Rooms that deserve a renovation. Correct for a 3 star but nothing more for comfort.
Very good stay with only one false note: False fire alarm at 6:45 a.m. and alarm for more than 5 minutes. Hard to wake up!
We had a very good stay
A few approximations and oversights during the service in the dining room in the evening, but nothing dramatic, it is true that there were a lot of people the evening we were staying.
We arrived around 9 p.m. On our way we called to let them know what time we would be arriving and to find out if we could eat there, to which the answer was no straight away because the restaurant was full without trying to find out from the kitchens... We asked to change rooms... In fact, a sock from the previous customer was still there... and the room was not heated.... Breakfast is not worthy of a three star... Aging hotel

Everything is done to have an excellent stay, with a setting for breakfast outside which allows you to have a very good day. Varied breakfast, friendly welcome, fast ..... bravo

We feel the difficulties in finding motivated, warm and happy staff in the catering industry. This does not call into question the services we have received, but the difference, as everywhere, is now quite noticeable.
Overall very satisfied; - greater transparency on the half-board prices would have been desired (when there are two people) ... at the time of invoicing, it hurts a little ... the problem being more due to the lack of information in the display (example: elevator) than in the price strictly speaking if it had been better announced at the base ... and, therefore, I make my "mea culpa" on my lack of information requested at the base - positive notion and thank you for the change of room and upgrade following problems with pronounced sewer odors - a particularly positive notion on the quality of the service of the staff, attentive, helpful and patient - an acceptable quality of room considering, probably, a construction of the "70s-80s ???" but this remains entirely acceptable - a breakfast which could, perhaps, present more products? (from the region) - as a professional in quality and food safety, I would like to point out, on a strictly personal basis, of course, the risk of placing glasses on the terrace exposed to numerous potential bird droppings (it would be up to each customer, of course, to report a problem at this level....) I was also surprised by the number of customers taking pastries (or other available foods!) by hand when the equipment is perfectly available...there is therefore still a lot of work to be done at this level and it goes far beyond the organization of the hotel) Best regards PM

For this second stay at the Moulin du Val de Sorne, we were a little disappointed to be accommodated in a room with a skylight ... The previous time we had a window. More pleasant. Otherwise, perfect bedding, top clean, impeccable service. Staff very attentive at reception as in the restaurant. Superb golf course. The half-board menus would benefit from being more varied: same menu for the week ... it makes you want to go to lunch elsewhere.
Golf course is challenging to play. For us Dutch people a buggy is preferable. Dinner is very good with very friendly staff. Rooms are a bit dated
Too high price for a standard hotel, ibis rouge level. Disappointed that golf access is the target there, and that nothing is planned to play there. The place is magnificent.

We found that it was a little expensive because unlimited golf is good but we only did one per day. we paid 1800 euros for 2 for 4 nights 3 golf courses and 4 dinners and 4 breakfasts plus 105 euros for carts a little expensive for retreats otherwise very happy with our stay
Very pleasant hotel backed by a very well maintained golf course. We enjoyed our family room (with our little daughter). We came 12 or 13 years ago and saw clear improvements. As nothing is ever perfect we deplored a very difficult and random internet connection. And the presence of a lot of flies both in the bar and in the restaurant.

Hotel located in a calm and natural setting. Superb swimming pool! Warm, sloping, calm. Clean room and bathroom, but mold in the bathroom. Blinds stuck at the bottom, a shame when you appreciate the view and the light! The room did not quite match the image offered on the site, and what I expected in relation to the price. So I was a little disappointed with my expectations, but overall we had a good stay despite everything!
We mainly chose this establishment for its magnificent and very well maintained golf course, showcasing a wide variety of tree species in all their splendor. However, improvements are needed regarding the hotel service offered by the catering staff. It is essential to teach them good trade practices: tables should not be set and cleared as at home, it is unacceptable to take glasses with fingers inside, and plates should not be served with a bottle of wine and two extra glasses in his hands, let alone with the bottle lying under the plate. The absence of adequate knives for slicing meat and of salt and pepper on the tables! In addition, it is regrettable not to have a limited menu for a light meal in the afternoon. For breakfast, the buffet looked sad: disorganized, half empty, with every second coffee machine working and little choice. People with food intolerances (lactose-free, gluten-free, etc.) are not taken into account. In the bathroom, the wood is completely moldy from the shower water, and traces of mold are visible around the bathtub. It also lacks hooks for hanging clothes. The only hook present is in the bathroom above the toilet paper, making it unusable to hang anything on. These points are essential for the proper functioning of a hotel service at this level.
Friendly welcome. Room dated but clean. Cuisine: the chef goes around the tables as if he were in a Michelin-starred restaurant but... Honestly... Why a trout salad, quail eggs, salad and croutons... A crème brûlée served cold ...And other mediocrities...I think it would be better to stay in the kitchen and work!!!

A calm, serene place, with superb golf. The hotel is very nice and has a large swimming pool. Everything for a quality stay! The evening meal is taken on the terrace facing the finish of hole 18 surrounded by magnificent trees. The staff is welcoming and helpful. Very good stay.

As for the past seven years of our golfing holidays, it was again a great pleasure to be with you! The friendliness of the director, supported by his entire staff, is unique and is certainly the calling card to pass on to all our golfing friends in Belgium.

It seems that the priority of golf is omnipresent and not that of hotel services, certainly correct but not perfect (privilege room for 5 days): no presentation of the room by reception, no assistance with luggage, and minimum equipment. The privilege room is large, the bathroom is also large but obsolete. The hotel part needs to be renovated. The catering is very good with a high price level. The staff is of a good standard and very pleasant. The stay remains a good time.

We will definitely not book the hotel again. We booked the hotel because it is part of the golf course. Breakfast is the most important thing for us as athletes and that is unreasonable in this hotel. If I want to have breakfast in a supermarket canteen, I go straight there. The fact that I have to set the table myself in a hotel is bordering on impudence. It's not like it's free. We also didn't like the fact that you have to play "housekeeper" and hand in a list at reception for toilet paper, soap, Kleenex and towels so that the room can be stocked and cleaned. You would expect that in a cheap youth hostel.

Das Frühstücksbuffet ist zu knapp im Platz sowie fehlt das prompte Nachfüllen der div. Flüssigkeiten und Produkte (Brot etc.)
Der Service auf der Terrasse ist schlecht organisiert und sollte verbessert werden. Auch bei geschlossener Küche müsste für den Kunden Chips, Erdnüsse etc. bestellbar sein.

Stay for the organization of training Lots of equipment to install Elevator access then 2x 2 steps to access the meeting room. While I made at least 10 return trips to carry equipment, no member of the staff offered to help even though they were mostly on Friday evening chatting at the bar... It's a lack of good manners... Quality Restaurant and perfect service, nothing to say. Room with dated decoration and toilet which makes an atrocious noise.

Almost silent room as requested, however the bucolic riuseau right next door prevented me from closing my eyes. At the table the evening vegetables were very disappointing compared to the time before. But the greenery as far as the eye can see always makes me want to come back.

The hotel was good. Small downside: there is no coverage (3G/4G/5G) except Orange and the Wifi does not have much speed (several tests with SPEEDTEST and I only had 2MB at most).

Too bad there are no details for using the air conditioning. I thought there was a remote control and so, I thought it was cut off in terms of energy savings... plus in the corner, with the little light, the box is barely visible and no information on the use of this box: simple touchscreen support. I discovered this the next morning. The switches for the hallway lights are barely visible in the dark... you can barely see the green lights. I wondered if there wasn't an automatic detection before finding them. A little lack of light in the room.

Very good Very correct and a very good welcome. Very pleasant meal. But a small downside the room was cleaned a little in a hurry bed all wrinkled and duvet crooked trash not emptied well that can happen. But despite everything, I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel has a somewhat austere and dated decor. The rooms have everything you need but no charm. The staff is very friendly. The golf course is really beautiful, sumptuously wooded. Restaurant? Very good, probably the table worth visiting around Lons.
The setting is superb and the staff both at reception, in the restaurant and the cleaning ladies are extraordinary! Thank you for their kindness and their smile. Only downside the quality of the room which leaves something to be desired. The furniture is damaged. As for the soundproofing between the rooms, it was not good, we heard everything our neighbors were doing.

Very friendly and efficient reception. Very good as a whole except breakfast .... Nobody to welcome us in the morning, the trays were almost empty after the breakfasts taken by a tourist bus before us and the trays were not reloaded. We had to make do with what was left. White bread only, no more brioche or homemade cake. Few salty products offered. It's a shame when the quality of the reception was excellent at the restaurant the day before and the dishes tasted delicious!
too bad to arrive in an overheated room with a window that cannot be opened because it has been broken for some time. Apart from this bad feeling at the start, RAS and an efficient and silent air conditioning makes you forget the inconvenience of the arrival.

Our room did not have a phone to call reception. No breakfast in the room. Price far too high in high season compared to the quality of the very modest room. Restaurant very good as well as the staff.
The setting of this hotel is very beautiful; on the other hand, the buildings are ugly and our room, worthy of a hospital! The terrace in the evening, and in the morning at breakfast is very pleasant. The breakfast is unremarkable but above all very poorly presented.

Tea as advertised sucks for me. We don't even know how to use it... ??????? At your service for more details ..... and any advice due to my own experience.

Some facilities are starting to get old (bathroom, swimming pool and especially the changing room of the swimming pool) which makes the value for money disappointing.

Everything went very well. We had a great weekend. The setting is very relaxing even if we do not play golf. The restaurant and breakfast were really good and the service impeccable. Thank you for these good times.

Setting, swimming pool, superb welcome and very friendly staff, very correct catering. Only fault but not the least: the room its equipment its position above the terrace of the restaurant correct bedding but comfort and decoration reduced to the strict minimum.

The hotel is perfect as well as the restaurant. The staff is incredibly nice, helpful and efficient.
The hotel needs a renovation
For our 4-day golf stay, the formula is really impeccable. The staff is really very welcoming and available. The half-board is very varied, the cuisine excellent. Really to advise. To be improved, inform that the rooms are only made on request and improve the Wifi connection (very slow and capricious especially at the end of the day when several people connect there). We will come back !

Everything was fine. Charming welcome
Very welcoming, professional and dynamic staff. Multiple activities on site: golf, tennis, table tennis, swimming pool and hiking. Very spacious bedroom and bathroom. Very good quality bedding. Presence of a small fridge in the room: a real plus! Quiet and green environment very relaxing. Gourmet cuisine with seasonal products (dinners and lunches). Very good homemade and artisan products for breakfast (ex: Haut-Jura ham, brioche, marble...). Near Lake Vouglans (beach, nautical base...): the best. We will be back very soon for the end of our holiday and plan to stay there for longer next year.

Great golf course. Location in Jura lovely. However they have some sort of industrial extraction fan out the back of the hotel. This affects all the rooms at the back and the pool area. It goes on and off every minute or so and completely breaks what would otherwise be a peaceful location. Sadly we were glad to leave this by the end of our stay. I am sure they could do better with this. Strongly suggest book room at the front. Tennis courts unplayable due to in dire need of repair. Nice staff, food ok.
Regarding the room, mattress a little worn by time. Hotel staff (reception, bar, restaurant and maids at the top). Very pleasant pool side, small flat on the shower side (ageing) and poorly maintained terrace on the ping pong table side.
stay in the valley of SORNE always as pleasant (fourth stay). For the first time, rudimentary room without charm but clean. Obviously I was not entitled to one of the 35 spacious rooms (too bad). Very pleasant bathroom

The setting is really nice and the room quality. The catering and the menu offered are excellent. THE only downside is the quality of the wifi connection and the lack of a 4G/5G network on the site which is penalizing for the work

We came for the golf. The course is in fantastic condition in a beautiful environment. We also went 6 years ago and the quality of the rooms is slightly better, but not yet good enough to come more often. If the rooms are improved, we will definitely come more often. The entrance to the room is not inviting. The door looks dirty and damaged (as if the door was broken open like that). The hallways also look stuffy. The why doesn't the light turn on automatically?

Everyone goes out of their way to satisfy customers. 2) The setting: A very beautiful place surrounded by greenery, 2 steps from Lons. 3) The Golf: Magnificent and very well maintained. Cons: 1) The room: Spartan and lacking in warmth, it needs to be renovated to bring it up to current 3-star standards. 2) The organization of breakfast: There was always something missing, starting with plates (why supply them drop by drop?), cereals, milk, tea, bread, scrambled eggs... elsewhere, the price seems excessive to us in view of the quality of the products offered.

Quiet and good food in the middle of nature. In addition to the very high quality golf course, several holes of which offer incredible views of the Jura foothills, the Hotel-Restaurant is a place with a family and relaxed atmosphere. The food is very good (Jura local products well represented, but not exclusively) and preference is given to products from small producers. Note a very nice selection of wines from winegrowers at very low prices. The teams are very attentive and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and air-conditioned: choose the suites with terraces.
