Staff are very welcoming and professional. Lovely place to stay. Clean, tidy and very quiet. The only thing that would make it perfect is coffee making facilties in the room.
We only stayed one night as we were travelling from Spain to the Eurotunnel in Calais, so it was just a stopover. Very impressed with the staff and the evening meal. Not quite so impressed with our room, it looked a bit tired and the grounds looked a little neglected.
Passing by motorbike for the region, access to a private courtyard for parking. Very good welcome and services as well as the room and catering
The room is ok, like the bedding. The disappointment came from the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The bar is announced as open, but there is no one there. The restaurant menu is more than limited. I choose a wine; there are none left. I choose another wine; there are none left. The prices are steep. On average €40 for non-prestigious wines. The staff (Arab) is very nice, but they know nothing about wine. I waited 1/2 hour before having something in my glass. The waiter tries to open the bottle. On the 3rd attempt, I offer to do it myself. When I take the cork out, a few drops spill onto the table. They will stay there. Surreal. As for the €16 breakfast, it is ordinary. No hot dishes. Plastic containers so bland. If I summarize, the prices are very much exaggerated for the offer received.
Excellent restaurant, however, the breakfast needs to be reviewed. Cakes, financiers, brioches inedible because dry, too bad. Not enough pastries, coffee served at the table but not at will. The price is 16€ and it is not worth it. Correct room with large comfortable bed. At the reception, you have to look for the receptionist, there is often no one.
Our stay was very comfortable and the food was excellent.
The hotel was conveniently located for a stopover on our way to Switzerland.
A little chaotic but I
Very nice place with incredible nice hosts and extraordinary food!
Very nice place! I recommend
Very good hotel, pleasant swimming pool, warm welcome, friendly and attentive staff, very good stay!
I'm not going to judge the hotel. I paid but I didn't stay there. Feeling bad in the middle of my journey. I book online. I arrive straight after my reservation at 3 p.m. The hotel door is closed. A person ends up sticking their head through the door and explaining to me that they don't forget until 5 p.m. -but I can enter the hotel and wait in the lobby or at the pool until 5 p.m. for my room to be ready -no there is no one to welcome you you have not read the instructions on booking it is 5 p.m. -I insist. I have never heard of a hotel that prevents customers from entering (especially since I see customers who already have their rooms entering and leaving through a small door on the side. -Madam I often go to the hotel and it is very often like here. Faced with the categorical refusal, I was in another hotel, cheaper, 10 minutes from yours. and I had the best service. Friendly staff, I asked to wait at the pool while waiting for the room at 4 p.m. but I was immediately given the key. So I will not judge your hotel. But I ask you for a refund. I will put my Google review later Thank you
Nice and clean
Swimming pool out of service and no one informed us Messy breakfast Fortunately reimbursed to compensate for the 32 km spent swimming in Avallon
The Logis Ici M'aime hotel was a real revelation last year at the same time: practical location, quality services, comfortable rooms, pleasant swimming pool, charming garden, welcoming terrace, and restaurant much superior to most establishments "classics" which simply serve steaks and fries, burgers or salads. The staff was attentive and accommodating. Taking advantage once again of a stay in the region, I hastened to book again to replicate the same formula, sure and certain that we would have a relaxing and delicious end of the day, worthy of the 3 stars that the Logis advocates on its front. Alas, the team has changed, for something new and not necessarily in a good way. I explain the context of the discomfort: Arriving at the restaurant in the evening, we had the choice between 2 menus Starter - main course - dessert (40 euros and 28 euros) or a vegetarian version for 35 euros. Cheese option for 10 euros. Very “fish” menu on one side, mushrooms, cans or rabbit on the other. a menu driven by unusual choices of course, a certain risk-taking, but not for everyone. No escape possible, we like it or not...We eat at "Ici M'aime" all the same! I can't resist the urge to transcribe the following, so surreal, dialogue with the chef/maitre d'hôtel/accountant: "We're sorry, it's going to be a bit of a hassle, but can we have a starter from menu A with the dish on menu B?" direct and brutal & uninhibited response from the person concerned: - “No, but if you want to take starter A with dish B, you take “à la carte” and it will cost you more” But yes, finally! I retorted, it's logical: on the menu, the dishes are more copious than on the menu, it's well known!... - "Ah No, it's the same quantity, it's identical, but like you want to order a la carte, you pay more" What? we have everything the same in quantity, less than the menu (because without dessert), but more expensive than the full menu because we have the LUXURY of choosing à la carte?? ouch, that's serious...not good...it's starting to get stuck. We offered to pay for the full menu, minus the dessert, like 35 or 25 euros, you see? we think about doing half and half even though we're not bullies. response from the chef / maître d'hôtel / accountant: "no, that's not possible" We'll try another approach then... - "I'm not interested in the dessert on the 40 euro menu, then I have cheese instead of dessert?" - “Yes, but it will cost you 10 euros extra” So a 50 euro menu for a starter, a main course, and cheese...OK...I want to say KO. Come on, let's finish being finished: "and what's in the vegetarian menu for 35 euros?" “you have mushrooms as a starter, and a vegetable fricassee.” For 35 euros. No dessert, no cheese, nothing else. Vegetables, what...for 35 euros... Double KO...there for the (whiplash), we are definitely being cored. There you go... The next morning, time for breakfast!! at 9 o'clock !! right in the middle of the 8 a.m.-10 a.m. time slot "you have the all-you-can-eat buffet inside" the head of the savory buffet which was inevitably swallowed up by the early and hungry customers: 7 small rolls of white ham, 1 slice of raw ham, 5 sticks of Comté cheese, 1 slice of salami, 1 half Camembert (very good indeed). For 3 people. There's definitely going to be some refilling, eh...eh? 10 minutes later, we still have to actively look for someone to ask if we can have salty food because everything is empty, and a new customer has arrived - the face she made when she saw the "available" stock. .. “can we have eggs (it doesn’t matter which ones: soft-boiled, scrambled, flat, hard-boiled, etc.)?” Direct and simultaneous response from the chef / maître d'hôtel / accountant and his waiter sidekick: "no, no eggs" Clearly, not very conversational, not very friendly, basically devoid of will. I am asking you the following questions very directly, as directly as your chef / maître d'hôtel / accountant answered us the day before for ordering "fixed & rigid" menus: 1- do you think it is normal for a restaurant in an establishment 3* can be proud of its table policy towards customers who are not fans of fish and cans or rabbit and of not making A SINGLE effort to mix a starter A with a starter B in an exceptional way? The aim of ALL restaurants is to SATISFY the customer of course, within the limits of the possible, of course, and who is not there for the pleasure of annoying the staff or the chef who offers its “locked” menu? You do this job to literally give the customer a good time, it seems to me, right? 2- Do you think it's normal for the customer to ask to refill the buffet dishes after 10 minutes of nothing from the staff who don't care and who prefer to spend their time on the phone talking to their family / friends / surfing tik tok? If your restaurant had chef hats, it would be out of them at this point, sorry. You ask us to give an opinion, ok, that really bothers me, because a live review won't do anything. No...you need a good track record on the Internet, you have to be spanked in public so that you realize what you are putting your customers through (oh not everyone, but some need culinary adjustments for taste , because of allergies, or diet for example), where others should definitely learn what a customer is, how to take care of them, and how to manage a restaurant. Your catering policy is incomprehensible. If you are unable to make any effort to accommodate reasonable requests, prepare for harsh criticism. You must take this digital slap to understand that it is imperative to straighten out your way of doing things and to become very, very flexible, because as it stands, I refuse to return to your friendly & charming establishment. But your power duo is so psycho-rigid about catering! No concession, no dialogue, no negotiation is possible and if we complain, expect it to complain more soon. With the prices you charge and the reputation you have, you have a DUTY to comply with the reasonable requests of your customers, that's how it is. Otherwise, they will make the choice for you... Your establishment has potential, but not with such an incompetent and rigid team. The sentence is irrevocable: copy to be reviewed urgently. You have a team of amateurs who seem to know nothing about catering. A word to the wise. Mr THOMAS
When we arrived with the motorbike we were invited to put the bike in the garden of the hotel what we really appreciate. But it was a pity that the Tesla of the staff blocked almost the road . Even after a group of bikers arrived the Tesla was still there.
The garden has a lot of potential if you put some effort in it.
At the breakfast we were ignored by the staff. She passed us many times without asking anything… after we asked for cups and plates she helped us.
The room was nice and the beds were clean…
After all a good stay but it can be better…
Excellent repas
Bravo au chef
The hotel is in a very quiet location. The room was very clean and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable.
Great discovery for a Morvan stopover
Beautiful hotel in the countryside and very dog-friendly. We had a set menu in the evening and the food was absolutely excellent! Great value for money, great service and a lovely atmosphere - we'd love to go back!
Restaurant: Waiting for dishes much too long
Arrival 5:10 p.m. Hotel closed. telephone call opening on complaint 5:20 p.m. Dinner proposal same menu as ten years ago very mediocre and EXPENSIVE choice. Room very nice aura, accommodation, but bed very HARD mattress curved towards the outside, same pillow so therefore BAD NIGHT. Bathroom high bathtub, difficult to access, for a simple shower, very slippery bathtub, no anti-slip device, no access or help handle; therefore, no shower possible. A single cup for two people<, Otherwise very pleasant setting, very,-beautiful garden. But this is not enough. Establishment to recommend to young Spartan people, especially not to people who like their comfort, unfortunately nothing less than 10 kilometers away. c BAD SUIT
Hotel with very good sized rooms. Own . Very good quality restaurant.
A perfect stay!
Evening stopover, large, quiet parking lot in the countryside. It's silent! Clean and modern room.
Very clean hotel, perfect welcome, we are very satisfied
Great discovery
Excellent dinner, very pleasant breakfast by the fireplace. We hope that the new team will preserve the spirit of the house, in particular the magnificent list of local and Burgundian natural wines.
Very good value for money Good welcome by young new management
Very nice home. Nice room. Very nice dining room. Tasty dinner. Excellent breakfast with top quality homemade products. Comfortable hotel and pretty interior garden.
