Had to call to receive access to this hotel. The restaurant was marked "on vacation", but the nice ladies prepared an excellent dinner for us, including excellent wine. The room was small, but clean. The car garage in order. Pierrefort is a nice little place, very quiet, clean.
I initially chose this hotel for its ideal location for exploring Cantal, neighboring Aveyron and southern Auvergne. Being a biker, his large garage weighed in the choice. Then I discovered the hotel, simple but comfortable, the magnificent restaurant and the family that runs the establishment. Gilles' cooking, the kindness of Marie-Noelle and Sylvie won me over and I have been loyal to the Hôtel du Midi for nearly twenty years. As a couple or in a group, I come here at least once a year for a friendly and gastronomic break. This establishment is definitely worth a visit.
