Very convenient hotel vis a vis motorways.Rooms good size .Didn,t have the best meal but in truth made a poor choice .
Would choose hotel again if in hurry to get back but are other more interesting hotels with a more homely feel in area.
The location while not picturesque is very convenient. The room was nice and quiet. Very clean and had all that I needed. The spa area was fantastic except that at the time I arrived there was no staff and therefore I couldn’t get a locker key. Again it was all very clean. The food on the other hand was a disappointment. Not because of its quality. But as I’m a vegetarian the offering was extremely limited. The starter was a small mushroom thing. Not inspiring at all. The main was a plate of grilled vegetables. I could do the same or better and I’m no cook. The cheese board was very tasty but small for the price.
I was subtly made to feel like an annoying awkward weirdo for being a vegetarian. But this is par for the course all over France. They just don’t get it.
Also I was amused to read on checkout early in the morning that all the staff spoke English. This was while I was trying to explain my needs, to a totally non English speaking member of staff!
