Warm welcome and well-located hotel, in the heart of Embrun, I recommend
Very well located hotel, right in the center of Embrun, close to all the hiking, trail and bike trail departure points... a must for enthusiasts!
The hotel was overall good but unfortunately we decided to eat in the restaurant because Logis hotels usually have a good reputation. It was the worst meal I have ever had and worse than most school meals. Never again. The chef was not a chef, we ordered and in 3 minutes were presented with a tepid plate of pre-prepared food that I was embarrassed to see. We sent it back, it was warmed through and even sent to the wrong table. Realizing the mistake it was then brought to our table. No apology or anything. The quality was terrible. The head waiter when we said we were very disappointed shrugged his shoulder and said “other people like it” I have spent 40 years in the hospitality field, 3 years in France and this was THE absolute worst I am sorry to report.
