Despite confirming my reservation, the hotel was closed!

Il faisait plus chaud à l'extérieur que dans notre chambre (pluie) on a dû ajouter des couvertures (douteuses), chambre pas propre (sauf les draps et l'oreiller), rideaux blancs, comme les couleurs, pendant hors la tringle et complètement décrochés voire déchirés, toiles d'araignées dans tous les coins et salle de bains : sol sale et sous le bidet encore des toiles d'araignée ! Le prix est trop cher pour ce genre d'endroit... n'avons fait qu'une seule nuit ! L'hôtel nous a appelé le matin pour nous dire que la réception serait fermée de 12h00 à 17h00 et que le restaurant (nous avions choisi cet endroit pour y manger le soir sans se déplacer) serait fermé ce soir-là !!! J'ai voulu rappeler pour annuler mais personne n'a répondu et la messagerie indiquait que sa boîte était pleine !!! Très très décevant pour un LOGIS HOTEL, ne mérite pas cette appellation !

Lovely and friendly hotel, very quiet and well located, with a large courtyard for parking motorcycles

Warm and friendly welcome. Rustic but large and pleasant room. Bedding quite correct. The bathroom could do with a bit of modernization. The TV is small for the size of the room and the distance between the beds

The family room was very charming, but the bathroom basic: not enough soap for 4 persons. Breakfast was not worth the price: 9.5 euros for 1 croissant, a piece of bread and a cup of coffee, while info brochure in the room mentioned yogurt and cereals. Nice village, 5 minutes from the highway. Dogs allowed.

Very pleasant hotel with large rooms overlooking the garden, indoor parking, quiet, in the very beautiful town of La Canourgue. Restaurant on site very good too. Well-kept family hotel. Excellent bedding. And of course, a very warm welcome and considerate and friendly hosts

Very warm welcome, the hotel manager is very accommodating. Ample private parking, the hotel located near the center of the village is however very quiet. Comfortable room and very good bedding. Very good restaurant.

Disappointing stay. When we arrived, we found dirty sheets in the bottom of the wall cupboard!!!! The cleaning, especially in the bathroom, leaves something to be desired (faucets, plexiglass in the shower). We had to ask for the shower gel, the refills being empty. We also had to ask for the windows to be cleaned. Not to mention the amount of flies in the bedroom light fixture. And the mattress somewhat flattened.

Very good stay in an “old-fashioned” hotel. Good welcome, good food. Pleasant and very relaxing stay.

reservation made 4 days before our arrival, on the road on Tuesday March 12, a call from the hotel told us that it would not be open before 6 p.m.!! then to tell us that the catering service will also be closed!!? and to top it all off, no breakfast the next morning served before 8:30 or 9 a.m. Total rubbish! they're making fun of us ! The manager with whom we spoke is overwhelmed, tired and without staff, I advised her to stop her activity for her health.

Slept well, ate well, good breakfast. Faithful testimony of the village. The people are welcoming.

Very warm welcome by the manager, who kindly awaited our late arrival and gave us advice and good addresses. The old-fashioned room is clean and spacious. The village is magnificent!

Friendly hotel in the heart of the town. Excellent meal with a succulent celery gratin. Welcome and friendly service.

When we arrived, the owner (whom we thought was a customer) was smoking her cigarette in the doorway and didn't even greet us. Room No. 5 where we were staying has a drop of more than 10 cm from the window to the front door. A wedge is installed under the feet of the bed to level it. The bathroom floor is starting to sag. Between the windows and shutters were several cobwebs with their owners. The TV is tiny compared to the bed layout. We don't understand how this hotel can have 2 stars. In terms of the restaurant and breakfast, the food was very good and the waitresses were very pleasant.

Excellent hotel. Simple but nice. Old-fashioned furnished room (I love it). Limited restaurant menu but good and local products. A big thank you to the chef for the surprise cake for my daughter's birthday at the last minute

Hello - I hope this message will be followed by your services. it is in the interest of all those who have made a reservation at this hotel in PORTALOU. first of all, it was at breakfast that tongues loosened. We weren't satisfied with the bedding (room no. 8) but we weren't the only ones (the people who had room no. 2 also "a very big problem with the bedding). bath towels with holes. We booked this hotel as we were attending a wedding close by. The website showed rooms of a basic enough standard but quite acceptable. The room we were given was not acceptable. We couldn’t sit down on the toilet as the wall was too close. We couldn’t stand up in the shower as the roof was too low. The bed practically took up the entirety of the room. Other friends stayed in the same hotel and all got far larger rooms with full bathroom services and we all paid the same money. The room we received was a disgrace. There is a rooster in a neighbouring garden that screams from early morning until the evening. The walls are paper thin and you can hear all conversation going on next door to you.

Hotel with character, we loved the original decor!!! Very quiet, close to the historic center and restaurants. Really very friendly welcome, you feel at home!
