Charming hotel in a beautiful historic area. The heart of the city is a 20-minute walk away: a beautiful walk. We will be back.
Very nice and well-appointed room. Excellent bedding, perfect for a good night's sleep.
Room too dark. Average cleaning. Bathroom needs to be reviewed: Poor lighting, shower too small, silicone seals not maintained, faucet not suitable for the sink (low flow causes water to flow outside the sink). Lights and towel rails in the bathroom not fixed. Dinner: very good, breakfast not very good quality (very industrial baguette and croissant/pain au chocolat ditto). To do: as a priority, renovate the hotel bathrooms (rooms 1 & 3 at least).
Great staff and personnel - food and restaurant is off the charts good - but the standard of the rooms is inadequate - dirty, broken fittings, poorly maintained and cleaned

A very well located hotel, right in the heart of Saintes and very close to the abbey. Excellent welcome and very good, tasty cuisine. It is an excellent memory and we will come back!
