Nice family hotel with a lot of history (5th generation) and even an own museum. Swimming pool and sauna are great after a day of activities. The restaurant/brasserie are very good, so enjoy. A lot to do in the surroundings of the hotel and good accessibility from the French and Swiss side.

A beautiful, clean host, full of history. Superb SPA area, great breakfast and very comfortable bedding.
The room was not soundproofed enough; we could hear a lot of cars passing in the street.
Overall good athmosphere and very good kitchenette. The only disappointment was the amenities for the kitchenette (lack of glassware/cups and pottery) woensdag you want to make small diner bypass yourself.
Wifi works well, however you have to reconventie it every time

Très bon hôtel, pour son accueil, sa propreté, son superbe espace piscine, jacuzzi, hammam, sauna..., calme avec une très bonne cuisine, vraiment à recommander.
A family place with a beautiful soul! We eat well ! The room is nice, a bit rustic, especially the bathroom, but otherwise comfortable and pleasant. The spa pool area is a real plus. Too bad the hammam doesn't work properly.
Excellente expérience pour le lieu, la vue, la chambre familiale, le bistro, le restaurant, la piscine, et un des meilleurs petits déjeuners depuis longtemps (unique bémol mais très léger le café pourrait être meilleur pour les amateurs.
The rooms are cocooning. The bedding is comfortable, the pillows much less so. The room a little small. There is no fridge for the price. The bathroom is very small and there is no place to store your belongings. Separate toilets are a plus. The balcony is very pleasant but above the kitchen ventilation, therefore smell and noise. Unfinished wooden furniture is pretty but does not allow for efficient cleaning; we find dust hanging everywhere. Parking is close, practical, but small. As for the restaurant (expensive), the products are quality, but I had the unpleasant experience of finding a rusty staple in my blueberry pie. Fortunately I felt it straight away in my mouth, but imagine the damage caused if I had chewed it or worse swallowed it. The boss was kind enough to make a gesture on the bill, but I had to ask for it. Very unfortunate!
We stayed 2 nights in this establishment, magnificent setting, spacious room with balcony and mountain view, very professional welcome, delicious local and homemade cuisine and generous buffet breakfasts. Top-notch infrastructure (swimming pool, jacuzzi, hammam, sauna, etc.) to help you relax after a day of walking in the fresh air. I highly recommend.

A truly enjoyable hotel, restaurant and service. We definitely will come back. It would be good to have choice of softer pillows in the beds. For a future renovation walk-in showers would be good for a change.

Lovely comfy hotel with a great breakfast.
Stay in August 2023. Beautiful establishment, with remarkable history and authenticity, well equipped (swimming pool, terrace, etc.), recently renovated rooms, and located in a very pleasant little village. Absolutely excellent gourmet restaurant. We were disappointed by a somewhat cramped room, without a mini-bar, and above all by a very heterogeneous and mostly cold reception staff, unfriendly, not very available, rather stingy with information, and generally seeming little concerned about the conditions of our stay. Notably, upon arrival, at 3:45 p.m., we were invited to return 15 minutes later, unceremoniously... And upon departure, we discovered that our "Connect" holiday vouchers were not accepted... Too bad !
Good welcome, spacious and clean rooms, beautiful swimming pool and welcome relaxation area in a majestic setting and close to magnificent hikes, however the value for money is poor due to the lack of freshness in the rooms, ambient noise early in the morning and during the night (road, garbage cans, deliveries).
Overall satisfied. Impeccable welcome and service. A little more variety in the dishes would be a plus.

Very nice hotel with very good restauant but outdated Spa and sometimes unfriendly staff.
Everything was perfect, the excellent bedding, the very relaxing spa pool area, the very exotic location and the delicious restaurant with real gastronomy… The welcoming and very helpful staff. In addition, the Chapelle d'Abondance is magnificent, you can go for walks in the middle of nature.
2nd stay in this hotel and always the same welcome. Very nice room. Great restaurant. We will come back.
