We had booked a superior room for a 4 night stay. Top floor, no 17.
It was dark, small window, stains on carpet, very poor lighting, which didn’t help the darkness of the room, and chipped surface around sink area. A superior room it was not!!!!!
We decided to stay as only going to sleep there. At 12.30, 2.00 and 4.30 people were coming and going making a lot of noise. We had tried putting the heating on and radiator was making noise all night, but no heat!!! At 6.30 lots of banging from radiator.
Breakfast very poor.
We decided we couldn’t stay another night, so said we were leaving and would pay for the one night and breakfast. Because we had booked four nights we had to pay for the four.
We moved to a lovely apartment over looking the river, with heating.
We travel a lot and know it’s not always going to be perfect, but I can honestly say, this was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in,
and do not understand other people’s comments!!!
Old-fashioned room
Noisy hotel, unsatisfactory soundproofing, doors slam very loudly. Old-fashioned room, especially the bathroom. Very low water pressure the first 2 days. After informing the person at reception, the problem was resolved for the sink but not for the shower, very uncomfortable. The breakfast is not compatible with a 3-star hotel.
Kamer was heel erg klein
Very good. But they were missing sockets for the phone. A little lick of paint in the 8th, thank you.
Room problem, we changed it but they should no longer rent this room before having modified the toilets
Very welcoming and friendly staff The room could do with a lick of paint: stained carpet, peeling paint... The toilet in the bathroom was not easy to access (you have to open the door, then close the door before you can go through). The toilet paper in "industrial" format looks more like a motorway rest area than a hotel. It was very hot and there was no air conditioning. The lighting system means that you can't turn off the light in the hallway and watch TV... it's not very practical. Overall we slept well and had a good stay :)
More expensive than all other hotels that week
Plus charging for bike storage in a dirty old garage !!!
The remote control didn't work, ultra small bathroom, switch from another time. Furniture from another time too.
Hotel is convenient to the station and centre of town. It is best described as “adequate” meaning it is clean and has good but very basic facilities. Takes advantage of the limited competition in Compiègne
Great welcome, really great team, just review the diversity of products, for lunch
broken bathtub faucet and hot water taking a long time to come... for breakfast, the staff was outside on the sidewalk and did not take care of the customers. there was no more bread and pastries... and that didn't pose a problem to them.
Simple, pleasant and comfortable The bathroom a little small on the sink side Very nice view on the quay side, a little more gloomy on the interior side
Disappointed by the quality, not the style of room that I had reserved (room with 2 small beds whereas I had reserved a large bed) and charged the same rate. Only one menu, no choice and the breakfast buffet poor in choice and quality of products not great. In short, to be avoided and for my part the worst hotel accommodation I have experienced!!!
Small room Too much noise from outside. WiFi does not work High consumption rates, compared to the home.
A significant lack of lighting in the room Impossible to connect to WiFi in the dining room a single choice of menu
Disappointed with this second stay in this establishment. I had room 8, the stairwell from the 1st to 2nd floor was not lit. Broken shower faucet. Stained bedroom carpet and ceiling. It is a shame to assign a room with broken taps even though the staff were aware of it😒.
Good hotel with a surprising restaurant.
Cleanliness ok but hotel is getting old. Bathroom linen needs to be replaced urgently
I was very disappointed about the bathroom. There was almost no pressure on the water in the shower and the water was not hot enough. The room needs some maintenance.
Very good and attentive staff. Varied and plentiful breakfast. Lunch meal very good. But the room has a nauseating smell of sewer. Bathtub transformed into a shower!!!!Doubtful bathroom cleaning. There was a washcloth left from a previous customer. Hair on the floor. The beds after the first night were made but the bathroom trash bin was not emptied.
Perfect
Good welcome, friendly staff, good value for money.
Personnel très gentil et professionnel.
Très bon séjour.
Very happy with the hotel. Location was right by the train station, room was basic, great shower.
Might be a little noisy on Saturday night
Cozy authentic hotel.
Building is too old.
Apart from the restaurant which is really too good, the rooms (at least the 16) needs a real facelift. Old-fashioned decor, scary bathroom, hole in the walls, marked bathtub… no hot water pressure, rising kebab smells just below which prevents you from keeping the window open at night… The super nice staff despite everything quickly forget that :-)
No choice in the stage menu. no fan in the room
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Room big enough and clean. Too bad, there is no air conditioning but we sleep very well.
Redo the bedrooms and the bathroom. Odor in the room Electrical problem
Pipe smells in the toilets which sometimes flow back into the room
The only downside is the smell of the towels, not great.
