Only decent hotel near the Niaux caves... Very old-fashioned and impersonal decoration
My husband and I were travelling with friends and stayed for one night at this charming hotel in Tarascon sur Ariege. The hotel was easy to find and had secure parking for the car. The rooms we had were comfortable, with modern decoration and modern bathroom fittings but still the hotel had an old world charm. We were welcomed in a courteous and efficient manner at Reception and were shown to our rooms by the owner/manager so that he could ensure that everything was to our liking. We all had a comfortable night’s sleep, enjoyed the first coffee of the morning in our rooms by using the Nespresso machine provided and then proceeded to have a delicious breakfast before heading on our way to the coast in this beautiful part of France. We certainly recommend this hotel and hope to return some day.

A very nice hotel on a busy road, but quiet during the night. The room was comfortable and newly decorated, the next door restaurant was very good.

I forgot to mention that the water in the bathroom sink (room 7) drains very slowly. The price of breakfast (€15) is overpriced... especially when I arrive at 9:20. Very nice hotel, the decor a little busy.
Charming hotel in the photos because in reality it is on the edge of a very busy and therefore very noisy road. If you are assigned room 11, do not accept. It is on the road side and on the ground floor. Impossible to sleep with the window open, especially since the restaurant customers park in front of your window to finish their end-of-meal discussions. The shower has no protection, so you have no choice but to soak the entire bathroom, but a squeegee is available to limit the damage! The swimming pool was not usable during our stay, so I don't see what justifies such a high price. Disappointing stay.

We spent 3 nights at this property and loved our stay. Our room located at the back of the mansion was quiet and charming. The manor has been restored with great taste - Aline is charming and gives valuable hiking advice
Splendid experience, retro style hotel but equipped with every comfort, very large, clean and quiet room. There is also a bidet in the bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff always with a smile.

Perfect welcome, regarding the bathroom there are missing towel holders when they are used and we want to reuse them without putting them on the floor. Otherwise perfect stay and thank you again.
Price is quite steep for a 3-star hotel. During this trip we had higher quality for the same price (or less) and better breakfast.

We werden vriendelijk ontvangen. De kamer was netjes maar benauwend klein. De badkamer was wel ruim en prettig. De balkondeuren waren heel leuk maar onbruikbaar want het hotel ligt aan een gigantisch drukke weg met daarachter een spoorlijn waar de trein overheen dendert. Behalve de stank die dat met meebrengt kan je elkaar bijna niet verstaan.
Het ontbijt was €15 p/p Dat was het zeker niet waard. Er lagen wat verschillende stukken brood, heel weinig. Ook wat kleine croissantjes en pain au chocolat maar dat kwam niet die ochtend van een bakkerij. Je gaat wel gevuld weg maar we hebben deze vakantie al voor het halve bedrag een beter ontbijt gehad.

Despite difficult personal physical circumstances, with a paralyzed leg, I was very satisfied with this hotel which makes me want to come back. Excellent telephone reception then on site, room arrangement and breakfast provided exceptionally. Large, very well equipped room. And the setting is magnificent. Beautiful old-fashioned manor house with a restaurant.

Le Manoir d'Agnes is a nice and comfortable hotel at the entrance of Tarascon-sur-Ariege. Good location for visiting the famous caves nearby (Niaux) and to explore the Pyrenees around Andorra. Well-maintained hotel with modern infrastructure in rooms and bathrooms. Adjacent to the hotel is a restaurant (separately managed) with restricted menu (lack of personnel) but with true gastronomic level. Breakfast is in buffet-style with plenty of choice (bread, cereals, yoghourt, fruit, eggs, ham/cheese). Good price/quality ratio. Strongly recommended.
A very friendly welcome on our arrival. The room was very comfortable, well furnished and clean. Bed very comfortable with good quality linen. A lovely continental breakfast. Unfortunately only a one night stop on a moto tour, we would have liked to stay longer.
The facade of the hotel creates expectations that are not fulfilled inside. The rooms are modern but lack charm and some major mistakes were made during the renovation, e.g. switches in the wrong places, toilets too high... The reception looks like a storage room, they probably wanted to give off a vintage look here, but that didn't work.

Very good hotel. Perfect bed, but small room. Surprised by the proximity to the fairly busy road. But no nuisance inside the room. Price a little high for this small room. On the other hand, the gourmet restaurant run by chef Jean Cazorla was a very pleasant surprise. We loved it and will come back with pleasure.

how to say, I can't really say what it was, I found the atmosphere a little special perhaps linked to unusual conditions in this place. In any case the hoteliers were welcoming, as I was the only one when I arrived, everything happened very quickly, I quickly got my key and was accompanied to my room quickly. It was spacious, very bright but a little noisy (background noise due to the proximity of a fairly busy road). In any case, it was comfortable, welcoming and somewhat personalized. I had a good night, the bed is comfortable. As for breakfast, for my needs, I found everything I needed.
We stayed on a Friday night and felt that the room was seriously overpriced. Overall the renovations done a number of years ago were done very well but now a bit of maintenance in places wouldn’t go amiss. We’ve stayed here a few times and the restaurant is very good. Still can’t understand why I don’t get Logis points in the restaurant.
