The accommodations are clean, well equipped and perfect for a quiet rest. The hearty breakfasts with local products help you set off for a new day. We recommend the small jars.

Charming hotel, as it is rare to find! We were welcomed with smiles, sympathy and trust...comfortable, elegant, even cozy room (little attentions: small cakes, water, postcard of the region...), very complete breakfast at 10 e!!; in the evening, after going out, possibility of drinking coffee, tea, infusions by simply putting 1 euro in a piggy bank...we will come back if we pass by there!

We only stayed one night, arriving late on our arrival day. Staff made arrangements for this. A good continental breakfast set us up for the day. Would be an excellent base for a longer stay to tour the area. We would return.

Hotel well located for visiting the Loire castles. All rooms are on the ground floor, which is nice for some people. The hotel does not have a restaurant but you only have to walk 100 m. to discover a small restaurant that deserves to be known (Au gré du vent)

Wonderful hotel in a small town. The staff have been wonderful and helpful when I asked questions during my stay. The rooms are clean, shower has plenty of hot water and there are tables and chairs outside of each room to sit and enjoy the day or evening. The hotel also has an assortment of snacks, soft drinks, beer and wine in the reception area, along with a fridge to put any of your personal item that need refrigeration. I did not have breakfast but did make use of the coffee machine in the morning. This hotel is on my list for a return visit and I suggest you give it a look.

Very nice hotel with a terrace right next to the room. Friendly staff, although some spoke little English, which made communication difficult at times. Great breakfast with regional products. We drove past the producer (Croc du Merle) to stock up for home. The only thing was the coffee, as is often the case in this area, not so great.

The setting is good, the warm welcome, the breakfast rather qualitative. The room is comfortable (we would appreciate an outlet near the bedside table) and would be even more so if the door better insulated noise from outside, particularly from the nearby road. My husband bought a bottle of soda at reception (very nice to have cold drinks available) and was very disappointed to find that this local drink contained no less than 6 additives.

The area is extremely beautiful, and if you are traveling through the Atlantic and/or would like to see a few castles, the Loire Valley is the perfect place for you. The layout of the hotel is really great, our three-bed room was very spacious, the room also had a small table with three chairs on the terrace. The overnight stay is definitely worth the money: quiet, clean and a friendly host.

I like to sleep in rooms with windows. There is no such thing here and you have to leave the door fully open to get air at night. Unfortunately, the door cannot be tilted either. The rooms are badly soundproofed, even at night some humming device jumps on irregularly for a few seconds. I've been woken up by it multiple times. Our AC was off so I don't know what it was. There is a hot water tank behind a door, maybe this is the culprit. Unfortunately it cannot be switched off. Breakfast was good, garden is nice, everything was very clean and newly renovated, good location near the castles. When I heard the name "Hotel du Chateau" I had imagined something different than a house in a normal housing estate. Priced - considering the breakfast - too high.

In the morning, a bit noisy on the road side compared to the rooms on the garden side.

Hotel well located in a pretty village easily accessible but a little out of the way what I was looking for. Very friendly welcome and the formula allows you, for example, to take your own meals in the dining room, which is free 24 hours a day. A great deal of confidence reigns in the design of the reception (few security systems) which would be impossible in urbanized places or places with high levels of delinquency.
