Tres bon établissement , a noter que les photos ne correspond pas forcement au chambre quand vous réserver sur le site logis ce qui induit en erreur et j'ai donc du prendre une autre chambre plus chère . La piscine n'est pas chauffer et était sale a notre arrivé.

Situated in the centre of a lovely village. Staff were all friendly an helpful. Good size room with a kettle which is unusual in France.
The rooms are large, the configuration of the hotel with the interior courtyard made it possible to store our bikes there. In our room the bedding was not great and the ventilation was a little noisy, but overall it was very good. Breakfast is very good, special mention for the juicer! 8km from the beaches of Géraudot, the location is ideal.

We loved our short stay at the Tadorne in Piney. We had a very friendly reception and really enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast. The ambience of the hotel was friendly warm and comfortable. The only negative was a tricky entrance from the stairway to our room which would have been difficult with heavy luggage or for someone with infirmity. But the building is 18th century and we only stayed overnight. Our room was very comfortable with huge beds !

Efficiency, speed and good humor
Arrived late on a cold November night. Hotel (inside areas) was warm, bed was comfortable, hotel was quiet, despite position - significant attention had been paid to soundproofing and thermal insulation. Food was excellent.
Very warm welcome, warm hotel, kitchen. Excellent congratulations to the cooks. Only the rooms require refreshing but not very serious these very pleasant days. I'll be back.

Jacuzzi tub in 10 was lovely though the soap dispenser is mounted too high up the wall and the flooring has yet to be completed
No 9 had a pre made pull out bed for the children and they were happy not to share a bed

Not sure how recently the No 10 room had been dusted- fly graveyard in the windows, not all Sockets worked and the bed side light switch not working or no bulb- too tired to investigate further.
So a little tlc is needed but the respite provided from the Le Shuttle 5hr delays was well received we would use this as an overnight stopoff to the alps again
The hotel is a bit dated. In the brochure there is a nice swimming pool, but it is on the other side of the road behind a wall and was not maintained. There were a lot of insects in it and there was a vacuum cleaner on the bottom that wasn't on. More guests could not find the pool and in the end no one used it. We had the family room. 1 bed was fine, but the sofa bed was of poor quality. No flannel fit around the mattress, so a sheet was placed on it. Sheets were clean, but blankets, comforter and bedspread dirty. Mattress was also too thin. The restaurant was good though. Had an excellent meal. With a few minor adjustments and some attention, you could turn this into a great hotel.
Room on the edge of a busy road, earplugs highly recommended.

The receptionist was BRILLIANT! Made us feel extremely welcome and nothing was too much trouble for her. Also she spoke excellent English!
The room was large and the beds and furniture was in good condition and comfortable.
However, the shower was not really fit for purpose as there was no curtain and it was too low on the wall. In addition the towels were poor quality - harsh and small.
The Hotel is located in a beautiful village, Unfortunately the village and hotel are blighted by being on a main truck route avoiding the Autoroute. The noise and danger caused by the amount of heavy traffic was excessive..
If the Hotel did not have a truck route outside and had better bathroom facilities we would recommend it.

The staff are very welcoming. The only problem we had in our room was the extractor fan in the bathroom did not turn off so it was noisy. The restaurant food is fantastic.

Room n° 9 was allocated to us... a priori satisfactory, it has some drawbacks: black and sticky marks on the floor of the alley (left side of the bed). Four windows had to be equipped with blackout blinds: only one worked, another remained inexorably lowered, the last two were absent, carefully stored at the bottom of a desk drawer!!! The room is very noisy: constant passage of trucks, the pillows are "light" and if the need arises, there is, in the closet, only one other pillow available instead of two. The bathroom is nice but I didn't manage to get the shower gel either at the sink or at the bathtub (or it didn't work, or I'm incompetent???). Finally, the hotel only offers 5 or 6 parking spaces, which is quite insufficient. Fortunately, these negative aspects are tempered by the quality of the breakfast and the meals (although some dishes on the menu were unavailable)... In short, overall, this hotel remains correct.
A quaint hotel set in a lovely village opposite a wonderful medieval market. It has an attached small swimming pool which was very welcome after a long drive. We had a wonderful evening meal here. Accommodation was basic but clean and comfortable and, unusually for France had tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom.

Slightly clunky booking process where changes were impossible to make without cancelling online and rebooking. Charming hotel in quite town, nice pool (across the road), helpful staff. Food was excellent and restaurant had several set menus including a very good vegetarian one with several choices. Restaurant and breakfast rooms both situated in old barns which have been beautifully remodelled to make good use of the features.
Fairly good hotel. Own. The swimming pool is in an annex next door, it's a shame. We ate in his restaurant. The quality of the food was very good. On the other hand, the service, despite the kindness and the smile, was very long. And the restaurant was not full!

Les responsables sont très gentils et font ce qu'ils peuvent pour atténuer les bruits de la route qui empêchent sincèrement de dormir lorsque votre chambre donne sur la route (l'été il fait chaud, sans climatisation on ouvre les fenêtres, c'est pire).
Première baignade : piscine infestée de guêpes noyées, nous avons dû nettoyer nous même avec l'epuisette laissée sur place. Le robot a été mis en route le lendemain, c'était beaucoup mieux.
Quasi plus de savons dans la chambre, obligés de réclamer deux fois, sans succès. Une jeune femme est venue toquer à la porte, peu aimable "je ne sais pas comment vous prenez votre douche, si vous en mettez partout, mais il y a une fuite à la réception !"
Nous n'avons pas mis d'eau partout, à noter au passage que pas de rideau de douche dans la salle de bains.
Lorsque nous demandons pour le savon pour la 3eme fois, la même jeune femme "oui je sais, vous voulez vraiment j'en remette?" (?... et bien oui)
A notre arrivée : un verre d'eau vide à moitié vide sur la table de nuit, qui appartenait certainement aux clients précédents...
Mauvaise expérience, heureusement adoucie par la qualité du repas et la gentillesse des patrons (les deux personnes les plus âgées que nous avons en tous cas supposés être les responsables)...
C'est dommage il y a un potentiel fou et le cadre est magnifique.
