Everything is perfect... The welcome, the decoration, the garden, the breakfast, the surroundings... Nothing to complain about, we loved it and we will come back.

Exceptional hotel with a beautiful courtyard with lots of seating to enjoy a drink or even a meal. The apartment had all you needed to prepare a simple meal. The bed was so comfortable. There was a secure room to store our bikes and a swimming pool. The breakfast was exceptional with many local or home made products. I especially like the French toast with walnuts. Francois and his wife were wonderful hosts.

Excellent hotel that stands out from the majority of other Logis de France hotels. Beautiful building in a quiet village. Spacious room with excellent bedding. Top breakfast. The price of everything is well below the quality of all the services. Congratulations to the team and thank you for your kindness.

All the staff are available, friendly and very qualified, the setting is perfect and the dinner options in the form of hot pots are very much appreciated if you don't want to dine outside.

Have stayed here before unfortunately the restaurant is now closed but now provides a choice
of food prepared by local company and served by them, limited choice and no kids menu, food is ok but takes away the ambience the hotel used to have
which is a shame

Warm welcome, absolute calm and superb decoration. Only downside An unindicated difference in level in a sound room which caused a regrettable fall.

The atmosphere of the common rooms and lounges is calm and full of charm. The courtyard, the garden and the terrace filled with plant flowers help to make breakfasts and dinners very pleasant moments. The breakfast is delicious. Enchanting stay thanks also to the very attentive and available owners and staff.

Beautiful, go ahead

We only had a one night stop, en route to our holiday, but wish we could have stayed longer. The couple running this hotel could not have been more welcoming or charming.

We had unfortunately run over a pheasant on our journey, which was stuck right in the car radiator! The hotel owner went out of his way to remove it for us, and clean the front of the car, before we set off on our travels. This was beyond the call of duty, and so kind of him.

We shall certainly stay there again.

My wife and I love this hotel. This year we stayed for a second time having enjoyed our first visit so much. The rooms are spacious and clean with a king sized bed. We also made use of the lovely outdoor pool. Also we have a collie dog and she was made welcome ...but not too use the pool, much to her disappointment😂.

Excellent welcome. Large and very well equipped bedroom and bathroom. Warm and family atmosphere, beautiful garden, living room like at home. The owners are very attentive. It's a shame that there is no restaurant, but the jars available are of good quality and we had a pleasant dinner.

Hotel in a charming residence, quiet and comfortable. Very nice home. Quality breakfast with “homemade” products. I keep this address for work, but why not for a family stay. No restaurant, but Bocaux are available for dining on site. Too bad I only found out about it on site.

A very beautiful establishment, classy vintage. A very warm, caring welcome. Beautiful, spacious and well-appointed/decorated rooms. In the evening, it is possible to order really good local jars. And what about the large living room with its fireplace! A cocoon of softness and charm! I really recommend this establishment!

It would be good if the hotel could ask the commune to install one or two electric vehicle chargers near the chourch.

Despite staffing problems it would be better if the hotel could offer a limited menu of cooked dinners.

La Tonnellerie is a very pleasant Logis, we are very well received there, we eat well and the hosts know how to welcome us!

Very short stay because in transit from the east to the west of the country. Very pleasant stopover which makes us want to come back to this hotel for a little longer to discover the surrounding environment. Heartwarming welcome.

Charming hotel in an environment of character The owners are passionate about their profession as hoteliers and have implemented a very beautiful ecological approach, responsible for the environment with exclusively local and “homemade” products.

everything was perfect: the welcome, the room (suite), the aperitif on the terrace, the simple and tasteful dinner, the breakfast with lots of choice and excellent products. We appreciated the calm and charm of the courtyard, but we did not take advantage of the beautiful heated outdoor swimming pool, that will be for next time...

We had stopped off at this charming hotel several times before Covid. We weren't disappointed, it's still great!

Very pleasant establishment

Wonderful 9 night stay! Everything was perfect ! Home, quietly equipped studio, shaded side, cool! Magnificent setting with various terrace areas, gardens and swimming pool. Small quiet village close to the "Eaux Bleues", a magnificent site for walks! Highly recommend! Absence of private parking but filled by a parking lot close by. Nothing to complain about! Perfect ! We even extended our stay by days, that is to say....Beautiful establishment in a green and soothing environment. Stay to renew and advise! THANKS.

Beautiful small hotel with very friendly staff. Breakfast is delicious all local and home made. Evening snacks are like a meal. Swimming pool is lovely. We will come back to this great place.

La Tonnellerie is a very special place to stay. It has charm, warmth and character. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of breads, pastries, meats, cheeses, and house-made jams and yoghurts.. We received a warm welcome and very pleasant service. We were impressed with the aim to use local and organic produce, where possible, and with the general environmental awareness of the proprietors.

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche mit einem super Service, sehr saubere und angenehme Zimmer, kleine Speisekarte aber sehr feine Abendessen mit einer tollen Weinkarte, toller Pool und Garten genossen. Great hotel, very clean. Very good beds. Friendly staff. Just a pity that the "real" restaurant has ceased. Still a very small menu with tasty dishes but not nearly what it used to be. Went back to this hotel partly because of the very good restaurant. Found out too late that the restaurant as such was no longer operating. That was a disappointment despite the tasty but very limited dishes. If you've already driven so much in one day, you don't feel like looking for a restaurant in the next village.

Excellent stay in a hotel remarkable for its green setting. Magnificent swimming pool available. Very friendly welcome and always ready to help and advise you. We came last year for a short stay and this year we came back again because this hotel is really of good quality.

From first to last our stay was a joy. We were welcomed by the owners, Francois & Helene, who helped us with our cases and showed us around. Throughout our stay they, and all the staff, were attentive and friendly. Excellent facilities and the food was incredibly fresh and delicious. Hard to beat!

Very friendly and service minded hosts. Helped us rent bikes and suggested some good routes. Hotel is clean, quiet and very tasteful. We extended our stay - that is how much we enjoyed it.

We are letting you in on a secret: a nugget is hiding in Tavers: La Tonnellerie run - with talent and good taste - by Hélène and François. Don't hesitate to enjoy it WITHOUT moderation as everything is appreciated: the decor of an old cooperage, a vintage bourgeois house elegantly revisited in a 21st century way with a REAL concern for preserving the environment, a marvelous little garden (I I'm a little jealous ...), ... Only one regret: we arrived too late and couldn't enjoy the evening menu .... so we'll have to come back!

Tutti bravissimi, gentilissimi, professionisti al top. Tutto il cibo comes from the piccoli produttori locali. Colazione straordinaria, con 6 marmellate e yogurt di produzione propria; il miele, le uova, i formaggi, gli affettati, il pane ei croissant freschi ogni giorno, cosi' like la macedonia di frutta fresca. Una delizia! La sera propongono una piccola ristorazione fatta di pochi piatti semplici ma buonissimi, anche loro preparati con ingredienti freschi e locali. Abbiamo cenato tutte le 3 sere! Le camere pulitissime, luminose, funzionali e arredate con gusto. Also il nostro Spaniel Sunny e' stato accolto con simpatia e si e' divertito nello splendido giardino. Bellissime passeggiate proprio a due passi. Grazie ancora, speriamo di tornare!

We just left La Tonnellerie and are so grateful with Helene and her husband, owners and managers of the hotel. Their professionalism, their care for us and their flexibility with our two children (7 and10), were outstanding. The hotel is very nice, with an antique atmosphere and full of details.
