How to make something new out of something... very old? Repaint the rooms, which are nevertheless cramped and uncomfortable, because, in reality, the entire design of the hotel needs to be reviewed. The smell of fresh paint is evidence of a certain effort to attract customers. All that remains is to change the service staff, who are unfriendly and unavailable. Too bad, because the region invites you to an unforgettable experience. As far as I am concerned, I will try to forget.

Discovered this hotel after a vacation departure, on our journey, and to know the legendary hotel where Mr. Mittérant resided. And we return there every year. Very good cuisine, rooms beautifully renovated with very good taste. We will return.

The breakfast is not up to the expectations of a 3 star, with basic baguette bread and little choice. Very nice renovation of the rooms, on the other hand the staircase is narrow, steep, and the lighting can go out while you are still there.

for a 3 star hotel I expected an irreproachable property, this is not the case, behind the door of the room cobwebs, the door of the room needs to be planed because it forces the opening and closing, the lock is very hard to operate, disappointed that we have to go out to go to the swimming pool not specified, finally last detail the price of breakfast at 12 euros, very high compared to the service provided, thank you for your answer, overall I expected something else, the only things we appreciated were the staff and the very good restaurant.

The hotel has been recently renovated, the bedding is new. Despite this: The bedroom and bathroom are cramped. The reception closes at 7 p.m. like the swimming pool (could not take advantage of the swimming pool). .the breakfast is arbitrary. The room overlooks the hotel air conditioner. The hotel restaurant was unfortunately closed. Although being in a historic place, my memory of my stay is mixed. Some additional efforts are necessary (reception hours, quality of breakfast) would make the stay pleasant

As for the room, we paid more by booking 3 months in advance than if we had booked a week in advance... not very logical for the end customer. Overall very old equipment, not easy to carry luggage up the stairs with so little space. Swimming pool and jaccuzi very pleasant (it would be necessary to have access to the swimming pool via the hotel and no longer have to go out into the street to get there). Breakfasts a little expensive compared to the quality of the products served (thawed pastries, poor quality ham…) Clearly we will remember the great welcome and the swimming pool/jacuzzi for the rest we were disappointed with the services.
