Very welcoming, very helpful
I find the price of the stopover a little too high compared to the services. You can generally find much better in the Logis.
Rooms simple but clean, restaurant recommended
Very friendly welcome. Room on the second floor very small and of spartan comfort. Note that on our arrival, we were kindly given the possibility of changing rooms, which we did not do. However, we slept rather well there. The restaurant offers good quality cuisine, with very reasonable prices. Note, a breakfast served at the table, with real bakery croissants, which is increasingly rare at this price level, and an excellent fresh fruit salad.
The rooms of this hotel are no longer hotel-worthy, terribly outdated and worn-out interior. Incomprehensible that these are still offered via a Logis de France site! Also very unsafe electrical installation, risk of electrocution at toilet light, not a single bedside lamp worked, all 4 had faulty switches on the floor! The carpet consisted of several old layers, which do not reach the wall and is also full of stains. Because all hotels in the entire area were fully booked, the choice for this hotel was necessary. The hotel rooms would have to be taken out of service, what a terrible experience. Only the quality of the restaurant is good, but that was not the reason for our stay. After the evening meal, the entire stay, including breakfast the next day, had to be paid for. The next morning the hotel owner was not present, only the waitress from breakfast. So we were not able to communicate our experiences.
The room was disappointing. Dated. Time stood still for 50 years. But the restaurant and the quality were great. But when booking we were already aware of the room and restaurant.
The stay was nice. The room is simple yet good enough. The kitchen however is great! What a treat!
Charming, welcoming hotel with excellent food
The hotel is at a nice location, in the middle of the village. We had a warm welcome. The rooms are very poor, food is nice but too expensive for the quality.
Real French hotel in the middle of a small village with a very good restaurant
Simple, quiet, good à la carte card, service during diner slow
Gastvrije avangst, en kel enkel em om nog van ker wisselen, heerlijk gegeten en een prachtige plek. Aanrader!
I have already been to this hotel several times, the room was basic but the bedding was correct and the restaurant was very good, the private parking, the owners very friendly. I always came back and recommended this place. Unfortunately, this time, I am disappointed, room on the 2nd floor under the roof, very steep staircase even though the hotel is far from full. Spartan room, very dated decor, torn blinds, pitiful bedding, hollow mattress, broken where you fall in the middle, horrible night. 2 power outlets for the entire bedroom and bathroom, occupied by the TV and the only bedside lamp, obliged to ask for a multi-outlet to charge 1 cell phone. No bath towels on arrival, just a mini towel, obliged to ask for sheets to shower, on the other hand everything very clean, very hot shower with good flow and restaurant always delicious, wines very (much too) expensive , 8€50 for a mini glass! Minimum bottle of wine €40. We were asked to pay the entire stay the evening of our arrival after our meal at the restaurant and 1 stay for 1 night even though the service was not complete, still neither slept nor had lunch! Usually, I paid in the morning before my departure, probably because I was afraid of criticism!!!
Hôtel bien situé au milieu du village de Rully entouré de vignes. Très bon accueil dans un hôtel parfois un peu désuet mais charmant.
Pleasant stay and easy access.
Very welcoming couple of restaurateurs and a good restaurant.
Simple hotel in the middle of a quiet vineyard with a restaurant whose tasty cuisine is to be praised
Ideal hotel for a visit to the Côte Chalonnaise winegrowers, or even Rully. Promotion of wines from village winegrowers with top-notch catering. If I had been traveling professionally, I would not have hesitated to choose the Etape evening. The rooms and their equipment suffer from their age and the lack of sound insulation.
Small, very old room with bedding from 50 years ago
Simple hotel in a beautiful little town. The kitchen is extraordinary.
We booked this hotel because we had very good experiences with it a few years ago. Today I can only warn against this: Rooms over a very steep staircase: very bad, food very expensive for the quality, service: you have to pay the evening before departure, but you don't receive a detailed invoice, just a somehow added up final total. Result: Never again.
Older but idyllic building without an elevator and with steep stairs, therefore less recommended for travelers with physical limitations. Facilities simple but clean. Staff very nice. Restaurant excellent!
Very thin portions of foie gras as well as the meat. So very expensive for the service. In the morning, no butter. Towel with holes. The television did not work well. We reported it but no one came. No invoice!!!
Ausgezeichnetes Restaurant, Zimmer ok zum Übernachten, klein, kein Lift, steile Treppen
Nice people great food! Room clean but cramped.
No bedside table or lamp.
Very interesting town and surroundings. We stayed another
Very nice building, very good restaurant, the hosts are friendly and welcoming but the room is too small and the bedding poor.
Overall very average reception. Imperatively review the quality of the bathroom: faulty shower taps, toilet seat not fixed, insufficient number of towels, mechanical ventilation of the bathroom very confusing and inefficient, no tablet to put your things, the basin of the sink is broken, cracked, the quality of the bathroom is POOR For the bedroom, lack of a bedside table, no full-length mirror, the only broken bedside lamp, dilapidated clothes closet (peeling paint, damaged hangers, dilapidated windows and shutters, difficult to maneuver etc... this "hotel" is not of a 2* level but 1* at most. On the other hand the restaurant is perfect in terms of food (starred restaurant), a little expensive, on the other hand 2 people to serve 50 meals is clearly insufficient (30 minutes to have the order taken, 45 minutes between each course, for the dessert: cream cheese à la carte, I had to ask for the cream and the sugar, as for the reception in the room is limited: the boss showed us our table from a distance without delicacy. IT IS NOT VERY FRIENDLY AND NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL. In addition, access to the kitchen is via 2 doors that slam loudly with each passage of the staff: it is very disturbing for customers The bill was paid after the evening meal, but at reception I had to claim the invoice (made by hand) and to register my loyalty checks and my ETIK card, no QR code reader, everything is done by hand and not in a good mood. So what? For breakfast, NO BUFFET, no SALTY OR CHEESE, the young man on duty claimed that he had to order the day before???? IN CONCLUSION, a visit to LOGIS DE FRANCE is essential to review the classification of this HOTEL, review staff training (mainly manager), and bring the rooms and bathrooms up to standard and in compliance. Thank you in advance for your actions in the meantime, I do not recommend this establishment for the moment and will not return.
Simple and comfortable small hotel. Large triple room. Very good table too. Very friendly and available team.
Rustic hotel. Old but functional family room. Welcome by the quite military manager. For a decent hotel night. very good restaurant.
Rapport qualité prix impeccable !
Patron hyper courageux et très professionnel !
Chambre propre et efficace
Le ☕️ et viennoiseries pourraient être mieux au petit déjeuner.
Perfect for a short stopover
Too bad that septuagenarians like us were relegated to the 2nd floor without a lift!!! Oh those stairs!!! However, we must recognize that we were well helped with the luggage both on arrival and on departure!
The rooms were basic, clean and adequate for our 1 night stay.
Stopover evening refused because I went through Egencia for the reservation under these conditions the deal would not be profitable. Almost 150 € the stay with a meal (in drink a beer and carafe of water...) one night and a breakfast. Given the overall quality of the service, far too expensive, especially the bedroom, 1.90 long bed (if you're tall, too bad for you), window without double glazing, old shutters that don't make it dark in the morning , huge noise from the kitchen (hood? saw the smell when you open the window...) which was cut around 11:15 p.m., storage noises until almost midnight slamming of doors. Brief. I usually take stopover evenings around 90 to 110 € with an overall better quality service.
We were in this hotel several times before Corona and found out that the quality of the menu decreased from year to year. We wanted to give the new owner a chance. Unfortunately not used. Nothing has changed in the hotel due to the increase in the room rate. Simple standards such as a hair dryer in the room or a second towel are not available. Unfortunately, we will no longer be guests in the future. sorry
Everything was OK apart from a lack of toilet roll in the en-suite bathroom,
Mooie nostalgische , eenvoudige locatie . Goed restaurant met fijne keuken
Minimalist room, but sufficient.. Exceptional food…
very nice hotel good music and good meal evening stopover at the dinner, the top would be a breakfast from 7am for the sales people and provide a bottle of water in the room
the rooms should be redone because they are very old and replace the blankets which are 50 years old with duvets the meals are too long and served cold the prices are excessive
HS shower mixer. Exploded door sills. Stained carpet. 1 Lamp on two HS, switchesba even the ground .... otherwise quiet. Comfortable beds. The restaurant on the ground floor is very good.
Small room and bathroom, no place to turn your head. Shower only for smaller people, no space for decent chair and table. Kick extremely bad.
Staff were very welcoming. Food was excellent - wines were perhaps à little pricey. Service was very good.
Room was disappointing - very basic - one towel each. Only one socket for the tv, which I had to unplug , and use to charge my hearing aids.
Bathroom was very small. Having said that everything was very clean and the Wi-Fi worked extremely well, and we will probably go again for the quality of the food, and the staff
Outdated room dating from the 50s without renovation Disastrous value for money
Everything was as always very good. Friendly service and good beds. The only minus was that the shower was cold
Restaurant is a very nice discovery with a level of quality worthy of gastronomy. Simple, functional and well-kept hotel, this may surprise some customers looking for comfort +++ Very pleasant and smiling welcome
We were in a 1st price room: therefore small area: OK. By cons, the heating was not on when we arrived (cast iron radiator, so longer to heat), the bathroom is a fridge where some trace of mold does not inspire to stay. And for the bed a simple sheet and thin blanket. Not even a bedspread to make the atmosphere more welcoming. A "night light" switch is so vintage, you couldn't turn it off. And of the 2 spots offered, only one was equipped with a bulb. There, we seemed to be punished! Damage. On the other hand, the breakfast is plentiful: fresh fruit salad, bread, butter croissants, 5 varieties of jam, fresh fruit juice, cottage cheese and the usual hot drink. The employee is very friendly, discreet and very dedicated. This person would almost forget the condition of the room!!
Hotel from another age that does not deserve to be a Logis de France. Restaurant is OK, nothing more.
