This is the fourth time we have come to this hotel! What a disappointment this year!! So many changes! A 4 star hotel that does not accompany its guests to their room! We were given room 212: twin beds separated by a chimney flue! We called reception who took at least 20 minutes to give us another room. The rooms are aging and the bathroom and toilet floors are washed with sticky products. And then the big surprise remains the quality of the catering: nothing like in years gone by! Friday evening: sold out rib of beef, Saturday evening: sold out rib of beef. My husband and our friend decided to have roast chicken/chips: very low-end and tasteless battery chicken! My husband had the same dessert at each meal (semolina cake): 1st time: well presented with fruit, 2nd time: no fruit, 3rd time: a pile...of leftovers? Our friend had a fruit soup, which was just a syrup....without even a fruit. Unthinkable! I'm not talking about the Caesar salad....all very disappointing. The positive: the friendly waiters and the good breakfast. Although we were charged a brunch at €20 on Sunday, without the choice of having a continental breakfast. That was our big disappointment. Too bad, we also liked this place to play golf. So we will look for another address.

We have stayed here many times over the last 20 years. Under the new management the hotel has been well refurbished but has many deficiences. Our TV and A?C did not work but the major problem was the catering. Bar prices were ridiculously high (Euro 14.90 for one large and one small panachet) and the choice and service in the restaurant were very poor. We waited over an hour for our plat to arrive. We will not come back.
We stayed in the Logis Domaine de la Foret d'Orient with our dog on our way to the Alps. We liked it so much that we booked a stay at the same hotel for our return. It was so easy with the dog, and she was allowed in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Location was superb and very quiet so no noise to disturb us or the dog. Only a small issue in that only 1 device can be connected to the WiFi, but got round that by entering more than 1 e-mail address at login.

This is our 3rd or 4th stay at this hotel as a stop over on our way through France.
We cannot fault it, and they are also really dog friendly

hotel OK, parking OK, room OK, storage OK, dinner reservation OK, but only 55 minutes before the service. c'est trop long. Petit déjeuner OK.
Overall very disappointing, we are closer to the tourist factory than to the usual conviviality of Logis Hôtel. Very cold and standardized welcome, nothing personalized, we are far from feeling like the expected guest and the family atmosphere of the Logis... Same observation in the restaurant, 2h20 for a main course and a dessert. The tables line up in an industrial atmosphere, yet the staff seems friendly when they finally look up from their tablets.
Comfortable, quiet stay
Good Hotel in a pleasant environment.
The hotel was OK, not very clean and there were lots of mosquitoes in our room. The food was so-so, good menu but not great quality ingredients.
The hotel was acceptable, however the terrace outside needed cleaning .
The food was BLAND to say the least, we were served our main course with a selection of vegetables which were not at all to our tastes, therefore I asked if we could have some chipped potatoes as a replacement, and was told that for 'frites' there was a supplement of 5 euros per personne, I reluctantly took up this option, however, when the frites arrived the half burnt and really not good at all, we therefore left them!!
Also there were 2 large groups outside, and the service did their best, but once the 70 something people arrived we were a bit forgotten.
However I found the service very correct and friendly but slow
Overall the rooms and the quietness are very agreable, however the catering is the weak link.
Breakfast was a shambles with nearly the whole buffet empty when we arrived at 9 o'clock
Globally a little disappointed
I had booked for the wrong date, a night earlier than the evening we arrived. The people at the desk were not interested, didn't offer a room for that night as the were booked they thought, and didn't help us in any way to find another accommodation. We found another Logis Hotel on our phone for that night, but some more service - there were no other people at the front desk during that time - might have helped. Not a welcome we had expected.
Delighted with the location of the hotel surrounded by nature, we have already recommended it to friends!
Impeccable welcome and service / Hotel at the level of these 4 stars Restaurant: A disaster! The cuisine is not at all at the level of the establishment Starter: Hard bread with chemical sauce with dried salmon escalope Dish: Very low quality piece of beef requested rare, arrived well cooked with cold fries (the plate was redone to good cooking but same quality of beef) We avoided the dessert Too bad because this establishment has the infrastructure to become a reference if the cuisine follows On the contrary the breakfast is of a very good level
Room was much larger than we expected and was ideal
hotell very good and restaurant and bar very disappointing long aperitifs with lots of ice cubes having no taste no accompaniments like chips etc. and at the restaurant not many varieties of dishes and steaks of beef as hard as concrete we were offered a new piece but our appetite was gone and we received 10 euros on the bill I do not need a handout this is not a commercial gesture on the part of your establishment hotel good restaurant unworthy of a golf club not to recommend P DE MEYERE
Calm and relaxing evening stopover. Small bug at the start, payment from the day before recorded incorrectly, but nothing serious, the error is human. I recommend.
Everything is great
I expected better following the reviews The room: impossible to work, no chair in front of the desk but an ottoman that is not at the right height! The shower head which is at a maximum height of 1.60 in an old-fashioned bathroom The restaurants: the vegetables arrive cold the first time, I make the remark we take the plate it comes back 10 minutes later and the vegetables are still cold, I notify the waiter who returns with the chef, the latter offers me fries??!!

Very nice hotel located in the middle of the forest, the place is magnificent! A perfect welcome, a very beautiful, well-equipped room but with a bathroom that deserves a good refresh. The restaurant offers quality products with impeccable service, congratulations to the waiters!

Value for money like only Logis in practice. Gourmet dinner, large room and haven of peace in the middle of the Orient forest. Ask for a room not overlooking the front parking lot (noise from trash cans in the morning)
All good bar the reception staff who were very indifferent. The waitress kindly returned my daughter's book to our room when my daughter left it at dinner
