Typical, historic and calm setting with very pleasant and attentive staff, very good local cuisine. Really, as a traveling salesperson accustomed to hotels, I highly recommend it compared to the horrible and very expensive chains.

Pro team. Top restaurant: very good value for money. On the other hand, it's not at all practical to shower in a sloping bathtub when you're 1m80 tall. Mini wall which is almost useless: we put water everywhere. Too bad because the bathroom was large... Well, no air conditioning, only a fan: it's cheap...

Very warm welcome, very clean room, perfect bedding and linen. Restaurants and castle nearby so perfect for our short stay. Possibility of making tea or coffee in the room. Very good evening meal and full lunch. The weather was nice, we were able to eat on the terrace among the plants. Free parking in front of the hotel. The only problem is noise on the street, but not due to the hotel. So I recommend.

We found ourselves in a room with a small window opening onto a dark, shabby corridor, bad bed, room, dilapidated shower room. When paying, we were asked for 200 euros...a regrettable error. Instead of the already excessive 98 euros.

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff is welcoming and professional. the hotel is very well placed for a visit to the Château de Villandry, with a modest, but comfortable room. The restaurant offers an absolutely delicious dinner that deserves at least one star.
Very kind and helpful staff. But small room, dented bedding and sunken mattress, breakfast ok but meal at the restaurant disappointing. Logis de France has accustomed us to better. Small quantity starters, almost non-existent seasoning with insufficient asparagus, main course ok but small quantities lost in the middle of large plates...it is better to keep the same quantity on smaller plates...you will have the impression of being full ..

We booked for one night dinner, bed and breakfast and arrived to find that the restaurant was closing which was very disappointing as we had such a good meal at a previous Logis hotel in Samur. The staff were very apologetic and booked us into a nearby restaurant. The hotel is a little tired in decor but is very quaint and set in the beautiful Villendry. Breakfast was ok nothing special.

Fabulous chambre
We arrived slightly earlier than we said. Had to wait a while before the barman checked us in. No great welcome, no smile. Poor hospitality skills. Had booked the restaurant prior to our stay. barman could not find the booking.
Dinner in the restaurant, again no welcoming smiles. Same barman/waiter! There was one waiter in a white shirt and smart trousers who knew exactly what he was doing and was very welcoming and professional.
The meal was lovely and breakfast was good.
On check out again no welcoming smile, no thank you for staying.
The staff need a good lesson in hospitality skills and be able to make guests feel welcome. Sadly lacking at this hotel.

A bit dated and small hotel
We stayed for two nights, with the demi-pension. The room was very nice, the hotel in general was beautiful and demi-pension was a treat. The food was great, and the choices available more than covered my wife and I for two nights to each have two great meals.
In addition to all of this, the hotels bike storage was large and very secure, which is always a pleasant bonus.

Very good restaurant, good choice at breakfast. Rooms are big and clean but steep stairs. In the morning you can hear the traffic, at night it was quiet. Good mattresses.
