Nice quiet room in a very beautiful village. Wonderful to wake up here, take a little walk, and continue your journey. The breakfast was mainly processed food, which is a pity, but I am difficult when it comes to food ;)

Somewhat remote but lovely little hotel with good food

Very nice welcome in a charming inn. The host had reserved a place for us in the restaurant in the evening where we ate very well in a pretty setting. Small charming village very quiet, perfect to regain energy after a long day in the car.

Hotel in a nice little village. Clean and functional room (hairdryer, fan, tea and coffee making facilities). "Cabinet" bathroom surprising at first but has the merit of providing a private bathroom.

More than worth the price. Large, clean room with good beds and very down-to-earth regional cuisine with a lot of French flair. Where else can you get a cheese platter that stays on the table and then dessert? Here, yes!

Unspeakable welcome; never had a very regular customer of Logis. No possibility of arriving after 9 p.m. and restaurant closed at 8:45 p.m. Received very curtly, telling us that we had to find out beforehand even though we called 4 hours before our arrival to warn us that we would have to arrive 30 minutes late. On-site off-site comments moved. To be eliminated (damage to property).

Nice room, clean, good welcome but cramped bathroom

Warm and friendly welcome. Good food and good service (though, the girl still has to learn to uncork the bottles ;) ). Accommodation in a typical French countryside house: very picturesque. The only flaw: the bathroom, given how it is made, could have been a little bigger. Room with the necessary comforts, better than many higher-rated hotels: kettle and water, wardrobe for clothes, extra blankets, bathroom with everything needed for the guest (even glasses to put the toothbrush in, now a rarity!). Quite varied breakfast, something for all tastes. Perhaps the wi-fi could be improved a little, also because it was a business trip, so it was needed. Overall, very satisfied!!!

Convenient for heading to French skiing. Accommodation simple but perfectly adequate. Straightforward dinner menu generally well cooked. (Our third visit so a bit of variability!) Good continental breakfast.

Very nice lady on reception and Resturant service

It’s worth a 10-15 detour off the motorway to spend a night here. This was our second visit. Small village with a river flowing through it, and the Auberge is in the centre. Pretty and inviting, with a large and yet cosy bar as you walk in. Wood fire. The bar doubles as where you eat, which feels nice. The rooms are 50 metres up the road. Ours both times was no.6, spacious, very clean, comfy bed, quiet. Our dog was with us and loved a walk before bed and in the morning along the river bank, trembling with excitement at the 10 big ducks paddling up and down.

Food is perfectly good for a night driving up from the south to the north. You can ask for many wines by the glass which we appreciated. The only slight niggle was you are told it’s a 31 euro menu with four courses inc cheese. No alternatives are mentioned - I remembered it was the same on our last visit. It was only when I said I’d just like two courses that was then also offered. I know little hotels need to make some money and it can be a tough business but it would have felt nicer to be offered an alternative to the 31 euro four course menu without having to ask for it.

Small main course and a dessert for 28 euros in the middle of the countryside was steep for what it was when four courses was 31. I should have mentioned it at the time, perhaps it was a mistake. Husband had an excellent cheeseboard.

Heel vriendelijke ontvangst. Heel sfeervol restaurant met prima eten. Goed ontbijt. Locatie in een gehucht zoals Frankrijk vroeger was. Prachtig!

Simple room, but lovely bed and everything available, even coffee/tea service (unusual in Europe). Maybe a new armchair? This was worn/broken on the railing and it looks shabby. Not necessary and a shame.

We had to wait for two hours to check-in and we weren't advise of this at time of booking. We advised the hotel when we made our dinner reservation that one of us was vegetarian. This was ignored and there was no provision to cater for a vegetarian. I asked for an omelette and was told this was not possible . I was given eggs on mashed potato. My husband explaned that he is allergic to mushrooms and asked the waitress if there were mushrooms in the chicken dish, she told us that there weren't. When the dish came to our table we saw that this was not the case and we had to send the dish back. It was a very disappointing evening.

Auberge de campaign sympa dans un village paisible. Room space, clean and calm. Excellent food in the restaurant. The information about the problem is based on the number of minor failures (wifi failure; the transportation system is not functioning properly, but is fast during the operation of the petit déjeuner). On a new day and on your way to revenir!

This is an authentic countryside hotel, located just 10+ mins from the highway. The host is friendly. The room has everything that you need for a stop-over. The restaurant is just 50 meters away from your room. They serve great food, offer a good wine card, and local beer. The breakfast is superb.
It's a rural and original setting!

Disappointed that after phoning early to say that our arrival would be a little after 9pm - due to traffic- that they would be unable to provide us with any food, even cold, & that we needed to get there before 9:30pm to check in. We managed this but absolutely no food on offer, not even bread & cheese!

The rooms are small and a little tired but clean and comfortable. The restaurant is charming, the staff friendly and the dinner a delicious set of local dishes served with generous helpings. A warm welcome on a cold evening.

Great discovery in a very pretty little town of Hte Marne. The welcome is great, the food is very good. The place is worth the detour and with a little luck you can sleep there with the general!

The room was clean, comfortable and tidy, the food was fabulous and there was a warm welcome. The only complaint was that the skylight window didn’t let in much of a breeze, however it was a very hot day/evening and the room did have a fan for our use.

Bed was big and good, clean room, the dinner was very good and the service friendly.

Nice hotel, good reception. Doesn't open until 5:30pm though. Conviviality comes first. Good service, good dinner and breakfast was also to your liking. For a transit to a holiday address, a great break from the journey.

Excellent find, really comfortable hotel in a beautiful rural village. Quality bedding, pleasant room, and very friendly welcome. The restaurant offers typical French cuisine of very good quality, to be taken quietly on the terrace. Beautiful bike rides. Make in the corner on small quiet country roads. Only downside, the church bell that rings every 1/2 hour throughout the night. .

Just an overnight stay while walking The Via Francigena. Due to the fact this hotel is on the Via Francigena route and other amenities are limited within the area, it would be ideal to allow check in to be available before 1730.

What a wonderful little 300 year old hostel! There's a large but very cosy, attractive, well-stocked and welcoming bar where we ate a good meal in the evening - the vegetable soup was truly superb… our room had a huge comfy bed and the room was attractive and clean. It's in the center of the well kept village and it was easy to walk the dog before dinner. We've been looking for somewhere to break our journey between England and Provence as we do the trip three times a year and at last we've found it. It's worth the 10-15 min detour from the motorway.
