everyone, yes regarding my stay at the hotel (LE FRUITIER, VILLEDIEU LES POÊLES) this stay was very beneficial for me. I came to rest, something that was necessary for me. I cannot spread my health problems, but I thank very much for the staff who had to deal with me. There I understand being disabled something that is not read on my forehead. I do not think I made any noise because I did not go out. Which allowed me to see on 09/08/2024, my family who also has many problems. There I think I was clear in my explanations. And my comment. Thank you very much for your understanding. I did not answer about breakfast. Because for the same reasons that I mentioned I asked to be served in the room for a fee. Thank you for taking note and taking this into account.

We don't have to worry about anything, but we don't know what to do with it.
We stayed at the estate. Top estate, superb room both for aesthetics and for the equipment, very relaxing wellness area (it must be said that we were all alone, the best) The only downside was that we had different places. 1 place for the reception and breakfast, 1 place for dinner and 1 place to sleep but it's still close by and it was worth it. This will remain a very good memory.

View from the room of a dilapidated building. Outdated carpet on the floor. Average breakfast. Room too small that cannot accommodate all customers. Some have to wait until others have finished to settle down. Tables too tight
Restaurant dish quite disappointing, and expensive considering the quality, especially the dessert, crunchy with chocolate, plus it was very hot at the table. Stifling heat in the room, without air conditioning, and yet only 18 degrees outside, bed too small, bathtub not very practical, and slippery, no non-slip mat. In short, some cheaper and better quality hotels.

A beautiful, very stylish and cozy stay in the domain of the Knights of Malta, a very refined guest house annex to the Les Fruitiers hotel. A lot of serenity reigns within this area with complete autonomy and hotel service in privilege mode as a bonus. We were charmed by this accommodation, ideal for a couple's stay, and we will keep very fond memories of it. In addition, its location is ideal for discovering Normandy and part of Brittany.
We had a very good stay... (too short unfortunately) but really very pleasant. As soon as we arrive... The staff is very welcoming and kind, the room is just sublime (to our taste) the restaurant is excellent... We will come back with pleasure...

The room was not to our liking as the sleeping area was on a mezzanine with narrow, steep stairs to the bathroom. As it was booked through the Logis website we did not know in advance the layout of the room.

We have enjoyed staying at Le Frutier over many years. Our stay this year at Le Domaine des Chevaliers de Malte was a very nice experience. We had a very nice room with an excellent en suite, we chose to have breakfast at Le Frutier. If we return to Normandy we shall always look forward to your hospitality at Le Frutier.
Loved it! The village was stunning and the hotel was a stones throw from the centre. Great area to walk around and explore and an in incredible boulangerie just around the corner.
Great location, welcoming arrival, food was very good, a very modern menu, however as an older visitor, a little more traditional food.
The room was great however the toilet was a restricted (size)

It is not clearly indicated that the swimming pool is not on site and subject to charges. The parking lot was reserved and work planned, reception could notify us in advance. The cleaning is poorly done, dressing behind the bedside, vacuum cleaner not done under the bed, suspicious hair in the bathtub and hair that does not belong to me... the poor lighting should not help the staff carrying out their tasks. €21 per evening stopover is fair and the choices are too limited. On the other hand, perfect bedding! Very good breakfast.

We took advantage of this experience through a Wonderbox set offered for my retirement. We chose this place because it was on the way back from our Breton vacation. Villedieu-les-Poëles is a beautiful village. We appreciated the location of the hotel, its comfort, its cleanliness, the large room and the comfort of the bedding, the bathrobes provided for the swimming pool and the excellent catering. We will give good publicity to this establishment.

I booked the premium suite. In the description the room is equipped with HVAC, in reality, there were no HVAC and it was quite hot in the room. We were 4 and there were only 3 towels.

We are sorry for forgetting an extra towel, so do not hesitate to contact reception via the telephone which is made available to you in your room, we could have brought some to you straight away.

What was disappointing was that we had a hotel night reservation + breakfast, we asked for the half board menu which was refused? there were 4 of us, 4 rooms paid for 4 breakfasts and no gesture to grant us the half-board menu?? strange and the information was transmitted in a slightly unpleasant way..
We had a lovely stay overnight, the bedroom was not huge but ample and you only use it to bed down at night, a late request about lodging a pet was answered efficiently via email from reception. Conveniently situated in the town and lots to do round and about. The room was clean and tidy on arrival.
Very nice surprise and professional stay spent in this very beautiful village of Villedieu les Poêles. The welcome and comfort, the value for money are very good. The hotel is ideally located in the center of the village which allows you to enjoy the lively shopping streets with artisans.

We had been to this hotel before and returned based on our previous experience. Today, I doubt we will go back. The welcome was nothing more. The room was not big. The toilets are tiny, you only have to climb onto the bowl to open the door. No tissues in the bathroom. There was a square of chocolate on the floor under the desk. The pillows are uncomfortable. One is not enough and 2 is too much. It was terribly hot in the room. For breakfast, in my opinion the room is too small. There is a choice but circulation in the room is complicated. Not to mention people's mentality... if they could push you to get their piece of bread, they would. The coffee is not good, it's more like coffee water. For the rest, the products are good, fresh, of good quality. Although all this does not justify such a breakfast price. When we left, we were told it was so much and that's it. Knowing whether our stay went well is obviously not of interest to the hotelier.
Pleasant and comfortable stay: the hotel is easy to access and has parking, the rooms are comfortable. The meal at the restaurant was tasty and good service. Special mention for dessert, the pavlova with fresh fruit, truly delicious. The breakfast buffet is delicious and the pastries are really very good. Only downside: the headboard is very damaged and falls into small pieces and sticks to the bed. It would be better to remove it altogether. I recommend this establishment.

Excellent ! Beautiful hotel, very cozy which is located in a charming village ideally located for visits. Very warm welcome, clean and spacious room, same bathroom. Very complete breakfast with very good local products, therefore excellent value for money. Large free parking lot in front of the hotel. We also ate very well in the restaurant, helpful and friendly staff. Small downside: bathtub not very practical, it would be wise to replace them with Italian showers.

The room was extremely hot with no air conditioning. The bathroom had a bath with overhead shower no safety mat or handles .
Very slippery and dangerous for older people. The bread rolls served at dinner were dry tasteless bake at home types unworthy of France.
This establishment is more of a 2* than a 3*. Mezzanine bedroom can be practical when you spend your time going up and down. The air conditioning which is only located on the mezzanine blows us in the nose once lying down if we do not want to be too hot. Kettle but only one cup for 2 people and no tea. No welcome water. The breakfast could be improved, particularly in terms of the quality of the pastries and the tea offered.
Finally a room well insulated from noise. I will be back

Like always. Staff always polite and caring, the dinner is top, top! and no noise in the rooms or light thanks to the shutters, I highly recommend.
We had chosen this establishment for a long weekend, and opted for a superior room. On arrival, cleaning of the room to be reviewed, a defective lamp, the sink in the bathroom drains badly, not to mention hair in the drain of the bathtub... which remained there for 4 days despite several reports. At the time of payment, personal problems are invoked ... but no discount or compensation on the invoice. We won't be back! Too bad, this network of hotels is usually quite satisfactory, but this one is an exception to the rule, very disappointed
We have stayed here several times on overnight stops to our holiday home in Vendee and being just off the autoroute is an ideal village to stop over. Staff are very friendly and are always willing to help. From check in to departure always runs smooth and it is a pleasure staying here.
