The hotel is pleasant, the room is large and has the charm of the old and the comfort of the contemporary. The restaurant is disappointing: salad with duck breasts with improbable flavors, disappointing meat). The approximate service does not help.
I recommend without hesitation
Very close to highway. We took the half board option and the food was good and savory. Seasonal and local produce on the menu. Breakfast with enough variety on the buffet.

View the hotel's answerArrived at 1630 to find 8 other guests stood on the pavement reading a sign that said reception opened at 1800!!! A phone number was provided that did not work. A very helpful other guest managed to get through on another number and obtain access and room numbers for us all. According to the room info there should have been an English language TV channel, it did not work. The bathroom door jammed, locking my wife in the bathroom. The internet connection did not work. I couldn't get any assistance with these problems as there was no one on site. The restaurant is available and bar lounge etc are available from 1900 to 2030. I was concerned about the restaurant menu as 30 mins before opening there did not appear to be a chef on site. Perhaps their microwaves don't take long to warm up? I have used Logis hotels for many years both for business and pleasure and during this time have never come across such abismal service. My advice would be to avoid this establishment at all costs. Logis needs to consider their relationship with it as it reflects very badly on their brand.

The truth that our surprise, the hotel is in a typical French village, very good but with little people. We have signed a dwelling for 5 huge and very clean rooms. At the reception we have a Spanish code and we do not use restaurant and swimming pool services, which are also very good. TOTALLY RECOMENDED.
A delightful hotel. Very convenient, just off the motorway, but also an interesting village to visit of historical interest. The staff at the hotel are all friendly and helpful. The food is superb. We highly recommend the hotel and will be back.

An old building, full of charm so for 3 a very large room but this room would need ventilation or an ambient scent, or renovation. A good breakfast with savory and sweet, for the meal no choice in standard half board formula. Quick welcome well done 😁 but friendly staff
This was an overnight stopover from the Channel ferry. Everything was excellent. Impeccably clean, very comfortable and the food was fantastic. Loved that there were tea and coffee making facilties provided. The only negative was that we arrived before 6pm and had to telephone to be given the access code to get in. Once in the hotel foyer access to our room and the pool was easy. We soon relaxed and enjoyed the facilities offered by the hotel. The town is lovely too and we will come back to stay at the hotel and explore the region.

We stopped at this hotel located in a small, very quiet village while being very close to an exit from the A20 motorway south of Limoges. Very pleasant experience in every way. I recommend this establishment without any reservation.
We had a great evening and night with my daughter! The room was large and comfortable. Very pleasant welcome. Plus perfect location for our trip between the Pyrenees and Paris.

The Auberge Dupuytren is first of all very well placed for visiting Haute Vienne... Or for stopping off on the highway. Very well renovated character house... In short, a good address as we like them. Just a quick remark: why not put on an A4 sheet the points to visit around... Depending on everyone's interests. But it’s true that you just had to ask to get the information.

We were surprised and disappointed by the discrepancy between the presentation of the room on the Logis website (large, bright room, pleasant decor) and the reality of it (dark room opening onto a courtyard, average decor). Clean hotel, everything was very good, friendly and smiling staff, quality meals, in short I recommend. The only downside is that there is no desk for working in the room which was too small to accommodate one, as well as a place to put the suitcase…
As English speaking travellers we found the check-in process stressful. We were not made aware that no-one is available to manage check-in before 6pm. We arrived at 5.15pm to find everything closed up and a tradesman telling us everything is closed. We had some very anxious moments as this village is far from any other reasonable accommodation. Eventually another guest arrived, worked out the French instructions to call a manager which he did. They were expecting us and directed us via telephone to our room.

We chose Auberge Dupuytren by chance while traveling between Vichy and Royan. No regrets, the hotel is very well run, the welcome is great, the rooms very comfortable and the restaurant cuisine is excellent. I recommend with eyes closed.
Room is fine, not very special. Building is very nice. Staff does their best, but is difficult to communicate with. No service on the terrace, you have to order your drinks inside. Swimming pool fine, not special, but cooling.

I arrived an hour later than expected (9:30pm) mainly due to a large section of the A20 being completely closed with a long diversion. The inn was in darkness. No bell. No phone number on the booking sheet. No answer to knock on the door. I had to spend the night in the car. So much for personalized service and consideration. And for this, the hostel will charge the total amount of the night on my credit card.
