Top hotel! I go back there every time I travel to Mayenne

The shower cubicle had black mold all around the bottom. The grout in between the tiles was dirty. The breakfast was very poor. We have had far better in budget hotels. One cup of coffee which with the addition of cold milk, the only available choice, made the coffee tepid.

PITY THERE IS NO COFFEE MAKER IN THE ROOMS FOR MORNING COFFEE

Unfortunately there wasnt sufficient and clear advice that the restaurant was closed Sunday pm and Monday.

Very good experience: friendly and friendly atmosphere in the restaurant and we had a great time! Spacious and clean room in a very pretty setting with a view of Mayenne. The staff takes great care

If there is nothing to complain about the catering part, the Etape menu was excellent, I am less enthusiastic about the room with its 2 small beds! Indeed today most hosts offer a 160X200 bed even for solo travelers, a 90 bed is a step backwards compared to the competition, plus the room is a little lacking in electrical outlets, nevertheless on the entire stay and the value for money remain a good destination.

Beau Shore is very friendly! We sleep well there and eat very well. The team is very friendly, the service is exceptional. The decoration and equipment of the rooms is a bit limited, a kettle with tea, coffee, herbal teas would be a plus. The Wifi is, on the other hand, very laborious...and the TV is very, very small. I will come back without any worries!

Very pleasant welcome, the hotel is located in a very quiet setting.

Together, a friendly hotel restaurant with your feet in the waters of Mayenne with very pleasant staff. Price of the room at €94 a little excessive because the room (although having a view of Mayenne but beyond the terrace) was small with a 140 bed and no courtesy tray (just a small bottle of water and candy). A group celebrating a retirement party was noisy until 1 a.m. despite staff requests for silence. No luck that evening (a Friday evening)! But when it comes to catering, there is absolutely nothing to complain about! Quality products and served in good quantity. Bravo to the chef for the choice and quality of his products as well as for his cuisine (my husband found the calf's head excellent) My starter, gourmet land and sea plate composed of raw ham/foie gras/salmon gravlax/shrimp was exceptional ! An address to remember when we return to the area...

The food is always good and the hotel is quiet.

We arrived at the hotel looking for a relaxing couple of days. First impressions were very good. Then we were shown to our room. We had a disabled room because my wife and i have mobility issues. The room was tired and urgently needed updating. It appeared that because it was a disabled room it didn't matter. The edges of the skirting were dirty. There was only 1 chair despite being a double room. the drawer for the dressing table was missing. The wardrobe hanging space was so short it would only accommodate shirts No Dresses could be hung. It was not what i expected. On the second night after returning from dinner we found a 3" cockroach in our bed. My wife is terrified of insects and was very frightened. I took the cockroach to the duty manager who, when told of the situation, laughed. I was extremely annoyed and advised I was leaving the next morning. Needless to say my wife did not sleep all night. I was discussed with the attitude of the manager but apart from the lady at breakfast got he impression we were an inconvenience the whole time we were there because we did not speak fluent French

Very good quiet convenient stopover for us. Riverside walks were enjoyed by our dog.. Tempting to stay there longer.

Great hotel, super welcoming and friendly staff!

Hotel is superbly located below on the banks of the Mayenne. Access to the hotel is not well indicated on the N12. Very satisfied with my stay, gourmet restaurant with 3 menus in plys of the square. The basic breakfast lacks choice, no special breads, cakes or brioches, no eggs, cheeses or cold cuts. Efficient and caring staff.

Loved the hotel and the meals location great, for us there there was no lift or air conditioning and the WiFi was a bit of a problem but would go again It was clean and quiet

Room was clean well presented. Shower wall rail was broken and hanging out of the wall making it difficult to attach and use the shower head. Also extractor fan not working so bathroom smelt slightly musty. Everything else in the room was fine, with a nice river view. There didn't seem to be any tea or coffee making facilities available and so had to go into Mayenne town for a drink on arrival. The restaurant which we have used many times before was absolute perfection for both food, service and location and they made it a very special evening for us as we we were celebrating our 43rd wedding anniversary.

Must have been nearly 100 for dinner and we are not surprised as the food was very good and good value

A lovely hotel in a beautiful location with very welcoming staff. The restaurant.is quite large & was very busy, which given the fact that the hotel is small indicated how good it is. The food was excellent & great value & service was just right .

A friend had told us that they have very good food there. We have just seen that this is quite the case: we eat there like the Greek gods long ago on Olympus. It was delicious, divine!

Food was excellent, our room had plenty space & beautiful views over the river. Nice & quiet at night.
We'll definitely look to go back. Nearby Fougeres us a must visit.
