Nous avons passé une nuit. Le lieu est très calme et joli. Le petit déjeuner est simple mais tout y est.
Petite remarque, il manque un rideau de douche ou un plexi.

Un séjour de plus à la Vieille Ferme et toujours la perfection aussi bien pour l'accueil que pour la restauration, le service et l'hébergement. On y reviendra encore et encore !!!

Overnight stay. Spacious room, well heated but without any charm. Spartan bathroom. Poor quality bedding. Reception and restaurant where you have to climb about ten steps. Very good evening meal. Decent breakfast. Animals: roosters, sheep, horses. Nice for children!!

+ Former country estate with rustic charm. Very friendly staff, effective heating in winter, including extra heating in the bathroom, very good evening meal, good breakfast; only eggs are missing. First-class location on the A7 for north-south transit. Esso petrol station also open on Sundays, 3 km away. Large free parking lot on its own premises. - Door locks take some getting used to. Each room has a door that is also the front door. Locking it is very tricky; if you only think you're doing it right and rely on it, the wind will burst open the door with a loud bang at night; it's a huge shock! This applies especially to room 5.

Hotel and restaurant to recommend! Why did you choose this hotel? For its location in relation to our route and its proximity to the motorway at the start, but we now stay there several times a year for the friendliness and professionalism of the owners and staff, the quality of the meals offered in the restaurant and the excellent quality/price ratio.

Not great on the negative side: light permanently on in front of the room and visible from around the door, so it was impossible to be in total darkness to sleep, the cushions were too big, one of the beds was hollowed out in the middle, the hair dryer did not stay on by itself, the decor in the room was non-existent or from the 80s, lots of waste accumulated in a room near our room, the breakfast was seriously lacking in choice for the price. On the positive side: the restaurant was enjoyable and the decor in the breakfast room was nice.

Very nice accommodation on the banks of the Saône

Very pleasant setting, very correct welcome, good food. But the room (no. 5) was freezing, despite the heating being operational (perhaps it was not turned on early enough and strong enough?). Given the poor insulation of the premises, it would be wise, as a first step, to replace the radiator. The current radiator blows hot air, with a totally inefficient output in this room, and has no mass. Comparatively, it was quite warm in the bathroom because the radiator is of a different type.

Magnificent old building. Impeccable welcome. Simple room and needs a BIG refresh. As for the restaurant, little choice but still varied. Big + for the celeriac puree and the risotto. Good value for money.

The hotel is very tired and neglected. We were travelling with our dog and room was very cold, no sockets, felt like we were staying in a shed.

Bedding a bit hard..low bed..bathroom and toilet clean but old. Evening stopover, no alternative, only one starter, only one main course...too bad, but correct in quantity and taste. The breakfast croissant is excellent.

The bedroom was small and basic. We knew this before travelling. It was clean and presentable. The dining room was very good. Nice room with a good menu.

We are used to “ lits jumeaux”, deux lits séparés. In France we mostly find “ un grand lit”.
No problem. We got a family room with 2 beds for the price of a normal room.
We enjoyed an excellent meal in the restaurant. Very fine kitchen!

Beautiful place, best situated and extremely homely

The hotel needs to be renovated. The beds and bathroom were very clean but there is a lot to do in the surrounding area. The location with a view of the Saône is very nice. The restaurant is very good. Breakfast is good. A quick renovation would be in order. Unfortunately the pool was already closed (September 20, 2024).

We found this charming place for our stopover on the way back from vacation. Very quiet, spotless room, charming staff and TOP cuisine (homemade). Just what we needed for our return home.

Great little hotel. Very welcoming. Lovely views of the river Saone and the farm. Comfortable bed - very clean. However, couldn’t find hairdryer and and there was no shower curtain. These are minor details which did not detract from enjoying our 2nd stay at the hotel.
Restaurant excellent with beautiful regional food, well presented.
Brilliant location for the motorway and for the lovely regions.

However, approximately clean accommodation, terrace of the accommodation not clean, moderately clean swimming pool (eua clean but the bottom is green with a lot of dirt), and the green spaces around the pool are moderately maintained ... Pleasantly surprised by the calm and the view of the Saône from the balcony of the room. Welcoming and clean room. Access to the motel-style rooms is ideal for unloading luggage. Its location 5 minutes from the A6 motorway exit is very convenient. We now have an address every time we go down south 😉.

Wat een feest! Ik heb genoten. Na een reis van 12 uur nadat we 4 uur alleen maar fille hebben gehad. Het was absoluut de moeite waard! Eten was super de kamer was super en de omgeving was ook erg mooi en rustgevend.

We loved our stay at the old farm! The room overlooking the banks of the Saône was very comfortable. We really appreciated the beauty and tranquility of the place. The restaurant is delicious and the welcome very friendly.

The pros: very well located hotel 5 minutes from the A6 motorway, high-speed chargers for electric vehicles, and the large swimming pool is perfect in hot weather. For the restaurant, at least offer wines by the glass of acceptable quality and dishes other than industrial. As for the bedroom, and in the absence of air conditioning and proper thermal insulation, install mosquito nets to be able to open the windows at night.

Disappointed overall... Arriving at the hotel stopover we decided to take this small "charming" hotel at first glance to cut our journey, especially with a baby. Concerning the rooms, they are correct even if the cleaning left something to be desired... stained/dirty towels... the sheets also stained... the floor mediocre... Dilapidated bathroom (yellowed joints) nothing to hold the shower head... on the other hand a very pretty view of the Saône… Swimming pool with treated water but the bottom is not cleaned… the same as the exterior spaces around it, all in all well thought out but poorly maintained… the vegetation lives in spaces to rest And above all the most disappointing, a general feeling that everything is complicated. We had asked for a table for 4 for dinner (accompanied by 2 babies) and they almost withdrew our reservation... You have to leave the hotel at 10:30 a.m. which is still quite “early”. We couldn't enjoy the spaces... in short, nothing was done to make us have a good time or feel good. The customer experience really needs to be reviewed... As if we were disturbing... a cruel lack of human warmth and welcome so that the customer has a good time. On the other hand, the restaurant was very good - quality dishes - even if they were very poorly marked and difficult to have an overall vision of what was on offer... in short still "complicated" for the slightest request... Too bad because we are passing through the area every year ! That doesn't build customer loyalty. Don't expect too much during your visit. Disappointing.

Very pleasant setting and welcome. A more than welcome swimming pool after the road. A very nice dining environment. Disappointment with the accommodation which needs to be refreshed. A broken TV, a tired bathtub and a leaking toilet. However, a commercial gesture was made spontaneously. Professional team.

A lovely hotel. The accommodation is quite basic but the restaurant is excellent and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The pool is also very good and a real bonus after a long journey in the summer.

The setting is beautiful, very rural. There was a nearby railway line and we could hear the trains periodically.

Our room was clean and the outside veranda with table and 2 chairs was a nice touch. The bed was a little hard for me. I would have preferred a freestanding shower instead of a shower in a bath.

The reception was very nice and the surroundings were perfect with a dog. BUT our room smelled musty and damp. There were numerous places in the bathroom that were covered in mold. The bed linen smelled of disgusting damp. It was also very dirty and the bed was very uncomfortable. You couldn't tilt the window. This made it incredibly stuffy. We cannot recommend this hotel.

A nice hotel in a good location. Very clean rooms with a nice view of the river, only the door to the toilet was a little stuck so we had problems getting out again. The breakfast room is very cozy and there was everything you would expect from a hotel in this price range.

A very nice hotel with very friendly staff. It is a little out of the way and very idyllic. Nevertheless, it is easy to get to from exit 28. About 5 minutes from the motorway exit. The Saone flows directly behind the hotel, and you can take a leisurely stroll along the paved path. I will always be happy to come back.

My wife is a neat freak. We returned late (± 2 a.m.) The mattress pads and mattresses were dirty and stained. My wife preferred to sleep in the car. I don't want to post a bad Google or Trip Advisor review but share my dissatisfaction with you. Sincerely

Hello, I often stay at this hotel. Great welcome. I am pampered when I stay several days, my menus are adapted so that I don't always eat the same thing. Very good value for money! Staff from the housekeeper to the room staff are very friendly. I recommend ! I recommend.

New to this region, but not with Logis de France! My previous experiences in a neighboring region were always very satisfactory today I am rather very disappointed with the service because for an identical price in the neighboring region (new Aquitaine) well the services are considerably low at the limit of respectable for such an amount. A level much lower than my previous experiences. I could advise giving the whole establishment a facelift, and frankly the menus are worthy of a suburban college refectory. Too bad because the idea (or rather the name) of the farm is evocative, but there the word is visibly flouted... For the next ones, I invite you to continue the road even if it is 1 hour longer, it is only reward.

After having stayed several times in this hotel the situation has deteriorated, water leak in the bathroom, key to the terrace lost, it is not possible to get out except through the window, cleanliness needs to be reviewed, disappointing breakfast compared to the price I I won't come back

Very friendly and the food was very good.

It's an 'individual' hotel, a little idiosyncratic, but the room was comfortable and the evening meal was excellent. Overall it was a good place to stay.

If I could I wouldn't give a single star. The room we received was small, loveless, bare, damp, dirty and cold. There were dust and cobwebs everywhere. Spiders sat in the corners, crawling across the floor and on the walls. There are endless stains on the walls, it looks as if children have smeared their boogers - the heater in the bathroom is also completely stained and greasy. No curtain on the tub for showering. It's super loud and noisy - a train/freight train passes by the hotel every few minutes all night long. A fountain bubbling constantly right in front of the door. All in all, an absolute disgrace!!! Terrible

Halfway between the north and the south of France, the old farm is ideally located for a rest stop on the banks of the Saône: beautiful, comfortable room, good bedding, warm welcome, good meal at the terrace restaurant, good breakfast, good value for money price .

Comfortable room with terrace overlooking the Saône (100 meters away, outdoor tables and chairs. Separate private bathroom and toilet. Only regret: good food but limited menu for a long stay.

Price performance very poor. Rooms equipped like in a youth hostel. Not remotely comfortable. We relied on the reviews you published and can hardly imagine that they were actually written by guests. So far we have always relied on Logis! We are very disappointed! The food in the restaurant was good - but the ambience was very poor. Old, ratty menu cards - bulky waste on the guest terrace - only one well-trained service staff - the manager of the house is wearing short, worn-out jogging pants and a polo shirt and slippers. To make matters worse, there was a power outage in the entire hotel almost the entire night. The hotel operators may not be able to do anything about the power outage, but we were promised that we would receive the bill by email and that the amount would then be debited from our credit card. The debit has been made - we have not received an invoice to date. The entire price was obviously debited without any discount. It was very unpleasant to spend a night in a strange house without electricity - no light - shutters were electric and therefore couldn't be operated, etc. The rating for the room in terms of cleanliness can only be estimated because we didn't see anything due to the power outage. We only spent that night there because we were passing through, we only arrived in the evening and then went straight to the restaurant to eat.

For our second visit to the hotel, we noticed that efforts had been made regarding the information signs. Now a little more maintenance of the green spaces, the path to the reception and the accommodation and a little more light in the evening, and we are sure that the opinion of the residents will be even better

Quiet location on the edge of the Nationale 6, directly accessible. Very pretty gardens, animals, swimming pool, it gives a taste of the countryside between Mâcon and Chalon. The rooms accessible as in a motel are very practical. The interior is sober and well maintained. The food is very good and quality, fast and friendly service. (And there’s digeo Calvados!)

Wonderful hotel. Very bucolic. All the necessary comfort. It would just miss the airco...

The positive points are the reception, the staff is attentive and friendly. The pool area is great. The family room met our expectations. Croissant and fresh bread for breakfast, very pleasant. The big downside is the restaurant. For 30 euros the menu is only frozen (steak, vegetables, frog legs etc...) which has been seasoned or enhanced with tarragon or aromatic sauces. The cheese, we are on the first price goat's log which has no taste. It's really a pity. It seems that the card has not changed for a long time and the choice of dishes is very limited. Even if it means limiting, it is precisely easier to make "homemade" with seasonal products. They will be cheaper than frog legs or scallops but much better because they are fresh. Overall, for 30 euros, there is much better to do. For this price, we expect better quality products with taste and not reheated. The experience would have been perfect with a chef's kitchen: fresh, seasonal products or recipes made in the kitchen from A to Z.

Wij hebben gelogeerd in een familiekamer. De kamer was heel kaal en vooral niet proper. In de WC kropen de beesten gewoon in de hoeken en in de slaapkamer zat er bovenaan in een hoek een spin. In elke hoek hingen bijna spinnenwebben.. Ik denk dat ze de meubels vlug gepoetst hebben en gewoon in de vlugte gestofzuigd. De terrasmeubels waren niet proper gemaakt. Het ontbijt was heel basic. Wat wel goed was is het zwembad en het uitzicht vanop de kamer.

The rooms in the modern part are correct with a terrace on the Saône. Small bed and bathtub in the bathroom without a curtain. Pleasant swimming pool. The noise of the trains and the annoying road. Regarding the hotel: the "correct" rating applies and cannot go beyond because the catering (breakfast, dinner) is "disappointing". Frugality (1 croissant, 1 single roll, at dinner: a plate called the Périgord salad where the gizzard is served in microscopic pieces, 3 small slices of rather fatty duck breast, 3 endive leaves and a little salad, presented in a small space in the middle of a huge plate. Ignore the sweetbreads on pain of disappointment! It is better to plan to order wine if you don't want to get in the bad mood of the waiter and the manager!

We trusted the "Logis de France" as a guarantee of quality... The hotel is actually containers fitted out as a room... cleanliness was greatly lacking, right from the front door (speckles/spiders on the bed linen- dirty toilets- faded walls- dirty terrace-…). We have never been so disappointed… Decent bedding but as soon as we were able to leave, we left this disappointing stage! Surtt for the price (210 euros for 2 adults/2 children). Correct breakfast but nothing more: coffee machine / not fresh fruit / dirty tables and towels). In short, we do not understand how the label "Logis de France" is granted!

This was a great place to stop over for the night on the way to the Alpes. All the staff were very friendly and the hotel is in a lovely location. It was very good for a family as there is a good pool, lots of green space and you can park in front of the property. The highlight however was definitely the restaurant where we had a fantastic dinner.

Good welcome, good meals, a little disappointed by the surrounding noise (train road and neighboring rooms), a little disappointed by the cleanliness of the room (curtains) and the shower in the bath without a curtain!

Reception fine, room basic but good, outside seating rickety, and “seating outside outdated and poorly maintained. Restaurant reasonable, scallops were from the freezer, sweetbread eaten but was not top prepared. The sauces were good with both dishes. I say keep your choices safe in the restaurant. Unfortunately only a choice of two menus, against as many as 20 desserts!???! Furthermore, for your transit it is a reasonable hotel and not too expensive. Swimming pool is fine and wonderful after a day in the car. And view from the room is nice overlooking the Saône.

very disappointed with the room. all the comfort is there but it is really very ugly. The setting is nice because the rooms give a view of the Saône. The balcony is ridiculous and absolutely not maintained. It would be better if there were none. I had a very good dinner there and that's the only positive point. The breakfast is ok but not more. The downside is really the bedroom... it gives you the blues. The reception is nice, plenty of room for parking. The corner of the rooms is like a very very ugly dormitory since an old farmhouse.

We have our habits at La Vieille Ferme that we still appreciate so much! Just one downside to the menu that we would like to see changed.... The welcome is still just as pleasant, special mention to Dorine!

The old farm is an ideal stopover for a night on the road, especially if you are traveling with doggies or small children. Accommodation is simple and clean. The restaurant serves delicious dishes. It's a bit expensive but really very good. We were also able to enjoy a beer on the terrace at the end of the afternoon after a long walk along the banks of the Saône... in short, a very pleasant stopover on the road.

The staff were excellent and the food far beyond expectations. Amazing river view. A perfect overnight stop for tired travellers.

The site and the quality bedding. Proximity to a railway line creating nuisance part of the night. As for the restoration, the quality is to be reviewed (canned and frozen). Nothing to do with the name "the old farm". Quality products are expected for the asking price.

Very welcoming staff. Meal very very good and homemade, it's really nice. Small downside the rooms are dilapidated, in a motel-like building. Bad reception of TV channels. A little refreshment would be welcome. Presence of cobwebs and an ashtray in a cup on the small terrace of the room. Full of course. Damage.

Hello, despite a pleasant welcome and people who want to do their jobs as well as possible, I find the accommodation old despite the view of the Saône which amplifies the serenity. The price per night seems a bit high to me. The quality of the catering disappointed me in relation to the LOGIS de FRANCE brand which has accustomed me to a rather high and qualitative culinary level.

Very welcoming, friendly team. A small technical problem in the bathroom was solved as soon as I mentioned it to the reception. Good value for money for the evening stopover.

The hotel is very nice. I was there a very long time ago. The commercial area didn't exist then. But it is perfectly situated on the way to the French. Riviera. However, not suitable for disabled people.

It is a nice hotel for one night.
