Very nice establishment, large parking lots, warm welcome, top bedding, clean and quiet room. Very good and plentiful food.

The rooms were very nice and clean- but don’t eat dinner there…never … we had half board - the meat was burned black … and we asked for a bottle of wine of the house … saw later on the bill they have charged 33€ for an ordinary bottle of wine …. breakfast was fine and all staff was friendly. So recommend the hotel for sleeping:)
This hotel has nice neat rooms and bathroom. Beds slept wonderfully. Breakfast was very extensive. Restaurant was closed on Sunday without knowing that. But in the village there are enough restaurants where you can have a bite to eat and the area is very beautiful. The staff was very friendly. Great hotel to stay overnight as a stopover.
Very comfortable beds, warm welcome and food of the restaurant is amazing. The only thing I would suggest to have your restaurant menu available in English for people who are not natively French speakers.

Excellent dinner in a super setting by the lake - marred by the breakdown in service which meant that our dinner took nearly three hours! Other diners were similarly inconvenienced.

This is not the first time we have stayed at this hotel, I was a bit put off because when we arrived, we wanted to settle our bill straight away, and what a surprise when we saw the bill, the prices were not the same as when we booked on the website. Of course I told the reception. I don't think that's very correct!!!

Unfortunately, prices vary depending on the date of booking/site...
There are a good ten different prices for the same room, depending on the site,... and not to mention the promotions...
We also sometimes have trouble finding our way around.
The price you received when you confirmed by email is the one you must pay.
There is no bad intention on our part, but simply point it out to the person who is paying you and they will correct the invoice spontaneously.

nice hotel in good position
The lady at reception in the mornings was unfriendly. In addition, we had given the hotel a pouch containing my husband's insulin, to keep in the refrigerator. The morning of our departure, no more pouch, no more insulin!! After 20 minutes of research, it was noted that this pouch had been given, by mistake, to another customer who left the day before. This lady at reception attributed the error to a young woman serving breakfast, which is completely false! The customer to whom we gave our insulin pouch attested to this. In short, we lost an hour to collect this insulin from this client. Luckily the rest of the staff were lovely. Nice place, well maintained and well located

Average restaurant service and poorly soundproofed room
Great hotel for us to stay in on our way to Switzerland. Room was clean and the bed was comfy as was the pillows. Didn’t eat in the hotel at night only had breakfast.

Great stay at this hotel. The setting is green. Small stream in front of the hotel. Lake next to it. View of fountain while eating (evening stopover). Large free parking lot. Late arrival possible with the machine outside. The meal was very good. The room is clean, spacious, the lighting is great. The staff is super welcoming, smiling and professional. Honestly, I'm delighted to have found this nugget. I will come back for my next professional trip with pleasure.

Slightly unusual context, we were at a wedding 20 minutes from the hotel (very good location) and there was also a wedding planned at the hotel. Everything went well. The hotel staff allowed us to have lunch on Saturday noon upon our arrival and we were also able to have breakfast the next day. Very good adaptability, thank you!

Very nice experience, the value for money is unbeatable.
The common areas and the rooms have been completely renovated, a very nice achievement! Indirect lights, quality of materials, it's very pleasant. I would have liked a little decoration in the room (photos, paintings) but that's a detail ;) The breakfast is complete, we can deplore some products "in plastic", but there are also fresh products, cakes homemade, fruit salad, the whole thing is very good. The staff is pleasant and professional, which is appreciated.

Charming hotel and very pleasant welcome: the team is keen to welcome customers with as much help as possible. Quality restaurant. Free private parking is a plus. I hope I can stay longer next time.
The ASTER hotel, in Briey, was recently renovated: the rooms are beautiful, welcoming and comfortable and, faced with a reservation difficulty caused by me, the reception team very efficiently resolved the problem. This was the 8th time in a few years that I stayed at this hotel, which also has a good restaurant.

We stayed Sunday evening, we hadn’t realised the restaurant would be closed. Short walk to a bar with food. Rooms fine, plenty of parking. We arrived after reception had closed, before 6pm. Telephoned and they explained how we could get a key and access the hotel. There is a small bridge over the river to the hotel entrance, next to that is a machine, put your name or booking number in and pay by card. A door card key and receipt come out gives you access. That gardens looked very nice but we had to get away first thing so did not access them

We liked a lot of things about this hotel except the fact that we weren't notified that there was a wedding. That said, the front desk manager did everything to find us an alternative. Finally, we dined on the spot and were not very disturbed.

Beautiful location and hotel. Fine dining in the evening was just what we were looking for. The standard of that food was exceptional and highly recommended.

Very nice hotel where we found what we were looking for, located in a beautiful setting. One small remark about the AUX ARCADES restaurant adjoining the hotel. Beautiful setting and very good cuisine. But during service, the bottle of wine was brought to the table...and then no member of staff took care of it, despite the fact that I called twice for help. Finally, after hailing the only member of the service who appeared to me to be a professional, he complied and to apologize brought us back a 1/2 bottle of the same wine. Hiatus probably due to the fact that almost all of the service is provided by young people, probably students. The cause ? Difficulty finding staff after the covid crisis?

Wir haben im Hotel Aster einen Zwischenstopp gemacht. Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal, das (frisch renovierte Zimmer) angenehm. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht. Unser Menü war ordentliche Hausmannskost, keine kulinarische Überraschung. Bei der Größe der Portionen werden wir in jedem Fall das nächste Mal a la carte essen. Und ein nächstes Mal wird es sicher geben, den der Ort und das ganze Tal waren eine positive Überraschung, sogar im Winter bei -5 (!) Grad.
Superb tastefully renovated rooms, very comfortable bedding
Room refurbished we appreciated a lot simple and clean. Tv not working properly and very small. Very small towel to be able to go around our Corp. No bathrobes either. We hadn't taken pajamas used to traveling the world, this is the first time this has happened to us. Quality bedding, very functional bathroom. Too bad the entrance is a real smoking room. Every time we went in or out, we had to pass through the smoking crowd.
