A very comfortable hotel with welcoming staff and an excellent restaurant

This place is so good that I don't want everyone to know. Clemency is a wonderful host.

Very disappointing - We have been coming here over the years. No Christmas lights or tree. Very sparse bar area - not allowed a bottle in our room. Cold unwelcoming restaurant. Very offhand waitress who never smiled or engaged with us. She threw some newspaper at fire which of course didn't light. Didn't even bother to come out to say goodnight when we left. Nice food both at breakfast & in the evening. Lovely large room but smaller room had to be changed because of a nasty smell therefore new room was cold. All in all this lovely logis lacks the former warmth and welcoming atmosphere that kept us coming back.

We have been staying at the Ferme du Vert for several years, before it linked up with Logis. It is a most beautiful place and, like all large historic buildings, requires an owner who is very dedicated to the building and its immediate surroundings but also a very welcoming hostess. This is very much the case now! It was a delight for us to be able to spend a night again there as well as to enjoy an excellent dinner in its restaurant with highly original dishes.

I've stayed at this hotel many times and always had a lovely time. Accommodation is quite basic, paper cups with the kettle, very basic sachets. The experience however is always great but at very little cost they could improve it massively

Our second visit did not disappoint. The evening meals were superb. Great reception always here. We'll be back soon.

Very good but open the possibility for stopover evenings to change dishes on the menu with a supplement.

In the middle of nature, no big luxury..but warm hospitality, good restaurant with honest prices.. We recommend!

The staff and food were amazing, however the room was cold (it's November) and moldy which created a very strong smell in our room. The bed was not that comfortable.

A warm and attentive welcome. One thing to complain about is the lack of electrical outlets, none available, forced to unplug the TV or a bedside lamp to charge your phone.

Some things in our room needed attention (eg MDF for "curtains" to put up daily)

Friendly welcome and buildings overall give a good first impression. Staff helpful.

A bit disappointed there was no option to purchase a 50cl carafe of wine with our meal. A bottle was too much askew were both making an early start on motorcycles the next morning. We also felt that the maitre de was in too much of a rush. She would benefit by taking things a little more calmly.

We have known and loved this hotel for almost 40 years. The new owners have made sure that the character and charm have been retained and they did everything to accommodate our needs and make our stay as pleasant as always. Excellent restaurant.

Beautiful place in a natural setting. Warm welcome. Sublime restaurant offering mouth-watering dishes.

Room does not reflect the pictures on the website. Country room needs renovation. Toiletdoor missing paint, shower head of poor quality and loose on the shower rail. Problem with flies in the room. Very poor amenities. 1 small bottle of water for 2 people and 2 nights. Same for shower gel.

Our fourth stay at this hotel and, once again, we are impressed. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and professional. The hotel rooms are well equipped, comfortable and clean. The hotel is in the countryside and is very quiet but is also close to the Channel ports and the coast.

Only complaint would be that there was no milk in the room for tea/coffee and no proper cups. Other than that it was perfect.

Very welcoming, easy to find and quiet.

A lovely quiet location outside the village with working farms all around. Beautiful old house with pleasant gardens in which to walk, and an entertaining duck pond. The reception was warmly professional and staff were incredibly helpful and good-humoured. Food was excellent in the restaurant and the breakfast had everything we wanted. Will definitely return.

A fabulous place to stay set around a beautiful courtyard with ducks and chickens roaming freely. We enjoyed drinks in the late sunshine and then inside in the bar. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Being vegetarian there was nothing on the menu that we could eat, however we were told that we could have requested a vegetarian option at the time of booking but by the time we were told that it was too late! It was disappointing to find only instant coffee sachets and paper cups in the room - luckily we had some good quality coffee bags and asked for 'proper' cups.

Lovely hotel. Friendly staff. Huge comfortable room and bathroom with bathtub. Extremely nice restaurant. Short but fab menu. 38E three course set menu good value. And so nice they charge modestly for a bottle of wine.

A beautiful place to stay, just 20 minutes from Calais and close to lovely seaside towns such as Wisant and Wimereux. We enjoyed a very peaceful overnight stay with dinner in the hotel restaurant. The only negative was the presence of very vicious mosquitoes in our bedroom which greatly interrupted our night's sleep and meant we had to endure a warm night with the window firmly closed, shrouded in the bedsheets for protection. However, this would not stop us from returning (with some plug-in mosquito deterrent!) and the hotel represents excellent value for money in a really lovely location. The staff were all helpful, warm and friendly.

We chose this accommodation based on its location in relation to the estate where we had a wedding. The welcome went very well, the staff is very kind and very professional. We were accompanied to our room (No. 5) and we were very satisfied overall. The only downside, and not the least, was the bedding. I think it needs to be reviewed for this room! The breakfast was perfect, with a variety of fresh and local products available. Thank you for the welcome and good luck to you.

The food in the restaurant is stunning. It's worth staying at this hotel just for that. Beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Our room felt a bit old and dark, and the mattress wasn't great. The toilet in our room was uncomfortably small. However, service, breakfast and dinner make up for everything.

Beautiful hotel nestled in the greenery in a quiet area. We came by motorbike and the hotel offered to put our motorbike in a garage 👍. Thank you for this attention. The menu at the restaurant is very qualitative. We enjoyed ourselves, from the appetizer to the dessert. The waiters are very attentive. The breakfast is correct. And the waitress is very smiling. The room: large bed and good bedding (mattress and pillows). Italian shower - so great service. We slept really well. Very relaxing

The staff is very welcoming and attentive. Very complete breakfast, the restaurant has a fairly brief menu but of very good quality and a very careful cuisine and service. Good location in the middle of the Opal Coast close to everything without the disadvantages of places closer to the coast. Thank you for your good care.

We loved our stay. Both for the welcome and for the environment. Everything was perfect, attentive staff, very pretty room, great setting, calm, tranquility... in short, I recommend without hesitation!

4th time and still the same pleasure

Overall it's good, I think that for the price, the rooms must be equipped with air conditioning. Plus a handle would help older people like us get in and out of the tub. For the rest we are satisfied with our night. Welcome and have a good lunch.

Warm welcome, site nestled in nature, a downside for the very hot room, lack of ventilation and mosquitoes. But maybe due to special weather?

Superb setting in a pretty restored farmhouse. Top services restaurant, bar, possibility of small hot drinks in the rooms. Large bedroom with small living room, bathroom with bathtub and rain shower. Restaurant with large fireplace in the center and terrace with real work of really interesting and excellent products. The only negative points are the sound insulation between the rooms not great and the maintenance of the equipment in the rooms (no pressure on the shower, toilet seat not holding, maintenance of certain paintings) as well as a lack of socket current when you have a lot of devices to plug in, it's a bit tight. But this remains detail about my entire stay on the site.

Superb as always, such a lovely place to stay, close to Calais and Boulogne for a weekend away in the French countryside or for a nights stay at the beginning or end of a driving holiday to the South of France which is how we used it this time.

Pleasant stay, have slept and eaten in this hotel several times. One small downside is that the cats are also indoors occasionally. I have an allergy myself and would like to see this differently. The animals are not allowed in the hotel but in the general area and the bar.

So convenient for an overnight stop on our way from UK to Normandy, in a quiet spot, yet very convenient for the highway.

This is a lovely hotel, with an excellent, friendly team. The beds are super comfortable, and the breakfast and dinner very good indeed.

Very pretty, relaxed hotel in the countryside, ideally situated for the Channel Tunnel (30 mins) or for touring the pretty Cote Opale region. Comfortable clean bedrooms with good beds and showers. Simple well executed dinners and very good breakfasts in the very pretty breakfast room. Ample parking. There are pretty gardens, so it would be nice to see more made of these with seating outside etc.

This is a beautiful hotel in a really peaceful location. The reception and all the staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well maintained, although one English language channel on the TV would be nice. The quality of the breakfast is as good as it gets, the breads from the local bakery are amazing. The restaurant is modern in contrast with the traditional feel of the hotel and the food is of a good standard. The choice is adequate but limited. This is our second visit and we will definitely be returning.

Love this hotel. Its simplicity and understated sophistication perfect for myself and my partner. Breakfast plentiful and delicious and excellent restaurant. Peaceful and a real retreat in the French countryside, and only 20 mins from Channel tunnel! Clémence is an excellent and very professional manager. Nothing too much trouble and attention to detail 2nd to none.

Beautiful establishment with a team attentive to the customer

A very good find as far as we are concerned. Have stayed about five times. We have a dog and the hotel has a couple of dog friendly rooms. We are always made very welcome and a wonderful dinner is waiting for us. Car parking is safe. Only around 20 minutes from Eurotunnel.

It's not the first time that we've stayed at the Ferme du Vert, and it's always a good, quiet time, in the countryside, a warm welcome, everything is done to ensure that we have a good time ! we feel good at the Ferme du Vert! We would particularly like to thank the site manager who is a wonderful person! she is really caring towards her customers! Well done !

As a long-time customer, I find that the welcome is always as warm, and in continuity with the previous owner. Hotel and table always there in a magnificent countryside. fresh and local products perfectly cooked, and a generous, gourmet plate. Cheese lovers, next door “La Ferme du Vert” will take you on a taste journey of wonderful cheeses. A beautiful address!!!

This Logis is one of our favorites. We are never disappointed. We have probably stayed there at least 7 times. Also with the previous owner Thomas. We are usually in vintage cars before we take part in a local car rally.

This hotel is lovely, rooms tidy and accessible. Despite the sign you may unload your cases from the car in the courtyard before parking in car park across the road. The food was good and the menu laid out well. It's a very quiet and peaceful place, though you would need to follow a map or GPS utility to find it.

Great place and facilities. Nice people. Some observations: (1) We recommend to remove the 'red smiley' paper regarding arrival times for breakfast from the door of the building as this did not feel guest friendly.to us. (2) Second dinner was served at a 'rush' pace, which did not feel relaxed.

On the whole very happy with the hotel. Lovely setting, friendly helpful staff, good dinner and comfortable bed. The only negative was that the breakfast, although good, was greatly overpriced.

We had a very brief but welcoming stay. We sadly arrived late so missed dinner and had to leave early for our onward journey. Our welcome was very friendly, the room and location were beautiful, and we were impressed enough Im already wondering if we can stay again with more time!

A pearl of residence. In nature, calm and beautiful buildings and garden. Very good and warm welcome. A restaurant to say 'you' to. Very high quality dinner served with care. To lick your fingers. Delicious!!!! Excellent breakfast buffet in beautiful dining room. Beautifully decorated rooms with perfect hygiene. A place to return for sure.

Booked a room for myself and partner. The room had an unpleasant peculiar smell, it was a warm summer day so we thought the room just needed a little airing but even after several hours the smell didn't clear. We then discovered the room was infested with bedbugs crawling on the bed and throughout the carpet. We insisted on being moved to a different room, thankfully we only booked for one night. Hotel's explanation was that the bugs were due to the weather and offered a €10.00 discount!. This is odd as the alternative room was clean of bugs and no unpleasant smell.
