We were very satisfied. A beautiful, large bedroom with a large bathroom with a large shower. There are very beautiful forests around the hotel. Fantastic. The food in the hotel is also very good. We drove a detour of almost 50 km for the hotel on the way home from the Mediterranean. It was worth it. We slept very well.

We stayed at this hotel a few years ago and came back because we were very satisfied. Now we are disappointed. The hotel needs to be renovated. Our room had traces of damp on the walls, the shower needs to be renovated. The hotel is not air-conditioned, which is no longer an option these days. The nights were very, very hot, we wanted to sleep with the windows open and the shutters closed (on the garden level) but the invasive ivy prevented us from doing so.... I had to unblock the shower myself, the siphon was blocked by hair!!! It is impossible to call the staff when you are in the shower and the water risks overflowing and flooding the bathroom. It is surprising that the maintenance staff did not notice!! In short, we will not stay at this establishment again and will not recommend it.

A great stop on the way back from vacation in a Van. Brilliant welcome and full of humor, very pleasant swimming pool, perfect Chardonnay... Restaurant menu and impeccable staff service. The only negative points would be: smell of humidity in the room, presence of many flies as well, as well as the bedding which is showing its age. But this in no way spoiled our more than pleasant stay.

We got the hotel via a friend who had stayed here before. We had a very good experience. We stayed here only for 1 night, during our trip to the south. We had a family room, which was very practical since we have 3 young children. Dinner and breakfast were both very good, definitely worth for money!

I made my reservation in October 2023 so I could stay for the Tour De France. I received a confirmation email at the time of booking. When I arrived at the hotel I was told there was no reservation. I showed the person my reservation and it was dismissed. I was left with no room for the night with zero notice.

All you need is something to make a little coffee in your room (kettle and instant coffee)
The hotel gives the impression that they had suffered through the Covid years and are now renovating and updating. The stall were delightful and all of the worked very hard to cope with our awful French! The food was also excellent.
We plan to return next year..

Good experience. I had been to the restaurant a few years ago, but never to the hotel. The only downside (which is minimal) is the glass door to the bathroom which does not close properly and the fact that it is glass floods the room with light when waking up at night or early in the morning. The other occupant does not always appreciate it. Otherwise, nothing to say about the rest. Everything was good, even very good.

It’s a picturesque and charming stopover. The room is comfortable. The welcome was warm and the meals we had were of good quality. We recommend anyone like us who makes a stopover to visit the memorial.

Very disappointed with the welcome we received, this is the 4th time we have come to this hotel and we were very happy with it, however the person who received us for dinner on February 13 told us: "what 'do you want to ?" although we had seen him 2 hours before to reserve our dinner table, then he wanted to seat us in the first restaurant room next to the front door even though the restaurant room was empty and the other times we We have always been well received in the large restaurant room, this morning for breakfast the door was not set even though the staff knew that we would be having breakfast.
There was no one there to meet us. We had to go and stand in the restaurant and wait for a member of staff to appear. The next day we realised the man sat in the bar was one of the chefs. He completely ignored us. That is so rude. We had a quote for a total of 95.00 euros on an email but was charged 123.00. When I questioned this at the hotel upon our departure, all of a sudden, no one could speak English!!! If you are local and French, I’m sure this would be a lovely place to stay. If you are British, don’t bother.
Only one menu plus a professional stay It's a bit tight
It is a lovely little traditional hotel with lots of character, excellent food and very good service. The room & bed were very comfortable & the room was nicely furnished to blend with the age of the hotel. It was also very spacious. The bathroom was excellent with modern walk-in shower etc. All in all an excellent stay and very good value.

The hotel is very well located for visiting the Boisserie and the memorial even on foot, plus the staff is very attentive and warm, especially in the morning at breakfast, very pleasant person. We have no problem recommending this establishment.

Perfect welcome - excellent meals with great quality products and very well cooked - there were 30 of us at the evening meal and everyone was very satisfied with the dishes, believe me the plates were empty - super pleasant room with very nice decor - we were delighted with our stay and we will return there if we were to go to Colombey - part of our group was also staying at the hotel and I can tell you that they were also very very happy with their stay - if it If we had to rate this establishment as a whole, we would give it 10/10. Lovely rooms and great restaurant
We received a very friendly welcome, the meal was excellent and the breakfast with, among other things, baguette and a delicious croissant for every cracking ban, was perfect.
A traditional Logis in all ways. An old building with good basic accommodation, clean and comfortable with a good restaurant as well. The staff are cheerful and helpful. We've stayed here several times on our way back to Calais in this beautiful region on the edge of Champagne. So whilst not so many Brits will be too interested in Charles de Gaulle's tomb, the artisan baker opposite and the excellent champagne house, Peligri, 100 meters up the road is a real bonus.

A renewed experience, a very hearty meal
We really like this hotel, which is very well placed to break up our usual journey between Haute Savoie and Calais and vice versa. Especially in summer when the swimming pool is open, to relax after hours of driving! In addition, restaurants that open on Sunday evening are rare, and we eat well here. It should be noted that the meals are COPIOUS! We've stopped there three times now, and it won't be the last.

Room #1 noisy with road noise
Overall a very happy stay. We slept well, the evening meal was excellent with a good choice of wines and the staff were all delightfullly pleasant and efficient. Excellent value for money.
Hotel chosen for its location as well as price and because the hotel has a restaurant.
We have stayed here before. The rooms are big with excellent bathrooms. The small swimming pool is a definite plus. Overall this is a good hotel. The restaurant serves good food at a reasonable price. Breakfast was good and available from 7.30 as promised.
It was however disappointing that when we asked to dine in the main dining room that we were told that this was not possible and that we could choose between a conservatory and outside terrace. This was more galling as we later observed another group dining at a table in the formal dining room. On the plus side, service was swift and efficient.
A sevond concern was that my wife's sleep was badly disturbed by a very loud, drunken group of young men who were sitting at outside tables until gone 2.30 in the morning. I can only assume that there is no on site overnight presence at this hotel. This is clearly a concern.
My wife had good internet connection - but I scarcely had any at all.
Everything was very good: the hotel, its location, the cleanliness of the room and its equipment, the swimming pool, the dinner in the restaurant and the breakfast. We also really appreciated the very pleasant welcome from the staff.
No welcome, on arrival a note on the door advising that the whole place was closed that night… restaurant, bar, cafe,, basic access to water, coffee, etc. all facilities completely closed, garden view, an overgrown verge next to a road. No apology for lack of facilities on payment.

WE reserved a superior room and on arrival were given a much smaller room and then charged the full price. Dinner was ok but we stayed here 5 years ago and our whole experience was much better then. Breakfast was ok but not exceptional. Won't stay here again. Just seems a little tired and lack lustre.

Accommodation good, as we remembered from previous stay. Restaurant was very busy for dinner and taking orders was consequently slow, as was serving of aperitif. Brioche for foie gras appeared several minutes later than the plate. Staff were apologetic.

We changed our arrival date (1 day earlier) by notifying the hotel by phone 5 days before. 2 calls in the morning to have the agreement of the hotel manager and the certainty of having 2 free rooms. For information, the restaurant is closed on Sundays but it is possible to eat with a partner. Arrival at the hotel 5:00 p.m. and the person on duty at the reception (which closes at 5:30 p.m.) imagine that I arrive at 6:00 p.m.!!! No trace of our arrival because message not passed between colleagues. Luckily there are still rooms available. This is our third visit to the hotel and it is very sad to note that the lack of staff has a strong impact on the proper functioning of this beautiful establishment and penalizes its customers. Thank you to the reception staff for their warm welcome and kindness as well as to the person in charge of breakfast in the morning.

A real Provence ambions
WE ARRIVED AFTER A 500 KM DRIVE TO BE TOLD THAT THE RESTAURANT WAS CLOSED...AND THERE WAS NOTHING IN THE VILLAGE OPEN.NEAREST RESTAURANT WAS IN CHAUMONT(A 25KM DRIVE AWAY) APPARENTLY THE HOTEL HAD SENT US A WARNING MESSAGE BUT WE NEVER RECEIVED IT.
I DIDNT FEEL LIKE DRIVING ANOTHER 50KM AS I WAS TIRED AND HOT.....HOWEVER THE BAR WAS CLOSED TOO!...THE RECEPTIONIST DIDNT SAY THAT THE BAR WAS OPEN EITHER,....SO WE WALKED INTO THE VILLAGE NEAR THE CHURCH AND FOUND THE ONLY BAR OPEN....NO,NO FOOD AVAILABLE,...SO WE WENT HUNGRY THAT EVENING.
Almost zero service. Arrived late Sunday afternoon, key was on the door, but reception closed. Room with electrical non-conformities, moldy shower seals, very soft mattress… In addition, even if we had been warned on Friday afternoon, catering unavailable on Sunday evening, contrary to the indications on the site. In conclusion, a very bad experience, a hotel unworthy of its classification and, in our opinion, not deserving of inclusion on the O Logis website.

We were already in this hotel before. The room was very clean and comfortable. The meal at the restaurant made us want to come back this year. We liked the room like the first time. The lady at breakfast was super nice. The evening meal, on the other hand, disappointed us. Mediocre food, mediocre service.
We had booked this hotel as a stopover on our way back from our vacation dated 02.15.2023 for a stopover night from June 6 to 7, 2023 .. When we arrived on site on June 6, we found the door closed and a notice pasted on the door to inform us that, exceptionally, the restaurant would be closed in the evening and that for more details and to have access to the rooms, the occupants informed on the list should contact the mobile phone number mentioned! ! ! ! ! ! I should point out that we had reserved a table at the restaurant for the evening meal when we made our reservation at the hotel. Having therefore made contact by telephone (fortunately we had a mobile phone), it was confirmed to us that the restaurant was indeed closed and that it was up to us to find a solution to restore us in the surroundings or even the localities (cities if possible ) nearby because there is little chance of finding a restaurant open in the evening in the nearby villages! ! ! ! ! ! Regarding access to our room, we were informed of its location, telling us that the key was on the door. According to the words of my interlocutor, a telephone contact would have been tried in vain (no answer since we were on vacation and the number called could not be communicated to us) to warn us of this situation. Having inquired with other people in the same situation as us, it appeared that it was only the Belgian reservists who were in this situation????? It was about fifteen km (Bar-sur-Aube) that we were finally able to find a restaurant for our evening meal. I can only express my disappointment with the welcome we received where we hoped to rest after a day on the road before continuing our return. If I can understand that an unforeseen event is always possible, I cannot admit that no one was there to receive us and that no solution was considered to deal with the closure of the restaurant while we were there. had reserved a table. It was not until the next morning that the riddle of the telephone could be solved following the dissatisfaction that I displayed when I paid my bill; indeed, at my request, I was able to know the number which had been called and to have been able to note that the number entered did not correspond to a standard telephone number, namely: international code (00 or +) followed by the code of the country called (here 32 for Belgium) followed finally by the complete number called. During the call, the country code had been entered twice hence the error ........ According to the landlady she had received the number as it was from "Logis" and therefore could not be held responsible for the missed call. I checked the call made to the second Belgian couple and the same error had been produced. Sorry for this incident because the setting of the hotel was pleasant, but I will never be able to forget that no one was scheduled to welcome us and redirect us to another establishment to eat. Deplorable ......... In addition, the information provided in the room did not correspond to reality with regard to the Wifi access code. Finally, I deplore that no commercial gesture has been proposed to mitigate the inconvenience incurred. Who is responsible, Logis or the hotel? ? ? ? ? ?
Excellent address. Spacious and comfortable room (a wooden floor would be ideal). Impeccable cleanliness. Kindness and availability of staff. Restaurant with a very good menu and very good value for money. We recommend the breakfast (fresh orange juice, excellent bread and pastries)

Very large and well furnished room. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Added bonus was a bath, just what you need after a long drive. Dog friendly. All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and will stay again.
