Goed hotel
Restaurant was very good. The afternoon manager on the day was arrived was tremendous, very helpful and spoke good English… much better than my French. I also appreciate the gluten free options on offer.
Good stay with some drawbacks for the room: - smell of humidity or coming from the carpet forcing us to leave the windows open during our entire stay - dust on the table and the equipment available: kettle, cups, tea, ... Without this our stay would have been perfect.

The hotel is in a relatively quiet location in the city center. The room was very large and well equipped. There weren't enough places to hang towels in the bathroom. Our bikes were safely stored in a bike garage.

Perfect and very good dinner and breakfast
1. Very nice people in the restaurant and very good meals. 2. We had to walk with our dog after dinner to avoid nightly complications. The nightguard was very very unfriendly: why, how long, who will open the hotel door (it was 23:00, door locked, no key or code for us, guests should eat and go to bed, like a prison. So he waited grumbling at the door until I came back. Next morning we saw, the nightguard was the owner himself, such an unfriendly person! 3. I paid and showed my ETIX card by mobilephone, written there 15 € will be automatically....so I did not show the extra 15€ email-discount coupon. I paid and asked for the 15€ discount. No no, the unfriendly owner told, I have to show in advance, now it is too late. I should use the coupon in another Hotel. So we did not give any tip, very sorry for the very nice Restaurant people. 4. Room no7, old dirty carpeted floor and the doors at the plastic shower cabin were in the area below scruffy. It was our third and last stay in this house.

I recommend this Logis Hotel in this beautiful department of Nièvre
Nice establishment but the treatment of evening stops needs to be improved. Dinner is taken in the breakfast room although there is another dining room!! Very unpleasant… and what's more, the wifi is catastrophic.
We had half board for this evening stopover, the staff were very friendly and the meal we were served was exceptionally good. We also had a large bedroom.
A spacious room, comfortable bedding. Quiet hotel, quality meal
Not the newest of accommodations but they make up for it with service and ambiance. We did not necessarily have high expectations this time of year, however on Dec 27 the place was well visited the restaurant was almost fully booked. Very nice. We will probably come back when we visit the area again.
Very nice establishment, warm, with intimate rooms and a welcoming atmosphere. A very good kitchen perfects the stay. A generous wine list completes the offer. One regret: the ridiculously small TV in the room.

Simple hotel, decor elements provided in the bathroom (no shower soap), cleanliness of the common areas to be reviewed (stairs not swept) and bedding to be changed. little arrangement from staff on departure time.

Very pleasant hotel - Very warm welcome
The shower head in the bathroom is damaged = impossible to take a shower! The sink drain does not work = impossibility of shaving properly. No discount following these unacceptable malfunctions. We were charged for two herbal teas at the restaurant although only one was taken (by my wife)......
hot water problem in the room: first morning shower with cold water shower and sink! . the problem was reported to reception, supposedly resolved the next day, with the added bonus of a completely inappropriate and disrespectful remark from the staff. excuses for the inconvenience suffered also exist!

A real pleasure, beautiful qualitative and really nice discovery
A clean room for sure no doubt about the cleanliness given the overwhelming smell of cleaning products although the product does not clean. However, more ventilation is needed. The comfort of the beds is very good. The redone bathroom is good, quiet BUT no hot water or a sudden unpleasant smell that smelled of all our old-fashioned clothes (remove the carpet or replace it and the closet needs to be changed and adapted because there is no real wardrobe for long clothes such as a dress or skirt, the window curtains are broken or not working properly) and the price of this room is not in line with its narrowness and its dilapidated state. My friend had a room at the same price, much larger and better laid out and less smelly. This room is worth half the price. For one night yes but no more.

Less than 6 months from the end of paper holiday checks, not being ready to take e-cheques is inadmissible. The fact of accepting “holiday checks” was the differentiating factor when booking. Damage reported to the ANCV. Triple room good standard but details are annoying and unrelated to the standard targeted: 15 min to let the water run (long live the waste of water) to have a drop of hot water, the bottom drain of the shower clogged and the floor of the toilets not finished (absence of joints on the tiles).

Very friendly staff, fantastic food and very good breakfast. And the red wine as house brand !!! With half board we could choose from the menu, so much choice. And dog-friendly with no fuss, awesome. Parking in front of the door.

It was 36°C in the evening in the streets of Clamecy. But the welcome and the superior quality of the meal overshadow the lack of air conditioning. We will be back!
The breakfast buffet is not at the level of the hotel (in choice of food) it's a shame. In addition, the family room for 4 people that we had is not air-conditioned and the noise of the city does not allow us to sleep with the window open, which is a shame.
Room overlooking a patio, no real possibility of cooling the room during the night because customers see in the room on the one hand and it overlooks the breakfast room so the noise of the first customers coming down. My review is only for room 26.

The hotel is in the process of a major renovation bar and restaurant closed reception and entrance in process of construction large number of trades men working on the project also a very strong smell of paint throughout the hotel.

Very nice stopover at the foot of the medieval city of Clamecy, Pleasant stay, I recommend for "Epicureans" the restaurant Table, fresh and local products, The service is impeccable, the staff smiling, The hotel is well kept, clean, calm, Very good bedding, A big thank you to the whole team.
We received a warm and friendly welcome and had an enjoyable stay. The room was what o expect in France - clean, comfortable and utilitarian. Dinner was a bit like the curate's egg - good in parts. The venison terrine was awesome and the salmon with celery sauce also. The main courses were less inspired - sea bass on a bed of onions in a red wine sauce didn't really work and chicken breast in gravy with baby new potatoes didn't inspire. Dessert was really good - tarte aux pommes. Service was efficient but one waitress was warm and friendly the other had had a full facial botox treatment! The hotel has no dedicated parking and it was necessary to find a space on the street. This was difficult when we arrived. Overall, an excellent stay with a few blemishes. Would I go back? - yes!
