One of my most favorite Logis.
This is exactly what I expect from a small hotel restaurant off the beaten track, the welcome is charming, the rooms are clean, functional and pleasant, prefer the countryside side to enjoy a very relaxing bucolic picture, the restaurant is well designed like the whole hotel and we had a very good dinner for a very reasonable price. Bravo to the whole establishment, you honor your profession.

On a stopover, this hotel has excellent rooms with very satisfactory services, a little noise for the rooms on the road side but nothing unpleasant. I am less of a fan of the "gourmet" restaurant which presented us with rather local services (terrine, grilled ham, ice cream sundae in a bowl) with an ultra too fast service (1 hour for amuse bouche, starter, main course and dessert), it was a little disappointing..On the other hand, nothing to say about the top breakfast!

The hotel was very welcoming and its position excellent, we are always happy to drive a few miles from the main autoroutes, and this was a delightful find. Especially on a Sunday its restaurant was open for the evening and we very much enjoyed good food and warm welcome. Our room was excellent and comfortable, with all we needed. A great find. Gave this full stars for all the questions, unusual, but it’s well deserved.

A beautiful hotel in a quiet location. The reception was very friendly. The room was big enough and very clean. We enjoyed dinner on a cozy terrace with very attentive staff. The breakfast was very plentiful. What we particularly liked was the extremely cheerful lady in the breakfast room. That's the perfect way to start the day.

The room was fine. There are no bar facilities as such but the restaurant was great and we had the best meal of our trip there. Delightful to wake to the sound of cows mooing in the adjacent field
Despite the hotel being closed that evening, the reception reserved a table for us in the town inn and we were received very correctly and cordially. Only one small downside, the width of the twin beds...a little too narrow, otherwise, we will come back.

Nice hotel with a good restaurant, very friendly service, well-behaved, cuddly hotel dog, room with balcony and beautiful view. When I was there it was being renovated, but it caused little disruption. Only the beds weren't quite as comfortable. Ideal for a stopover. If you travel with your dog, you can take it to the restaurant and for breakfast, and you can easily go for a walk around the hotel.

Our room was very comfortable and we appreciated the air conditioning. The staff were very friendly and kind. Breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed a delicious evening meal. We hightly recommend the restaurant which has a lovely terrace - perfect for a warm evening. We stayed overnight en route to Italy and returned for the last night of our holiday because it was so good.

Very pleasant stay in Chaource to visit the surroundings, very friendly staff and we enjoyed both dinners: very neat presentation, great recipes and there is enough to eat (we had crisscrossed the surroundings by bike). A great surprise !

The hotel is undergoing renovations, but our room was fine. The staff, a little condescending when you disagree with them, is quite annoying. The restoration is ordinary and not really at the top. Food not cooked enough and is not really corresponding to what is expected, I think it is industrialized dishes and simply reheated

De eigenaar is zeer hartelijk en geeft je het gevoel dat je echt welkom bent.
De kamers zijn ruim , schoon, voorzien van regelbare Airco en hebben een schitterend uitzicht over de landerijen.
Ontbijt is zeker voor franse begrippen uitgebreid en gewoon goed te noemen.
Behalve de locale specialiteiten op de restaurantkaart staat er ook een heuse pizza oven .

Excellent hotel, very helpful and friendly staff, very good kitchen. Breakfast is a treat, you can even make your own orange juice! The rooms are spacious, good bathroom with walk-in shower and a separate toilet.
I chose this hotel for its location and accessibility as travelling with my elderly mother. The hotel room was lovely with a balcony overlooking fields. We were able to use the balcony and it was so relaxing! Definitely recommend this type of room. We had a lovely stay and will definitely look to return again when we are back in the area.

The room hotel was very poor with spiderwebs in the room, a showerhead that is not working, wallpaper that is coming of the walls and uncomfortable old beds. In addition, we did not have hot water and were locked out of our room in the night due to the keycard that was not functioning.
External doors to balcony did not lock and corridor door did not shut properly so it seemed locked but wasn’t. Both security risks.

Perfect hotel for stopping on the way to the Alps. First class dinner and breakfast.. Room more than adequate for a stopover. Staff welcoming and hotel good value for money. I have also had excellent evening meals and one of the best breakfasts I can remember 👍
To recommend, just a downside for the evening stopover: it would be nice to have the choice between at least 2 dishes and if possible starters and desserts.

Despite details at the time of booking, I had to request a double room with bath. The first room allocated was a twin with shower. Upon entering it was freezing cold. The second assigned room (double with bath) had been heated. On the other hand, a pipe smell was clearly perceptible. The bathtub being devoid of stopper, it was unusable. Many hairs smeared the bottom. The service dryer was also faulty. This room being freezing, the door had to be left open to increase the temperature when showering. On the other hand, the two meals were of very good quality. The work of the kitchen is to be welcomed. Similarly, the girl at the reception made efforts to try to resolve the situation, without success.
Very good hotel for overnight stay on way to Tignes, Alpine skiing; good rooms, fabulous food, good value, what more could you want?
